“This is an absolutely fantastic choice for a dog-sitter, in my mind. Leslie was loving, caring and she treated Frances, my terrier-dachshund with the closest and kindest attention—plenty of walks, balanced diet, happy human company to sleep with when she desired, and various places to rest—so Leslie passed those all those important measures.She also sent me photographs with comments fairly often, which delighted me and made me know that Frances was safe and happy! But then, of Great value was the fact that she always could find positive human companionship—her cousin came, and let Frances and another dog, sleep on his knee, looking utterly content, her roommate really liked Frances and showed it, and Leslie did too. AND there was always her dog, and then occasionally a neighbor’s dog or another client’s dog visiting for a number of hours. That was Heaven for Frances, and just what I was hoping for. A place where Frances could be, as Leslie put it, a member of a pack. NOT a large, in any way overwhelming pack, but a small pack, consisting of one or two or conceivably three other dogs, which she could be with. THAT and the essential human warmth which was very much present—was all I could dream of—and Leslie provided it. Thank you so, so much. I will definitely use her services again! About: I have taken care of my own dog since I was young, and since her passing I have routinely dogsit for friends and family. My childhood right-paw-man was a Beagle mix, and so I love to handle hounds who sniff first & think later (as well as distract them with Pupperoni…). I took care of her in her old age, so I have some experience in dropping medicine on the floor and pretending it’s a delectable morsel so dogs devour it! I also have handled plenty of bark-happy dogs, and like to bring treats on all my walks to incentivize more calmer adventures. I am currently in a partly asynchronous grad school program, and I’d love to spend my very flexible time taking healthy (and frequent) breaks from studying to care for your pet! I’m excited to adapt to fur-parents’ homes and needs! I’m comfortable crating pets, supervising outdoor time in fenced yards, and being attentive to your pets’ body language while inside their home.

There's extra dog beds, bowls and plenty of toys etc.. around for them. When we're out walking, I pay special attention to the surroundings to watch out for other dogs that are off of their leashes roaming, bike riders etc... You can let me know if there are activities they especially enjoy...walks, playing catch, afternoon naps etc...and I'll take care of the rest. If your pet has exibited reactivity issues during walking or other activities, I'll keep an eye out for it and keep other pets at a distance so there are no problems. Many pets who visit are endlessly entertained by all of the action at the park directly across the street. They spend time sitting at the front window watching everything that passes by, There's no need for your pup to be crate or cage trained but it's fine if they are. One of the absolute great features here are the various ramps we have leading inside and outside for pets that are older or have mobility issues. I've had many dogs, cats and others at all different energy and age levels throughout my life including beagles, pitbulls, poodles, cats and many others. I'll care for yours the same as if they were my own, giving them the attention they deserve so they don't experience any anxiety. They'll be allowed to hang out pretty much all over the house, including sitting on the couch if you allow it. About: I am currently only accepting hypoallergenic dogs for boarding and doggy daycare! These include but are not limited to: Bichon, Poodles (or any doodle), Yorkies, Maltese, and Schnauzer. I own two dogs, one is a young Miniature Goldendoodle that I have had since she was a couple of months old, and the other is a senior Toy Poodle that I have had since she was 5 years old. I have 10 years of experience caring for animals and always research how to best care for the animal in question. I have 2 years of experience with professional pet sitting. My yard is unfenced; however, we do have a chicken-wire fence in the backyard for my own dog, who has plenty of space to run around and play. We have lots of toys for your fur baby, and a kind and playful dog to keep your fur baby company. I can crate small dogs, but do not have large enough crates for large or medium dogs. If caring for your pet at your home, I can ensure your fur baby gets lots of playtime and walks.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little girl - and I have also grown up around pets my entire life! I believe my love for animals shows in the type of care giver I would be to your furry family. From puppies, to senior dogs, I have what it takes to adapt to each animal and care for their needs. We only take one dog at a time to insure your lovely pup gets the attention they deserve. We only accept dogs that are fully house trained. Accidents happen, but please do not send your dog over if they already have urinary or digestive problems. Please understand that we only accept fully vaccinated dogs to protect the health of our resident dog. Before booking with us for the first time, we recommend a meet n greet to ensure a good fit. I work from home and my schedule is pretty flexible. Potty breaks in the yard available throughout the day. Two walks a day with my dog and park visits on weekends. All interactions between dogs will be monitored. When I’m not around I will keep them separate in the first three days until I am confident that they get along. Food will be provided separately and toys will not be left around.

About: Non-Smoker, car owner, long time dog parent. Available for exotic pets (lizards, snakes, tarantulas) when instructions are provided. House is single story with a fenced yard. My experience comes from the two 2 dogs I raised consecutively (now at peace). First was a small poodle named Zack raised from 5 years to a ripe 15. Then Boo, a terribly spoiled poodle bichon mix I’ve raised since puppyhood (see pictures). This has given me experience in all stages of life, including specialized knowledge in small dogs that require accommodations due to disability or age. Previous work experience at ASPCA for dogs and animals of all sizes. I work from home on my own schedule, so I am available at most times and hours, for both long term and short term. For walking as a solo service, I prefer daylight hours. Message anytime, but please call between 10am-6pm. I'm available for both boarding and house sitting. For house sitting, I would typically water plants as well, take in newspapers and packages, etc. I typically leave things as they are or better than I found them. My own house isn't very busy, so it's easy for me to notice if a pet needs extra attention or playtime, or if they're trying to get into something they shouldn't. Stairs aren't an issue. The glass screen door lets them watch the neighborhood as I sit. Fenced yard, clean house, nearby dog parks, and a safe quiet area. In the fenced yard, we have a stone patio and a garden of roses, hydrangeas, and a butterfly bush. A smaller metal fence guards the more sensitive plants. There's a "rest area" for pets that need frequent breaks. The clovers are growing back at the moment.

I also keep my bookings intentionally limited so each cat receives steady, thoughtful care. Whether your cat needs quiet companionship, playtime, or medication, I make sure every visit feels consistent and reassuring for both you and your cat. My primary service is caring for cats in their own home, where many feel safest and most relaxed. I follow your instructions closely, from feeding and medication to doors, windows, lights, and entry routines. I know how much trust it takes to leave your cat and home in someone else’s care, so I treat both with great respect and attention.
