“I had an excellent experience booking a 4 day stay with Varsha for my Cavalier- Chloe. Chloe is a shy dog who gets anxious in new places, and honestly does not like most dogs as they overwhelm her. However, she became a brand new dog at Varsha’s house. She was playing, having a great time, and became fond of Varsha, her family, and their dog. Varsha kept me updated on Chloe and sent lots of pictures, which helped me enjoy my trip. They made sure she ate all of her meals and monitored everything. Her dog Milo has such a calm, sweet demeanor and made for a great host. This ended up being a really good experience for Chloe and has actually made her more trusting and open to other people and dogs! I definitely recommend her. About: I've been a dog-mom to three very different dogs—a German Shepherd, a Rottweiler, and an Indian street dog rescue—over nearly 30 years. They were always part of the family, traveling with us across the world through military assignments and other moves. I've loved and cared for them through every stage of life, from their energetic puppy days to the challenges of old age, gaining plenty of experience with a range of personalities and needs. I recently said goodbye to Daisy, my loyal companion of 13 years, leaving a big hole in my heart. I have a hybrid work schedule and very few time-bound commitments, making my schedule very flexible. Typically, I am available throughout the day Wednesday through Sundays. I am out of the house 8 am - 2 pm on Monday and Tuesdays. I live in a single family home with a small unfenced yard. About: We have owned at least 2 dogs at any given time for the past 30 years and truly believe no home is complete without at least 4 paws. Our family currently has 3 dogs, with plenty of room for furry friend visitors in our 4500 square foot house and acre-and-a-half fenced in yard. I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband works from home so we are around the house at the beck and call of our dog guests 24/7. Our children have grown up with dogs of all kinds (we currently have a giant 3-year old male Great Pyrenees, a 14-year old mostly deaf female Bichon Frise, and a tiny 4 year old female chihuahua mix, who together have taught our kids how to be respectful and conscious of animals in all walks of life). That being said, for the safety of our household, we can only board dogs who are family-friendly. We are homebodies who enjoy staying in, so we are around and available nearly 24/7/365. About: Hi my name is Fran. I’m a mostly stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 3 year old and 6 year old and 1 year old. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and an outside cat. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash a one year old Australian Shepherd and Littles a 15 year old Boston terrier mix. Both love to play!! Cash is still a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 15 and recently lost his sight He’ll try to keep up with Cash but mostly just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy (the love of my life) in their late twenties, some chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. Including injections I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

I believe quality time for bonding, play and affection is just as important as food/potty breaks for pet happiness. The best part of pet sitting is the quality time spent with your pet after all the business is done! I have a flexible schedule so I'm able to make most times work. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.

About: Lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats and a horse and studying psychology in college. I believe quality time for bonding, play and affection is just as important as food/potty breaks for pet happiness. The best part of pet sitting is the quality time spent with your pet after all the business is done! I have a flexible schedule so I'm able to make most times work. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.
About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life whether it be the 2 dogs that have been part of my family or taking care of neighbors dogs when they are out of town. I currently work part time so my schedule for pet care is very flexible and I would be available at most hours of the day. I have experience taking care of older dogs who just need someone to hang out with and I’ve taken care of younger hyper dogs that warrant extra attention. I am comfortable walking dogs on and off leash and crating them if need be.

About: Worked at Warrior Canine Connection as Canine Care staff, taking care of service dogs in training and new puppies! Kennel cleaning, walking, feeding, and some training and basic medical care. I am currently free all day! I can walk and do drop ins whenever you need as long as it is after 7 am and before 11pm. I give animals the time they need to warm up, and have an overall understanding of different body language. I am an aspiring veterinarian and believe that good animal care including exercise and nutrition (as well as some good cuddles) are key to a healthy pet.
