A Decade of Pet Care
I loved growing up with a dog so much, so after college I joined Rover and started pet sitting + walking. I gained 10 years experience (walking, boarding, and sitting) through apps like Rover, Wag!, and Trusted Housesitters, and connections. I I am always around animals whether at home with my one eyed dog or at a pet sit + drop in. I am comfortable with most dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for them. When I have a sit or drop in, I will dedicate my time to loving and supporting them. I would love to support their routine and activities, where they can get plenty of pets, affirmations, play time, and any necessary medication, while you're away. I have experience with administering injections, oral meds (pills + liquid), diapers, and specific conditions like early IVDD, seizures, anxiety, no teeth, one eye, and hip dysplasia. I've looked after puppies to seniors, and breeds like english/french/american bulldogs, labs, dachshund, mini poodle, cavapoo, pit mixes, boston terriers, newfoundland, and irish wolfhound to name a few.

That means preparation prior to bookings, taking notes on their needs + care, asking necessary questions, maintaining their daily routines, respecting your personal spaces, and offering clear communication + updates through your preferred method. My goal is to support your pet's well-being as well as your peace of mind. I understand the trust it requires to allow another to take care of your pet + home.

This was our first time leaving our anxious puppy with a housesitter. Shannon was wonderful! She is so in tune to all things 'dog' and truly put our minds at ease. She was meticulous with his care and schedule, and so warm and affectionate. And our house was perfect. We highly recommend Shannon and can't wait to have her here again!

Schedule
I'm currently a pet sitter full-time, so I can offer my complete attention to the care of your animal(s). My availability is updated often for sits and drop-ins. I'm very comfortable with short and long term sits after pet sitting across Europe last year.
