About: I've had cats and dogs my entire life and, for the first time, find myself without any pets. I have an abundance of ear scratches, belly rubs, and snuggles just waiting for pets who are missing their people. My husband and I both work from home with flexible schedules so are available for frequent potty breaks, walks, and playtime. We also have two children, 8 and 11, who both grew up with dogs and cats and are experienced and comfortable with both. Your pet will be the only one in our home, so they will get lots of attention, playtime, and snuggles! We have a big house that pets are free to explore and where they can make themselves at home. We also have an unfenced 3-acre backyard that connects to a path through the woods - your dog can enjoy a daily hike through the forest, smelling the many interesting smells and splashing in the creek if so desired. And we live on a cul-de-sac in a residential area perfect for safe neighborhood walks. If you are looking for someone who loves dogs and is responsible and loving to take care of your pups when you're not around, please reach out! Please note: 1. All dogs must be fully potty trained, neutered or spayed, vaccinated, and on flea and tick preventative. All pets must be comfortable with children. 2. Drop off time: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Pick up time: 7:30 am to 9:00 pm 3. Things to bring: a. Bed or blanket or crate, whichever your pet prefers. b. Food and treats, along with feeding instructions. “Jessica was able to sit for us on short notice and took care of our fur babies during the holiday season. She was flexible, able to administer medicine and spent time playing with our cats to help de-stress them while we were away.”
About: I will be happy to take care of your dog/dogs. My family and me have a lot of experience in doing so since we have our own dog, and often do dog sitting for our friends. I am studying online, and my parents work online full time. We have a lot of time and desire to make your dog’s stay with us comfortable. We are available at any time. I live in a big house with my family. We have a fenced backyard. We also have a super friendly Shetland Sheepdog, who will keep your fur baby company. We also live close to a huge park.
“Pilar is awesome! She is great at communicating and left a very detailed report of her time with our puppy after each visit. She is also great at being patient with our puppy. We are definitely hoping to book with Pilar again!”

“It's very evident that Jina enjoys caring for animals. She was wonderful with my 4 cats. She sent pictures, notes and my cats seemed to love having her there. She also keep me up on the food, water and scooping the litter. She played with my cats and used the wand that they love. I will definitely use her again. She's terrific!”

“I’ve booked with Jennifer twice and she was always been easy to work with and my senior cat enjoys when she comes to visit. She sends lots of pictures with each check in and is very considerate.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was around 16, helping my friend take care of their dog when they needed to go on vacation and whenever I would visit. Additionally, I’ve taken care of my sister’s dog for extended periods of time. I’m currently on winter break from college, so I’ll be here for about 3-4 more weeks. So for the time being, I should be available about every day except for Sunday. I have a fenced yard and large home. I can care for a pet in just about any place around my home at almost all times.

About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of hands-on experience with a wide range of animals-from tiny hamsters to senior rescue dogs. I've volunteered at shelters, cared for all kinds of pets since I was five, and currently dote on my 16-year-old mixed-breed pup. I understand how hard it is to trust someone with your furry family, so I make it my mission to treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attentiveness I give my own. Big or small, shy or spunky-every pet is family to me. I’m currently available for weekend bookings only and offer care in your home to keep your pet comfortable in their own space. I’m unable to host pets at my place due to my senior dogs needs, but I’m more than happy to come to you and provide loving, dependable care whenever your pet feels more at ease. Your pets safety and your homes privacy are my top priorities. I respect every space I enter and care for your pet with the same caution I give my own. I understand how personal it is to welcome someone into your home, I take that responsibility very seriously, always reliable, transparent, and treat pets and people with kindness.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I can remember. From house sitting, to walking them, to even taking care of my own dog. I’ve worked with different breeds and ages, and I love them all! I stay at home mostly throughout the week, and I’ve been wanting to get out a couple of times, and this would be the perfect opportunity to take care of your dogs in walking, or dropping by to play! I live in an apartment complex, so I would have to go to where you are to walk/play with your dog, or I could take them to a dog park!

About: I own two dogs, one is a young Miniature Goldendoodle that I have had since she was a couple of months old, and the other is a senior Toy Poodle that I have had since she was 5 years old. I have 10 years of experience with animals and always research how to best care for the animal in question. I have 2 years of experience with professional pet sitting. I am currently a student living at home, so I have plenty of time to care for pets, especially since I care for my own. I am available most of the week, every week. My yard is unfenced; however, we do have a chicken-wire fence in the backyard for my own dog, who has plenty of space to run around and play. We have lots of toys for your fur baby, and a kind and playful dog to keep your fur baby company. I can crate small dogs, but do not have large enough crates for large or medium dogs. If caring for your pet at your home, I can ensure your fur baby gets lots of playtime and walks.
“I have a two-year-old German Shepherd. Lauren did a drop-in, and she did an amazing job. She kept me updated the whole time she was taking care of Vader. I'm very protective of my dog, and I have never left him with a stranger before, but he liked Lauren immediately.”

“Susan has been absolutely fantastic as a dog walker! She is reliable, punctual, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. My dog immediately felt comfortable with her, which gave me great peace of mind. She always provides updates after walks and goes the extra mile to make sure my dog is happy and well cared for.”

“She took care of my Kitties last minute, and one of them I adopted a week ago and they weren't quite on hospitable terms yet. She allowed them to interact gently while being ready to separate in case of throwing paws. She also followed special feeding directions for my elderly cat who needs stuff mixed in and her pate in an extra soupy mash.”

“We were very satisfied with Don. He dropped in everyday to feed our doggies and let them out to do their business. He was very reliable and would send pictures. We highly recommend him.”

“Cecilia was great ! very responsive and committed, she genuinely cared about taking good care of our cat, and my shy cat warmed up to her. Would definitely recommend and book her services again when needed.”

“Sara went above and beyond taking care of things while we were gone(animals, mail, dehumidifier). I’m sure our animals are going to miss her special treats and attention now that we are home. We will absolutely be asking her to help with the animals in the future!”

“Mia was so great! Our cats loved her and were always so excited to see her while we were away. We were celebrating the life of my mother so it gave us comfort to know our pets were in great care since all of us were gone at the same time. Mia was excellent with communication and updates and the photos she captured and sent were adorable! We’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for genuine pet care”

Darnestown cat parents share their Rover experiences
My kitty was happy and content with Lingshan’s visits every morning for two weeks. This was a big relief because she wouldn’t come out when Lingshan first came over to meet her! I also appreciated the photos Lingshan shared with me every day. The next time I go away, I hope Lingshan will come over again, although I will have to make sure that I’m more clear on how the litter boxes must be cleaned every day.

Isabella was wonderful with my kitties! This was my first time using Rover, and i was nervous because i usually have a family member care for my cats when i go out of town, but this year i sort of had a last minute cancelation with family and had no one else to turn to. I decided to check out Rover, and i found Isabella. We were not able to meet prior to me leaving town, but she assured me she would care for my cats while i was away. Isabella is very good! She came each morning and evening as we agreed and stayed in communication with me! My cats loved her...even one of my babies that i just new would hide, came out for her 😊 That right there shows me how good she is! Isabella is responsible and definitely an animal lover ❤️ I will definitely use her again and also refer anyone I know that is in need of a sitter, to Isabella!! THANK YOU SO MUCH ISABELLA!!
