About: I have pet sat for my neighbors since I was 15 years old, professionally so for a collective 8 years. (from childhood to today totalling 21 years) I grew up with at least one dog in my parents household, loved both our family dogs through their senior years and beyond. I am pet cpr/ first aide certified, currently own a 9 year old Grey Domestic short hair cat, Thor, and my 28 year old horse, Riley. I am looking to head back to school for veterinary medicine with focus on large animal sports medicine/orthopedics. Eventually mixed practice too. In the horse world, I have 33 years under my belt, with my godmother introducing me at age 3. I am passionate about pet care, large and small. Most experience with cats, dogs, and horses and looking to expand. From the toy breeds of canine, to the extra large goofs, I enjoy caring for your loved ones as if they were my own. Shy guys? No problem! I take my time letting them get to know me without offense. Need a little extra help on training homework from your professional training team? Walk me through and I am more than happy to continue with their routine. I'm a softie for seniors. Looking forward to meeting you all and your pets! Available for walks, pop ins now! Currently in the process of signing up to renew my pet cpr and first aid certification. And I hope to start vet med prerequisites online at NoVA Community College. The later I am able to balance with all the attention on your pets. My neighborhood is nearby Scott's Run, Great Falls Park and Riverbend Park here in McLean and Geat Falls, Virginia. If ok with pet parents, I can take them for a walk (one at a time) during in home boarding. We don't have a fenced yard but our neighborhood offers plenty of walk routes. At client's home, I try to keep our walks with in the neighborhood and no socializing due to safety, even if your pup knows a neighbor's pup.

About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs and children. While living in Colorado, I worked as a dog walker and nanny for families with large dogs and young children. Most of the dogs I cared for were medium to large breeds, and my experience ranges from puppies to senior dogs. Since moving to the DC area, I have continued working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I also live with a cat at home, so I am comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available during weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting visits. At this time I am not able to host pets in my home, but I have reliable transportation and am happy to travel for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I have a flexible schedule during the week and on weekends, allowing me to accommodate consistent routines as well as last-minute or varying pet care needs. At this time I do not have the space to accommodate pets in my house, but I have transportation to do drop-ins and house calls.

About: I own two cats and regularly take care of my dad‘s dog teddy when he is at work And I take great joy in doing so. I recently graduated from high school and I’m currently between jobs and college so I am available most of the day this may change in the coming months I will make sure anything required for your pet for walks or check-in will be met so they are happy and healthy. About: I’ve been surrounded my dogs and cats my whole life. Typically I pet sit for friends. The pets I’ve watched are mainly dogs and cats but I’ve also done reptiles, guinea pigs, rabbits, etc. I had my own dog for 1 year and a half. We loved outdoor walks, hikes with couch snuggles mixed in. Most common breeds of dogs are Retriever, Pitbull and German Shepherds. Currently have open availability for any day of the week and any time! Open to extended stays and any length of time needed to watch. I’m not able to have pets in my home but I can come to yours and know plenty of parks in the DMV area.

About: Growing up, we had almost as many dogs as we did kids in the house. My parents were huge pet people, so I guess they just passed it down to me as well however, even as a child, I always had a love of animals. There were many times that I brought home birdies with broken wings, or tried to sneak frog in the house without my mom noticing. My love for animals only grew the older I got but also my education. Being able to work directly under licensed veterinarians, gave me the opportunity to understand treatment plans for minor and major issues that animals can face. I was given the opportunity to work with newborn animals along with those that require senior care. I’ve also had the pleasure of taking care of animals that are expecting and helping to bring new life into the world. It was during this time, but many friends and neighbors took the opportunity to ask me to watch their animals. Anytime they went on vacation or maybe just had to take a long business trip. Even when an animal is in their home, having a new person around can still sometimes be nerve-racking. But I take pride in knowing that I’m able to make sure they feel comfortable and loved even when their parents are away. I work from home teaching English as a second language. This allows me a very flexible schedule throughout the week. I have open availability Monday through Friday. I’m also able to help out on the weekends depending on the timing. However, I’m willing to be flexible. Traveling as an adult with pets can sometimes be difficult. I remember being stressed over whether or not I’ve picked the right boarding facility, or worrying that they would have too many differences in their day-to-day routine while I was away. Pets deserve to feel just as loved and cared for even when moms and dads need a vacation. I would love to be able to provide both you owners and your pets with a sense of trust and security.

I will be there 24/7 with your dog to play and tend to there needs. Plenty of walks!
