About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 15. I absolutely adore animals of all kinds. I would love and care of them as if they were my own fur baby. As a cottage baker, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for throughout the week. Since I currently can’t have pets in my own home full-time, I genuinely love using my free time to spend time with furry friends! Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm companion during the day, I’m happy to fit their routine into my schedule and give them lots of love and attention. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. There were a couple unexpected surprises along the way - one major one which we also did not expect while away - and that was gardeners in the back yard…which Mindy wasn’t very happy with - but Michael swooped in and dealt with it as well as he could, and remained professional. From the pictures, Mindy seemed to enjoy their time together. We would invite Michael back again!”

About: I have owned dogs pretty much my whole life with just a gap right now as I don't have the space to responsibly have such a family member. I do know how to take care of a variety of things when it comes to animals as I used to volunteer in a shelter a few years ago. I've also cared for a variety of pets and am comfortable doing so with familiarity. For my previous experience, I have mainly worked retail for the past 5+ years while mixing in some volunteer work at the aforementioned shelter and a public library. I just recently moved to Charlottesville last August so I am still exploring the town. One thing I don't particularly care for with apartment living is that there isn't enough space to have a canine companion, hence why I am looking on here to hopefully still interact with some cute pups! I do currently work full-time, and most of my free time is in the evenings and early mornings. I'm fairly open on weekends, though and even on holidays (if I'm off work). I will only be able to go to a client's home, just for the well-being and safety of my own little girls. But, I'd treat you little (and not so little) ones like my own (who are spoilt brats). Whether that's walkies or cleaning up messes, playtime or administrating meds, they'd be loved for the short time that I would be able to spend with them.

About: Hi there! I love animals and have been dog sitting since 2012! I myself have owned dogs growing up and adopted a cat named Albus in 2014! I also have experience with fish, bunnies, chickens, geckos, chameleons, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and frogs! I previously volunteered at a local zoo putting together meals for animals so I had plenty of experience with meal prep and feedings, even with live food. About: With over 15 years of being a dog mom and volunteering for dog rescues, there is little I have not/cannot do for your pup. I am able to administer meds, at least two daily walks, ample play time and lots of belly rubs. Experienced in effective humane dog training. I am currently on a hybrid schedule. I work from home 2-3 days a week, but I work 5 min from home and come home for furry family potty breaks. I do not work weekends. I have a fenced in backyard. I have two dogs that are vaccinated, house trained and crate trained. Dogs get ample human interaction and lots of walks.

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has always shared my home with at least one dog. Caring for pets has been second nature to me since childhood, and I truly enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality. From 2019–2022, I worked seasonally at a dog daycare/boarding/grooming facility, where I cared for dogs of all sizes and ages with a wide range of needs. My experience includes supervising group play with up to 15 dogs, maintaining clean and safe play areas, and providing attentive, individualized care. Lately, I have enjoyed spending time walking dogs (off Rover) and volunteering at the Fairfax Humane Society. Communication is crucial, especially when it comes to your furry family member, so I enjoy keeping pet parents updated with photos, messages, and honest check-ins to build trust and peace of mind while you’re away. I’m endlessly curious and love learning more about animals, and I’ll treat your pet like one of my own, keeping them safe, happy, and loved every step of the way! I am currently employed full-time at a nonprofit association in DC, but I work from home on Monday's and Friday's. This allows those days to be more flexible. I would love to have a furry companion on my walks after work or during my lunch break on M/F. Since I am unable to have a pet in my apartment (though I desperately want one), I look forward to spending time with yours as if they were my own.
