“Barb, The Relief Every Pet Owner Needs Over the years, I grew increasingly scared to leave my 3 cats in a stranger's care. If needed I always drove them to my parents but it became clear that the roadtrip stressed them out more than if I had just left them at home and had a stranger come by the house. As a 1st time Rover user, Barb was a perfect find! She made the whole process unbelievably breezy. She very punctual to the meet and greet she set up the same day I sent my request. I ran her through the cat's litter and feeding schedule and already felt good about her. Immediately after this meet and greet, she sent me a screenshot of the notes she took afterwards which were notes on the food/water/litter instructions we had discussed for the brief meet. This really sealed it for me; not only did Barb exhibit great memory recall but also great attention to detail which is certainly needed in pet care. I had Barb check in twice a day for my 3 cats for a total of 9 days. She is very punctual to the times discussed and an expert with sending photos of furry loved ones to ease anxieties. She also made sure I was made aware of any event that occurred immediately in the Rover Card for that very check-in time. When responding to her or asking her questions she was quick and attentive with her responses. One of my cats loves to escape and is a bit of a "queen of the house" type of cat so she gets a bit protective of "her home" and after giving Barb some tips and tricks in what we do, my cat became calmer and more accepting of Barb as more check-ins occurred. They grew closer towards the end which is a testament of Barb's personality and care qualities. My other 2 cats are shy ones so there was a worry that we wouldn't be able to confirm if they were eating or not. But eventually Barb's calm and gentle presence coaxed them out enough to be spotted for a food grab or a hydration stop every now and then. Overall, having Barb as a first time Rover sitter and first time pet sitter was a perfect match and I feel lucky to have had her watching over my pets.”

About: We have always been around with dogs and have genuine love for them. We have a beagle mix (TOTO) and he loves running and playing with other dogs! We also have experience taking care of dogs and cats for our friends. Except for running basic errands, we will be home with your pets almost 24/7. I’m currently working fully remotely from home and my husband’s work schedule is also flexible, so we will spend a lot of time with your pups! Our day starts around 8AM and we do a 30-min walk then breakfast. We have a fenced backyard and your dogs will have free access to it. We offer playtime throughout the day as well. Around 6PM we have another walk for about 40 min and then dinner. Around 11PM we do another bathroom break before bed. 1. Daily Routine -We can feed according to your schedule and dietary instructions. -We usually do two long walks (30-45 min) per day and let our dog go out to backyard a couple times or whenever he wants to. So we will make sure your pet(s) have two (or more if needed) walks and let them have regular potty breaks in backyard throughout the day. 2. Exercise & Enrichment -Feel free to bring your own toys and we will also offer toys and play games with your pets. -Our dog loves playing with dogs too and he’s full of energy so I’m sure your pups won’t get bored! 3. Safe Environment -We have a fenced backyard to let your dogs run and explore! -We have multiple rooms so we can separate dogs if needed.

On weekends, we tend to go out for outdoor adventures if the weather is nice I live in an apartment with ample walking nearby. Super dog friendly neighborhood. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for almost a decade. Fun, loving pet sitter with experience with cats and dogs with different diets and medical needs. About: Hi! I love, love, love dogs and enjoy quality time with them in any way, especially walking on trails out on a nature path. My family dog Jennie is a beagle, shephard, hound mix who has lots of puppy energy but also comes with high anxiety due to her shelter past. I have cared for family dogs since I was 6 and have experience house sitting, walking, bathing and driving dogs around for appointments. I am a rising college junior home with a lot of time on my hands until mid June to help out in any way you need all days of the week and weekends. I have a ton of availability and flexibility to help out with any dog or cat needs of yours! Currently, I am flexible all times of days and weekends but will transition into afternoon/night care only starting June 15th I am used to caring for energetic as well as calm/mellow pets and will make sure to devote my attention while I am present to pet, play, walk, or run with your dog. I live in a safe and quiet neighborhood and also have a fenced in backyard to play with your dog if a designated place to go is needed!

So, I’m very comfortable with walking, feeding, playing, and bathing different types of dogs. I’m currently studying for the bar exam, so I’m looking for study break opportunities! About: I've had 2 dogs in the family for 10+ years now and understand the challenges of wanting the best exercise for your best friend while being very busy. Aside from that, I've had/have bunnies, birds and a cat and am expert in cat body language, bird calls and bunny thumps - so you can say I'm multi-lingual and very safety-conscientious (: Please never hesitate to ask me questions or for any updates on your baby - I'm always ready to send a quick text back or send pictures! I also want to say that i'm down to care for almost any pet - cats, dogs, bunnies, birds, rats, etc. 🥰 My only exceptions would be anything venomous or feeding live/dead feed (bugs, rats to snakes). My best times to walk are during lunchtime (12-2) or after work hours (past 5PM). I can also pet sit/drop in on your pets at anytime. ☺️ My pets get daily enrichment with an abundance of toys that get switched out pretty often. I'm also researching/watching videos on how to better take care of our friends! For dog walking, it'll depend on your preference - I'm flexible.
About: Throughout the years, I have cared for puppies, adults, and elderly dogs in my community, learning to love their unique personalities and interests. I had two dogs growing up who were rescued and rehabilitated out of scary situations, giving me extensive experience and the skills necessary to work with those that have been rescued and/or traumatized in their pasts. I love getting to know dogs and learning to support them in whichever ways necessary. I work in-person on weekdays, but my schedule is pretty flexible. I am available for overnights, mornings, afternoons, and nights— I’ll need to step out of the house for work and will be able to stop by periodically during the day for walk/potty breaks. When caring for pets in their home environment, I prioritize their comfort. I meticulously follow pet parents’ instructions, ensuring safety and well-being, while keeping pets engaged and entertained, and staying attuned to your pet’s emotional needs and cues.
