About: Non-Smoker, car owner, long time dog parent. Available for exotic pets (lizards, snakes, tarantulas) when instructions are provided. House is single story with a fenced yard. I’ve owned 2 dogs in my life. First was a small poodle named Zack raised from 5 years to a ripe 15. Then Boo, a terribly spoiled poodle bichon mix I’ve raised since puppyhood (see pictures). This has given me experience in all stages of life, including specialized knowledge in small dogs that require accommodations due to disability or age. Previous work experience at ASPCA for dogs and animals of all sizes. I work from home on my own schedule, so I am available at most times and hours, for both long term and short term. For walking as a solo service, I prefer daylight hours. Message anytime, but please call between 10am-6pm. I'm available for both boarding and house sitting. For house sitting, I would typically water plants as well, take in newspapers and packages, etc. I typically leave things as they are or better than I found them. My own house isn't very busy, so it's easy for me to notice if a pet needs extra attention or playtime, or if they're trying to get into something they shouldn't. Stairs aren't an issue. The glass screen door lets them watch the neighborhood as I sit. Fenced yard, clean house, nearby dog parks, and a safe quiet area. In the fenced yard, we have a stone patio and a garden of roses, hydrangeas, and a butterfly bush. A smaller metal fence guards the more sensitive plants. There's a "rest area" for pets that need frequent breaks. The clovers are growing back at the moment.

They were willing to accommodate my dogs’ feeding and potty habits, but I also trusted them to do what would work best and what fit with the household’s vibe while my dogs were their guests. Although Pepper, the male dog, is scared of everything due to his trauma of being a street dog in Oman, Pepper became comfortable with Todd in less than 10 minutes. Shannon did a fantastic job taking care of Charlotte. She took many pictures showing how well she was doing. She even noted she wasn’t eating her food initially but added some chicken broth to get her back on track. Charlotte was clearly shoot and her usual self when we picked her up for a long stay. We highly recommend Shannon because she really cares for your pet. We expect to use Shannon as our go to pet sitter.
Todd took great care of both dogs for the week. He shared plenty of pictures of them on walks and inspecting his fenced yard. Particularly appreciated him overseeing the dogs eating since we were working on one not grazing the other’s food. Todd was quick to respond to my questions. Pups were healthy and happy when picked up; wonderful time together.

Gail and Kris are truly amazing. I'm so glad I found them. I had a wedding to attend in Europe and was so worried that I didn't have someone to care for my 15lb sweet little Schnauzer, Addie, for such a long stay (11 days!) My worry is that I wouldn't find someone I could trust that would never leave her alone. Yes, I never leave her alone. I've tried but have filmed her with cameras and she does a deep soulful howl that breaks my heart. Addie makes me laugh so much, she is so, so funny and I love this little one! I have truly anthropomorphized her and so I came to the realization that I would need help. Gail and Kris have taken care of her as if she was their own. I started leaving Addie with them for short stays to make certain all was well for both the caregivers and Addie. Addie loves them! They are so conscientious about feeding her exactly as I have instructed them to. They play and cuddle with her and give her lovely walks. They constantly lookout for her wellbeing and communicate to me with short videos and gorgeous photography every little thing Addie does...her eating, running, walking, sleeping, playing...it brings such joy to both me and my husband so see the tender care Addie is receiving. I trust Gail and Kris. They are just THE BEST!
Chash took wonderful care of Tori! She was so communicative, sent great updates, and was incredibly patient and understanding even when Tori had an accident. Tori especially adored her daughter and became her little shadow the entire time. Tori had the best time—when I went to pick her up, she didn't even want to leave to go home! I had complete peace of mind while away. We will definitely rebook in the future. Highly recommend!
