About: I once said something to a friend about how my cat was just communicating his boundaries when it came to our new kitten, and they laughed and said that was the most gen-z thing they had heard in awhile. I love my cats deeply, and really enjoy spending time with other people's cats as well. I don't have a lot of expertise in administering medication, other than flea and tick topicals (which is a two-person job in our household). I do have a wide variety of cat toys and strive to give my cats enough daily enrichment to keep them fulfilled and happy, and I scoop both cats' litter boxes daily. About: I adopted my cat Albus as a kitten in 2014 when he was found in a box on the side of the road. He was dehydrated and covered in bugs. After getting him to the vet and nursing him back to health, he loves staying close by! He is about 12 years old and is now losing his eyesight but is still so playful. After caring for Albus I decided to extend my help to other cat parents in 2023 after settling in Virginia. Trusting your most precious pet with a stranger can be difficult but she was assuring, communicative, kept me updated and I really felt my senior dog with many needs felt comfortable and safe in her care. Many other dog care options have many dogs of mixed sizes and activity levels in large areas where they can play and be very active. But a small, more fragile dog really needs a particular place where they can be safe and comfortable, so Devora’s home really was a perfect fit for this niche that put my mind at ease and allowed my dog to have a stable space he could relax without anxiety at the times we weren’t able to take him along with us. Other responsibilities would be feedings and making sure water and litter is sufficient. I am in a nice community where I can offer walking, doggy parks, and if needed just a simple place where my furry friend can chill and vibe. I care for all my clients animals as if they were my own.
