About: I have always had a love for animals, specifically dogs as I grew up with them. I also have been working seasonally/part-time at a doggy daycare for the past 3 years so I am used to caring for all different types of breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. I have volunteered at dog shelters and organizations in the past so I am also well established in knowing how to handle dogs that may not be as socialized as others. I am a recent college graduate looking for a full time job so I have plenty of time to care for pets! I am available on a daily basis for however long is needed, whether that be drop in visit's or house sitting for various periods of time. In the client's homes, I will ensure that the animal(s) basic needs are met (food, water, etc.) while also spending plenty of time engaging with the pet(s). This would look different for each animal, depending on if the pet needs more exercise or just somebody to cuddle with! About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs and cats all my life. Friends and family have trusted me to help take care of their pets whenever they might be away or just need extra help. I love all animals and always do whatever to keep them healthy and happy I currently own my own detailing business, so I am available to set my own hours of work and when I have availability to care for pets. Mornings and evenings/nights are the most available times for me, but mid day if I have a break or if I know ahead of time enough to clear my schedule is also available. About: For as long as I've remembered I've been around animals. I grew up with a yorkie named Paco and shortly after turning 5 I had the chance to help raise my next dog, a shih tzu named Pebbles who we got when she was 11 weeks old. I often cared for them by taking them on walks, giving them baths, feeding them, and overall giving them love and entertainment. In 2019 my family decided to get another dog after Paco passed away. This time we settled on a golden retriever, Terra. Now that I was older I was able to take full responsibility for her. I taught her all the tricks she knows. I'd take her out to swim and walk around the neighborhood. I'd even hand feed her and Pebbles when they would be super picky about their food. I'd also take care of my neighbors cat when she was away on vacation as well as feed the stray cat that often visited my backyard. Aside from cats and dogs I've had many other pets such as birds, hamsters, rabbits, turtles and more. Animals are a very important aspect in my life. My desire to care and love them is extremely strong. I currently have a flexible, mostly remote 9-to-5 job. Because I work from home, my daily routine revolves comfortably around pet care. I love taking breaks between my meetings to give pets some fresh air, a quick walk, or just a good scratch behind the ears. Before work, after work, and throughout the weekends, my schedule is wide open for longer adventures and dedicated playtime. Safety and open communication are my top priorities. When I am visiting or staying at a client's house, my goal is to keep the pet's routine as normal as possible so they feel secure. I always double check that doors, gates, and harnesses are completely secure before and after walks. I am highly respectful of the client's space and make sure to leave the home exactly as I found it. Because my daily schedule is very flexible, I can easily adapt to specific feeding routines or supervision needs. I also love sending plenty of photo updates so owners always have peace of mind!
