“I can't say enough good things about Karen! From the start she was so responsive and answered all my questions about her approach. I was really nervous as I was headed out of the country for over a week and my dog can be very finicky and shy in new places. She let me know how he was settling in with her and the other dogs she was watching, and gave updates and photos at least once a day. My dog often refuses to eat when stressed, but at Karen's he was happily eating his meals from the start, which for me was the biggest sign he was feeling good. He spent the rest of the trip snuggling next to her and bringing her toys so they could play. I love that she only takes small dogs and is very mindful of making sure they are all coexisting peacefully, including always separating each dog at meal time. I will definitely be using Karen again!”

Leo can be picky about rain, lazy when it’s hot, and a little particular about his eating (clean dish every time!), but John handled everything so wonderfully. He made sure Leo got his walks (adjusting for weather!), gave him all the love, and kept us constantly updated with sweet photos and notes that really gave us peace of mind while we traveled. About: Over the past 20 years, I’ve had three dogs, a Pomeranian, an Akita, and a Yorkshire Terrier. Each one had a different personality, but they were all very attached to me. None of them went to a training school, but they were all well-behaved. I trained them myself before they turned one year old. I currently live in a clean, quiet, pet-free home. There are no pets living in the house at this time, so visiting dogs will not have to share the space with other animals or adjust to another pet’s presence or scent. I only accept small dogs up to 20 lbs and prefer low-shedding breeds. My home provides a calm, clean, and comfortable environment where dogs can feel safe and relaxed during their stay. I’m home most of the day, so your dog will rarely be left alone. Big park around the house. Like walk and play with dog. Small dogs need lots of attention and one-on-one care, which is why I only host one dog at a time. I follow each owner’s feeding routine and do not give dogs any human food. Small dogs can have sensitive stomachs, so I believe consistency is important. My goal is to provide a quiet, comfortable, clean, and healthy environment where every dog can feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for.

About: I've pet sit for my friends dogs and have raised a corgi puppy from 10 weeks old! I love dogs and will treat yours like mine. I have a playful and friendly corgi who plays well with all dogs. Plus I give excellent scratches. I will send a bunch of photos, as long as you don’t mind me spamming you with them! We do at least 3 walks a day, dog parks after work, and fun adventures on the weekends. Normally we eat breakfast around 8:30, go for a potty walk, and play. During the weekday, I take them out every 4 hours and do mental puzzles at home. If the weather is nice, we will go to a nearby dog park. On weekends, we tend to go out for outdoor adventures if the weather is nice I live in an apartment with ample walking nearby. Super dog friendly neighborhood. We have space to set up crates if needed. I am a neat person and will clean up after myself and the dogs.

I have recently needed some extra joy in my life and what a better way to find it then to love on your animals! I work from home and have plenty of time in the mornings and evenings to drop in on your pets! I also have time most afternoons for lunch break drop ins. I am happy to provide anything your pet may need in your home! I don’t offer boarding in my own home at this time, but may in the future.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Leo! John was absolutely amazing — from the very start he was super responsive and so kind. Leo can be picky about rain, lazy when it’s hot, and a little particular about his eating (clean dish every time!), but John handled everything so wonderfully. He made sure Leo got his walks (adjusting for weather!), gave him all the love, and kept us constantly updated with sweet photos and notes that really gave us peace of mind while we traveled. Coming home to such a happy and relaxed pup says it all. Truly grateful for the care, attention, and thoughtfulness John showed. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to love their pup like family!”
