Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and following each pet’s routine closely. I carefully follow all feeding instructions, medication guidelines (if applicable), and household preferences. For cats, I make sure litter boxes are kept clean, food and water are refreshed as instructed, and pets receive appropriate interaction based on their personality such as playtime, affection, or quiet companionship. For dog walking, I only walk dogs who are comfortable on leash and not aggressive or highly reactive. I use secure leashes and harnesses as provided, stay alert to surroundings, and avoid situations that could be stressful or unsafe. I respect clients’ homes, double-check doors and locks, and communicate clearly with updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pet and home are in good hands.

Clara is a fantastic pet sitter. She's watched my nervous cat on numerous occasions and she makes my cat so comfortable, she comes out of her shell within hours (rare for my cat!). Clara is super kind and patient with her, I really couldn't recommend Clara enough!

Schedule
For cat sitting and drop-in visits, I’m flexible during weekdays and weekends and can accommodate morning and evening visits as needed. For dog walking, I make sure each walk is calm, safe, and unhurried.
