“This is the second time Trent watched my old dog and my wife's two cats. Trent is easy to work with on scheduling and has earned my trust. My dog is older, needs some meds, and is a little slow on the walk so trust is important. We unintentionally threw a curve ball at him this time. When making a new key I decided to go with a dog shaped key. It worked, but not well, and came apart inside the lock when Trent tried to use it. He contacted me and exhibited patience as I walked him through how to break into my home. BTW, we upgraded to a lock with a keypad and the ability to unlock remotely.”

About: Hello! I'm Valentina! I have experience caring for pets of different ages and needs, including my 10 year old cat and my sister’s 4 year old dog. Most recently, I cared for a Giant Schnauzer puppy right through his crazy growth spurt, from the day he came home at 3 months old all the way until he was 7 months old! Working with a high energy, big pup takes a lot of patience, consistency, and structure, so I kept him on a solid daily routine with twice a day walks to burn off that puppy energy and practice good leash manners. I’m also a very active person and genuinely enjoy being outdoors, walking, and staying on the move, so I love being able to bring that energy and enthusiasm into caring for pets. I have a flexible schedule and I’m generally available for walks and drop-in visits in the morning from 7:30 to 9:30 AM and in the afternoon from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. I’m happy to be flexible and work around your pet’s routine whenever possible. A little advance notice is always appreciated so I can plan my day and make sure I can give your pup the time, care, and attention they deserve. I love caring for pets in their own homes, where they can stay comfortable and stick to their familiar routine. I find that pets tend to feel more relaxed and at ease in their own space, especially when their owners are away. I’m happy to follow their normal routine, whether that includes feeding, walks, playtime, or any special instructions, and I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and care while you’re away.

About: I am detail oriented and love to play with pups. If a schedule is provided, I will follow it as directed. I can walk, feed, and take pets out to potty. Your pet(s) will always be under my watch. Additionally there is someone home at all times in case I do need to step out. I also offer after hours/overnight potty breaks if needed, as late as 3am and as early as 7:30am. I also speak Spanish. Ni is amazing and super thorough with all the visits! She sent us plenty of pictures, including pictures of tasks being completed so you get a peace of mind. She is very patient and so good with all of them, our cats loved her, including our skittish girl. We have 3 cats and some of the instructions are not as straightforward but Ni followed them perfectly! Will definitely book her again for our future trips ☺️

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
