I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.
About: I've been a dog-mom to three very different dogs—a German Shepherd, a Rottweiler, and an Indian street dog rescue—over nearly 30 years. They were always part of the family, traveling with us across the world through military assignments and other moves. I've loved and cared for them through every stage of life, from their energetic puppy days to the challenges of old age, gaining plenty of experience with a range of personalities and needs. I recently said goodbye to Daisy, my loyal companion of 13 years, leaving a big hole in my heart. I have a hybrid work schedule and very few time-bound commitments, making my schedule very flexible. Typically, I am available throughout the day Wednesday through Sundays. I am out of the house 8 am - 2 pm on Monday and Tuesdays. I live in a single family home with a small unfenced yard. About: I have many years of experience working with animals not only from having them in my home since I was a child and owning them myself. I currently work and have worked at several jobs with different animals that were paid, internships, and volunteer. I own or have owned, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, turtles, guinea pigs, goats, and mini pigs. When I was in my senior year of high school, I only had 1 class left to take to graduate and the rest of the time I interned at the local veterinary clinic. After being there for 3 days, they offered me a job. I worked there in the evenings after school. I was able to participate in routine and emergency appointments, observe surgeries, and assist with a variety of laboratory test, such as blood tests. I volunteered at the local animal shelter where I ensured they had a clean and healthy environment for rehabilitation by cleaning cages and had toys for enrichment. I also socialized dogs, and cats in the shelter, by taking them for walks and playing with them and I volunteered at two different rescues, one was for horse rescue and the other for parrots. When I graduated high school, during college I volunteered at the local humane society where I aided in the socialization of stray, abused, abandoned, and surrendered cats and dogs. I currently work part-time as an Animal Control Officer in another state where I perform investigations, explain local laws, codes, and ordinances relating to the care and control of animals and issue citations for violations. I capture stray and unlicensed animals, transport injured animals and provide for their care. I also maintain records and reports related to work performed. I currently volunteer at a local animal shelter where I assist with caring for the dogs, cats, and small animals. I am willing to work with any animal. Caring for them is my true passion. About: I rescued and raised 2 kittens that were found abandoned on a boat in Alabama. They were the size of my palm when we got them and I love those boys with my whole heart. About: I had cats growing up, but currently have a tuxedo cat who I love dearly. We got him and his brother from Alabama as kittens, and they were the best of friends until sadly, Cooper passed away suddenly last year. Cooper always woke me up every morning by laying on my chest, and now that he is gone, his brother Hendrix has started to do it in his place. About: We have owned at least 2 dogs at any given time for the past 30 years and truly believe no home is complete without at least 4 paws. Our family currently has 3 dogs, with plenty of room for furry friend visitors in our 4500 square foot house and acre-and-a-half fenced in yard. I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband works from home so we are around the house at the beck and call of our dog guests 24/7. We have a fenced in yard to let dogs in and out on demand (which is already constant here anyway) and a laid back routine that can easily accommodate whatever else your pet might need. Our dogs are family members, and yours would be too for their entire stay with us. Never left alone and spoiled with attention, there isn’t a care in the world once they set foot in the door — fed, watered, walked, exercised, loved, and played with! Direct access from the house to the fenced-in backyard makes potty breaks a breeze and fresh air an easy bonus throughout the day.

Loopy ended up with an ear infection between when she confirmed taking him and when he would be dropped off and knowing he wouldn’t be contagious without hesitation she agreed to give him oral and topical medication! Mindy was fantastic, flexibility and we highly recommend her and her family for dog sitting!”
