Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and following each pet’s routine closely. I carefully follow all feeding instructions, medication guidelines (if applicable), and household preferences. For cats, I make sure litter boxes are kept clean, food and water are refreshed as instructed, and pets receive appropriate interaction based on their personality such as playtime, affection, or quiet companionship. For dog walking, I only walk dogs who are comfortable on leash and not aggressive or highly reactive. I use secure leashes and harnesses as provided, stay alert to surroundings, and avoid situations that could be stressful or unsafe. I respect clients’ homes, double-check doors and locks, and communicate clearly with updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pet and home are in good hands.
Information Clara K. would like to know about your pet
I appreciate knowing feeding schedules, litter or walking routines, temperament, medical needs, and any quirks. It’s also helpful to know how pets handle new people and what helps them feel most comfortable.
A typical day
For cats, this might include playtime with toys, brushing if they enjoy it, or just quietly sitting with them. For dogs, I focus on calm, safe walks and positive interaction. I adjust activities to each pet’s energy level and preferences.

Reviews
She is very sweet and reliable. I will definitely knock on her door for the next time!

Clara did an excellent job caring for my seven year old kitty Bonnie. I came home to a happy and well fed cat. Thanks so much Clara and I will definitely call upon you to care for Bonnie in the future!
Clara is a fantastic pet sitter. She's watched my nervous cat on numerous occasions and she makes my cat so comfortable, she comes out of her shell within hours (rare for my cat!). Clara is super kind and patient with her, I really couldn't recommend Clara enough!
