“We utilized Kevin’s services for the first time during my outpatient surgery for a drop in visit. He inspires trust, which is extremely important on a day like that. He followed all arrangements well & kept us apprised. We certainly hope to hire him again!”

“Juliana is an awesome human being who is good with dogs. She dropped in and checked on my dogs this afternoon and kept me updated. My dogs looked very happy in the photos she sent (which tells you something).”

“It is pleasure working with Lingshan. She is punctual, responds promptly, keeps me updated of the visits and is very reliable. I also appreciated extra time that she spent with my Golden. She is of great help when I am away at work.”

“Sharon was very thorough and communicative. One of my cats needs meds at a certain time every day and she was right on time each day she was watching them. I will definitely work with her again!”

“Sophia was prompt and followed all instructions! Our cats seemed to like her and she was very gentle with them. When we had an issue with our door not opening she was responsive and went back a second time to make sure our girls were cared for. We will be using her services again. Thank you Sophia!”

“Jana was my first experience with a rover sitter and I could not be more happy about it! She was really communicative about everything. She made a checklist for everything she needed to do for each visit and was really prepared. She also sent photo updates of my kitties and let me know every time she was with them. Jana also went above and beyond and made the kittens a toy for them to enjoy (so sweet!!) which really shows how much she cared about my kitties [and animals in general!] She took time to play with them and give them attention :) Jana made me feel so much better about having left my cats alone for a few days and I would book her again and I definitely recommend her services!”

“We came back and used Teffni again for our cats when we went out of town and she did a terrific job as always! In addition to checking on food, water, and litter, she made time to get the two cats (who don't always get along) to play and engage. She also checked our home for potential issues/messes during the visits, was communicative with us via text, and took some great visit pictures to share with us. We'll be reaching out for future pet needs for sure.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and I have been relied on by neighbors and friends to watch, walk, and feed their pets as well I am available everyday, and open to many hours. About: Ive grown up with dogs since I was 4 years old and had independently trained them on my own. I’m a BIG animal lover cats AND dogs of all sorts. Any pet sitting/walking endeavors you seek I am more than happy to help out especially with the current season of summer travelling In currently on summer break from college with full access to a car. Tues-Thurs I am occupied with online summer classes that last from 6:30 pm - 8:45pm but any time before or after I am fully happy to help out I train clear boundaries within the home (no wandering in the kitchen) and remain all food items and tools off the floor. I also keep various toys such as Kongs and puzzles to keep my dog stimulated indoors. I’m also pretty active myself so most of the time I like to go on walks
“Abigail is fantastic! My cat loves her and feels very comfortable around her. She updated us with detailed info and pics everyday. Thanks Abigail, you’re Fiona’s favorite person now :)”

Julianna was fantastic! She went above and beyond over a holiday weekend, making sure our two cats were not only fed, but played with and cared for. She sent us wonderful pictures and detailed updates, and made us feel completely at ease about being away from the kitties.

Alexander did an amazing job checking in on our cat during a recent trip. Our cat is shy and can have accidents from anxiety when we’re away and Alexander handled it all with patience and respect. He got our girl to warm up to him with play and she was a very happy cat when we returned. I would definitely recommend his services.

Nicole cared for my 2 cats while I was away. It was the first time in many years that I’d traveled without them, and Nicole was patient with all of us. She arrived on time, sent pictures, and answered my questions quickly about if they were eating, etc. We have some finicky old doors that can be tricky to open/lock, but Nicole managed everything perfectly. I will choose her again!

Carolina is amazing! Multiple photos and videos were sent during each visit, which was incredibly reassuring. During their time caring for my cats, Carolina was even able to get my very shy cat to come out and play. I would highly recommend Carolina to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter!

Ilana was great with our two cats! She visited our house twice a day while we were away and made sure our cats were well taken care of. She followed all of our care directions and was flexible when needed. We appreciated her help and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lone Oak. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
