About: I’ve had pets my whole life (dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, hamsters, fish!) and have spent time volunteering at shelters and even fostering dogs when I was in high school. “She was exactly who we needed to care for our finicky sweet cat. Abby communicated with us every time she visited with photos and videos of our kitty. She updated us on our kitty’s patterns and eating habits and learned when she wanted attention and when she needed a little space (so important for cats!). She was flexible with needing to find supplies in the house like trash bags when we didn’t leave enough out. Our cat clearly loved having her there and warmed up to her quickly. About: With over 15 years of being a dog mom and volunteering for dog rescues, there is little I have not/cannot do for your pup. I am able to administer meds, at least two daily walks, ample play time and lots of belly rubs. Experienced in effective humane dog training. I am currently on a hybrid schedule. I work from home 2-3 days a week, but I work 5 min from home and come home for furry family potty breaks. I do not work weekends. I have a fenced in backyard. I have two dogs that are vaccinated, house trained and crate trained. Dogs get ample human interaction and lots of walks.
About: I adopted my cat Albus as a kitten in 2014 when he was found in a box on the side of the road. He was dehydrated and covered in bugs. After getting him to the vet and nursing him back to health, he loves staying close by! He is about 12 years old and is now losing his eyesight but is still so playful. After caring for Albus I decided to extend my help to other cat parents in 2023 after settling in Virginia. About: Since I was five,I grew up with pets and having the responsibility of taking care of their basic and emotional needs to the best of my ability. I'm currently in college and many of the classes I take are online so most of the time I am at home caring for my cat sage! I’m so glad to be able to spend much of my time at home since I get to spend a lot of time with sage! I have a pet friendly house meaning everything in my apartment is safe and secure for the fur babies to run around and play. About: I have owned big ,small and any where in between kind dogs all my life. I Have never went longer then a few months at a time with out having some type of fur baby in my life, whether it be my personal, family or friends pet that I immediately adopted as my own. I currently own two medium sized beagles who love everyone, big and small dogs alike and they love to play as they are still young and ready to destroy any toy they get a hold of. I have watched cats, dogs, and small animals be it reptiles or small fluffy animals and I cant forget to mention birds. My favorite of course is Dogs and I would love the opportunity to watch your dog and have them play with my pups so they all can have fun and tire each other out. My beagle boys love to go on walks and play tug- a -war. I work split shifts during the day so my personal dogs and the dogs I care for have me for mid day walks and check ins and are let out every 4-6 hours during the work week, I strive to keep a safe environment that the dog feels welcomed and cared for. I keep the house the way I left it or in better shape and make sure things are locked up and secured when I depart. Family friends and neighbors have always reached out to me about watching or walking their furry friend :) Currently, I am available weekdays from 10am to 6pm. I love to play with younger animals but am happy just snuggling and pampering our senior furry friends. I typically work from home and have a very flexible schedule. It's unusual for me to be unavailable for more than 2 hours. I live alone and enjoy pet or house sitting to keep things interesting! I live in an extremely pet friendly neighborhood with a fenced dog park just outside. I can take your dogs on long walks and/or to the dog park for supervised play. Cats would enjoy the panoramic views from my top floor apartment! All pets are allowed here. I also have a house with a fenced deck and can keep your pets there if you prefer. My senior dog and other family members are there but all get along well with other animals. I am also happy to pack a bag and stay at your place or just pop in to check on your fur babies. I will provide regular photos and updates!
