I do work a regular M-F job from 8-4:30 in Frederick. Caring for your pets would be around that schedule as my own pets are. Whether its house sitting or drop-in's I will ensure that your pets are walked and/or fed and keep you updated on any schedule changes I may have. When I do house sit I make sure I’m up earlier than normal to ensure all pets are taken care of before work. I come straight back after work as well, my animals are taken care of by my partner whenever I am away house sitting. I’m very accustomed to waking up early or administering scheduled medication. Please let me know if there are any schedule restrictions and I can work with my job to accommodate.

Safety, trust & environment

I understand how important it is for your pets to feel comfortable in their environment and how important it is for pet parents to feel at ease leaving their dogs in a safe environment. Based on my experience I can quickly spot any behavior changes in your pets and will promptly let you know. Sometimes cats won't eat or poop the first couple days you're away, I would keep you updated on when they finally start to relax. I'm very vigilant whether it's a walk, drop-in, or house sitting because I know how quickly behavior can change when mom and dad aren't around.

Information Cindy A. would like to know about your pet

-I'm very comfortable with high energy and large breed dogs. -Are they good with other dogs/cats? -Are they taking medication? -Do they require special needs attention?

A typical day

- Walks or a nice jog through the park or neighborhood - If allowed, we can go to dog parks - If allowed, we can go to dog friendly stores/restaurants - With cats, if they have any toys or boxes they love to play with I'd love to interact and be able to mentally stimulate them to reduce anxiety.

Pet care experience

Thank you for your consideration, Im back active on Rover after a year and ready to go back to what I know and love. My private pet services business started to grow through word of mouth between friends and friends of friends about 11 years ago, and has been incredibly rewarding meeting different personalities in client's pets. I moved back from Texas where I gained experience in behavioral training through my job at an animal rescue group as Dog Care Manager. Working in rescue has taught me that no matter the age all dogs are trainable, some just require extra patience. I also have experience working as a canine coach in a daycare where we were also trained under a trainer who specialized in behavioral issues. Finally, I worked at veterinary hospital where I gained experience with both cats and dogs to ensure their medical safety and know what signs to look out for illness. I'm familiar with all breeds of dogs and cats and specialize in large breed dogs due to my dogs being large breed; however, I love them all. In my personal experience, I volunteered with a local rescue and focused on motherless litters and did puppy care/training. **I do charge the rates that I do only on Rover based on the 20% cut they take from each service rendered. **

Cindy takes such good care of our dog. As he gets older it’s so much harder to leave him but she communicates with us so well and I know he is in such good hands while we are away!

Cindy did an excellent job caring for Tobias. She is very knowledgeable about dog behaviors and she is so kind. She has a nice fenced-in yard that is great for dogs to run around and play. This is the first time we have ever left him with anyone overnight. Cindy sent updates, pictures and videos throughout his stay and was very responsive. Tobias came home happy. We'll definitely call on Cindy for future stays.
