“Another trip and Lindsey took care of our girls. She gives great updates and goes above and beyond for us. Even went to the store to try and find a probiotic my cat needs. We will forever use Lindsey l .”

“Alison did a fantastic job. Detailed reports with pictures, and was very punctual. Our dog seemed so happy during their drop-ins. Will definitely be using Alison's services in the future!”

“This is the second time we have had Quincy watch our pets and just like last time we had complete confidence that our animals were safe and cared for with Quincy ! Absolutely will rebook!”

“Anne has watched my two Labradors three times now, and every experience has been outstanding! One of my pups requires multiple medications, and the other has high anxiety, but Anne consistently handles their needs with care and expertise. She is incredibly responsive, providing regular updates and pictures that always make me smile. Having Anne stay at my house is always stress-free—she is trustworthy, respectful, and left everything in perfect condition. I can’t recommend Anne enough for anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter!”

“Michael was prompt and responsive and took great care of Mindy, adjusting to her needs. There were a couple unexpected surprises along the way - one major one which we also did not expect while away - and that was gardeners in the back yard…which Mindy wasn’t very happy with - but Michael swooped in and dealt with it as well as he could, and remained professional. From the pictures, Mindy seemed to enjoy their time together. We would invite Michael back again!”

“Kateland was excellent in taking care of our cat for the week while we were out on vacation. She would send plenty of pictures and descriptions of her visits and was very kind!”

About: I currently have an open schedule and can come walk and play with your dogs and cats as early or as late as you would like! I am flexible. I've just moved to Vienna, live alone, and have an open schedule. I am flexible and reliable, and would love to play with and care for your dogs and cats! I took care of up to 5 cats and 1 human, simultaneously, for 14 years. They received a lot of my love and attention. We spent lots of time in nature trails, our backyard, and on the couch. And now I'm happy to extend that to your dogs!
“Our puppy loves Devora!! She is communicative, prompt, reliable, and we know that our puppy is in good hands. She initiated a meet-and-greet before we booked and we could tell she was a good fit right away. She takes Nala on long walks, plays, and sends lots of cute picture updates. We are so lucky to have her watch our pup!”

About: I adopted my cat, Marshmallow, in 2018. Although I don't have a dog of my own, I also love dogs and have experience walking and dog sitting small and medium sized dogs (dog-reactive). I work from home most Fridays, which gives me the flexibility to watch or walk your dog, or to drop in and visit your cat. I generally keep my cat separate from doggy daycare dogs via a tall pet gate, unless they demonstrate that they are calm and non-reactive around each other. I don't have experience yet with dogs over 40lbs, but would be happy to meet and take care of any smaller or medium sized dogs, or cats! I work from home most week days, so I can take care of your dog or cat while home! I would just need a day or so advance notice to make sure I don't schedule on a day I'm not working from home. I don't have a car, so I mostly rely on public transit or ride share, or, if needed, zip car or rentals I have a condo with two bedrooms, and a living room. I would separate my cat from your pet unless they get along (in which case they could socialize but supervised). I would walk your dog or play with your cat at intervals throughout my day, as my schedule tends to be pretty flexible when working from home. And I can feed your pet(s) on whatever schedule they require.
About: I have more experience caring for cats than dogs, since I own two 6-year-old cats myself and have cared for them for years. I’m experienced with feeding, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and administering both oral and topical medications. I have also taken care of dogs and cats for family friends, including medium-sized and older dogs such as German Shepherds. My responsibilities have included walking, feeding, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and understand the importance of patience, attention, and making pets feel safe in their routine. I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s specific needs and following any instructions regarding medications, schedules, or behaviors. As a university student on summer break, my daytime schedule is completely open and flexible for walks and drop-in visits. Because I commute to my university nearby, I will remain in the area year-round and can transition to flexible part-time care once the school year begins. My overnight availability varies, so please message me directly to check specific night dates! I am an experienced pet owner with two cats of my own, and I confidently care for both dogs and cats. I know how stressful it is to leave your pets, so I love sending frequent photo and text updates to keep you connected. I strictly follow your pet's feeding and exercise routines to ensure they stay safe, happy, and comfortable.
About: With over 15 years of being a dog mom and volunteering for dog rescues, there is little I have not/cannot do for your pup. I am able to administer meds, at least two daily walks, ample play time and lots of belly rubs. Experienced in effective humane dog training. I am currently on a hybrid schedule. I work from home 2-3 days a week, but I work 5 min from home and come home for furry family potty breaks. I do not work weekends. I have a fenced in backyard. I have two dogs that are vaccinated, house trained and crate trained. Dogs get ample human interaction and lots of walks.
About: Hi there! I love animals and have been dog sitting since 2012! I myself have owned dogs growing up and adopted a cat named Albus in 2014! I also have experience with fish, bunnies, chickens, geckos, chameleons, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and frogs! I previously volunteered at a local zoo putting together meals for animals so I had plenty of experience with meal prep and feedings, even with live food. If you are not seeing availability for what you need please message me! Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to do a formal interview! I work weekdays between 8 and 5. I am free after work on most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and after 7pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. House sitting may be limited to the weekend depending on my work schedule. I may have some flexibility with advanced notice, please feel free to message me if you aren’t seeing availability for what you need. Most of my availability will be during weekends at any time of day. I love playing with animals and will happily keep them entertained! I also will give plenty of pets and affection if you pet enjoys that! I have worked with many dogs and cats of all ages and levels of energy and can accommodate accordingly! I love snapping photos (if ok’d) of your pets to share with you!
About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has always shared my home with at least one dog. Caring for pets has been second nature to me since childhood, and I truly enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality. From 2019–2022, I worked seasonally at a dog daycare/boarding/grooming facility, where I cared for dogs of all sizes and ages with a wide range of needs. My experience includes supervising group play with up to 15 dogs, maintaining clean and safe play areas, and providing attentive, individualized care. Lately, I have enjoyed spending time walking dogs (off Rover) and volunteering at the Fairfax Humane Society. Communication is crucial, especially when it comes to your furry family member, so I enjoy keeping pet parents updated with photos, messages, and honest check-ins to build trust and peace of mind while you’re away. I’m endlessly curious and love learning more about animals, and I’ll treat your pet like one of my own, keeping them safe, happy, and loved every step of the way! I am currently employed full-time at a nonprofit association in DC, but I work from home on Monday's and Friday's. This allows those days to be more flexible. I would love to have a furry companion on my walks after work or during my lunch break on M/F. Since I am unable to have a pet in my apartment (though I desperately want one), I look forward to spending time with yours as if they were my own. I will treat you, your home, and your fur baby with respect and compassion.
“Jennifer was great watching our 3 cats over a long weekend! She was very easy to get in touch with, responded quickly, was very responsible and reliable, sent great updates and photos and of course took great care of our cats and got to know all of their personalities. She even got our very shy girl to come out when she came for her visits! We will be using her again for future trips!”

“Shanelle was FANTASTIC! She sent me plenty of pictures from her visits, followed my funky feeding schedule and diets for my doggies and even called me when she thought they may have had a taste of something they shouldn’t have. I would highly recommend and will use again!”

I trust you in my house and w my boy :)

Virginia was great with our two cats while we were away for our wedding, it was great to have peace of mind that they were in good hands. She very clearly loves cats and treated them with so much respect from their very first meeting!
