I was curious to see how Bianca's cat would be with my dog. At the meet & greet they calmly sized each other up. During the stay Bianca shared a lovely photo of my dog snuggled on her sofa with her cat on the armrest. Nice, mellow companions. I was thoroughly comfortable leaving my dog in Bianca's care and will absolutely do so again when I go out of town and can't bring my dog with me.”

About: I’ve cared for many of my own dogs & dogs of friends, gf’s, etc. since the late 1980s. I’m a long time dog owner and dog lover, who is also a professional and former small business owner - who is mature, responsible, and serious. On the professional side, I have a combination of organizational/business management and basic sales/marketing & customer service training. I own a single family home with a large yard. My “main job” is in tech and I work from home nearly every day. I’m minutes away from a large park as well. The pets (and people) under my care receive a lot of loving attention in a safe, higher end neighborhood. I have a fenced yard backing up to a very serene, wooded/natural setting with tons of trees. If needed, my home has specific crates/cages and multiple rooms, depending on what the circumstances require. However, usually most pets are allowed to roam freely throughout most of the house and yard, as long as they do not conflict with or disrupt others.

About: I have taken care of dogs (during the day and overnight stays) ranging from 6 months to over two years. In addition to my pet sitting experiences, I have volunteered at two humane societies and specialized with the dogs. Before interacting with the dogs at the humane societies, I completed 22.5 hours of formal training, background security checks, and the Fear Free Shelter Program Core Modules. About: I grew up on a farm in Baltimore County, so you could say I'm comfortable around many different kinds of animals. We always had dogs and cats growing up. Last year, my sweet 14-year-old Maltese passed away and I have been missing dog (and cat) interaction since. She needed bi-weekly allergy shots, which I administered.
