“She was exactly who we needed to care for our finicky sweet cat. Abby communicated with us every time she visited with photos and videos of our kitty. She updated us on our kitty’s patterns and eating habits and learned when she wanted attention and when she needed a little space (so important for cats!). She was flexible with needing to find supplies in the house like trash bags when we didn’t leave enough out. Our cat clearly loved having her there and warmed up to her quickly. Bubs is usually visibly stressed after we are gone even with care but this time she was happy and relaxed when we got back. Abby was really the perfect cat sitter for us!!”

About: I adopted my cat Albus as a kitten in 2014 when he was found in a box on the side of the road. He was dehydrated and covered in bugs. After getting him to the vet and nursing him back to health, he loves staying close by! He is about 12 years old and is now losing his eyesight but is still so playful. After caring for Albus I decided to extend my help to other cat parents in 2023 after settling in Virginia. I have experience with feeding, administering oral medications, playtime, and liter box cleaning whether it’s a drop in or overnight stay.

About: Since I was five,I grew up with pets and having the responsibility of taking care of their basic and emotional needs to the best of my ability. I'm currently in college and many of the classes I take are online so most of the time I am at home caring for my cat sage! I’m so glad to be able to spend much of my time at home since I get to spend a lot of time with sage! About: I have owned big ,small and any where in between kind dogs all my life. I Have never went longer then a few months at a time with out having some type of fur baby in my life, whether it be my personal, family or friends pet that I immediately adopted as my own. I currently own two medium sized beagles who love everyone, big and small dogs alike and they love to play as they are still young and ready to destroy any toy they get a hold of. I work split shifts during the day so my personal dogs and the dogs I care for have me for mid day walks and check ins and are let out every 4-6 hours during the work week, I strive to keep a safe environment that the dog feels welcomed and cared for. I keep the house the way I left it or in better shape and make sure things are locked up and secured when I depart. I make a point to keep in touch with my clients, send photos and truly enjoy my time with your pet.
About: Even though this is my first time using this site; I am ready to accept this new challenge. A little about myself is, I love animals! I work a nurse schedule so I have the freedom of being able to share my free time spending them with your lovely furr friends. I am a cat person as well as a dog person. I am very patient and caring to all. I have great time management skills so I can efficiently get everything any dog owner needs me to do at a reasonable time frame. I will treat each and every dog with lots of love and attention as if they were my own !! I am very social so I will definitely love to play endlessly with any dog I take care of. I am very excited and eager to start this new adventure in my life ! I am currently working three times a week. This gives me the liberty to provide any dog or cat services on my days off !! What I provide is a safe environment that is appropriate to each pet. I would care for each pet the same way as if they were my own. With the up-most love and care.
About: As a stay at home spouse, I am very vigilant and attentive with my furry companion; I enjoy petting and giving lots of attention to any dog. I dont mind snuggles and doggy kisses. I'm sweet but disciplinary when need-be. I enjoy grooming( I brush hair) and talking to dogs. I give treats and am mindful of eating schedules and diets. I walk dogs as much as I can. I do take pictures and update on dogs happiness. However, I can only sit small and medium dogs. I can walk or check-in really early in the mornings or late at night. I can be flexible! Available for walks and check ins throughout the day every day depending on availability due to medical appointments but will notify ahead of time. Best times are early in the morning and late at night and weekends mostly afternoon/evening and super early mornings. No answer at this time. Willing to negotiate conditions. Both their home and their yard are well-tended - no hazards for dogs like wires, broken boards, etc. They were also flexible in terms of dropoff/pickup times, as well as accommodating reasonable requests for toys, treats, and food options. They also allowed a friend of mine and their dog (who recommended me to Helena and Nathan) to stop by for a short playdate. Great experience and will book again!”

Of course, I always supervise interactions to make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy. Before your booking, you can share your dog’s routine and preferences so I can provide the best possible care. I only accept one guest dog at a time for weekend boarding, allowing me to give your pup my full attention in a calm, low-stress environment. Since I work from home on Mondays, you’re welcome to pick up your dog on Monday if that’s more convenient. I also work from home two days a week, which allows me to offer doggy daycare on those days. Your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. Your dog will have plenty of opportunities for exercise, play, and fresh air during their stay. My apartment community has a fenced dog park, and there are beautiful walking trails nearby for regular walks and outdoor adventures. I also have a private balcony where dogs can relax with me and enjoy some fresh air while always being safely supervised. My goal is to provide a fun, safe, and comfortable environment where your pup feels right at home.
“Nicole was wonderful! Her updates were thoughtful, informative, and really reassuring. I always appreciated knowing how Banks was doing and what he was up to. He had such a great time with lots of play, little adventures, and enrichment. Banks can be a bit anxious, and Nicole was so patient and kind in helping him feel comfortable and settle in. He also loved spending time with little miss Harper. I can’t recommend Nicole enough. It’s clear she truly cares, and we’re so grateful for the great care she gave Banks.
