“My dog Tako was extremely well taken care of and I got frequent updates. Shanilka was very easy to communicate with and she was very flexible as my travel plans changed due to the weather. I will absolutely be using her again if I ever need!”

“Very great communication and sent a lot of pictures while I was away! Made my girls feel at home and the family was incredibly nice/hospitable. Did not worry at all leaving my girls in their care!”

“Great experience leaving Oliver with their family. The two of them were conscientious and considerate about understanding Oliver's needs and ensuring that I felt comfortable leaving him in their care while I was out of town. I wouldn't hesitate to leave Oliver with them again!”

“Thanks for taking such good care of our Romeo! He loved your home so much that he didn't want to leave! Thanks for sending all the adorable photos and updates, too. I hated to be away from our little fur ball, but at least had the piece of mind that he was living the good life in your home. ❤️”

“Bianca is fabulous. She is kind, loving, competent, caring. She was attentive to my tiny, anxious, elderly dog's needs. Bianca adjusted and adapted what I'd shared with her so that it worked in her home, e.g., my dog wouldn't eat with the same set-up as I use so Bianca tried out different ways until my dog finally ate. I was curious to see how Bianca's cat would be with my dog. At the meet & greet they calmly sized each other up. During the stay Bianca shared a lovely photo of my dog snuggled on her sofa with her cat on the armrest. Nice, mellow companions. I was thoroughly comfortable leaving my dog in Bianca's care and will absolutely do so again when I go out of town and can't bring my dog with me.”

“What’ a wonderful experience. Oreo had a great time and was treated like a prince. Not sure he wanted to come home!! :) really appreciated all the communication and care. Will definitely rebook in the future.”

“Sonia was fantastic with Murray and was extremely warm and understanding throughout his stay. She also sent the best dog-sitting pictures of anyone we've booked with and it shows how much she cares.”

“Cindy was absolutely amazing with our dogs! From the moment we met her, we felt like our pups were in good hands. She sent us lots of pictures and updates which we loved! It was clear they were not only well cared for, but also happy and loved. Knowing they were safe, comfortable, and getting lots of attention made such a difference for us. We’re so grateful we found Cindy and wouldn’t hesitate to book again!”

“Our boy Theo spent a week with David and his family and had a great time! It was so reassuring to us while we were overseas to know that Theo was getting all the love he requires. We loved getting daily (p) updates. David is a great dog sitter.”

“Elena was diligent in sending daily updates on how Ollie was doing throughout his stay in her home. She was flexible when I needed to alter the dates booked. Ollie's needs were met and his demeanor showed me that he was comfortable with her and her home. I would be happy to have her care for Ollie again in the future.”

“Lucy and I had a great experience with Evan and his wife! This was my first time using Rover, and I was a little nervous, but Evan sent me updates with pictures frequently, giving me peace of mind that Lucy was in good hands! I highly recommend Evan for dog sitting and will definitely book him again!”

“Andrea and Michael were wonderful hosts for our two dogs! Our lab is a bit introverted but they made her feel right at home and both dogs were very happy in the photos they sent and when we came for pickup. We had a last minute adjustment on our drop off time and they were wonderfully accommodating. I’m so grateful that they took such good care of our sweet girls!”

“Anastasiia is fantastic! She made sure my anxious dog a very nice sleepover!! She was very kind and caring and understanding of all my dog's needs. She even let Claudette take the best spot on the couch! Highly recommend!!”

“George was extremely responsive and sent frequent updates and pictures. He was also very flexible. Atticus had aa fantastic stay and appeared really well cared for! Will definitely book again.”

“Fran is wonderful and I felt at ease with her checking in on my cats. She made their treat time more exciting/stimulating by adding toys to a treat maze and always tries to engage my shy kitties. I appreciate that she takes notes and asks good questions about care preferences.”

“Carolina was very communicative and the kitties absolutely loved her. We enjoyed the pictures and updates after each visit. We highly recommend her as a cat sitter!”

“This is our second time using Mark and he is just fantastic! Our two cats are very comfortable with him and he gives great updates with lots of photos, always willing to go the extra mile without even asking, and just a really kind and reliable person overall. We look forward to continuing to use him in the future!”

“Julianna was wonderful! She was very responsive to all my messages, and took great care of Darcy while I was away. 10/10, would definitely trust her to catsit again. 😊”

“Sharon was amazing. She was very consistent and thorough and always sent a lot of pics. I would definitely recommend her and will be using her again in the future!”

“Jana was my first experience with a rover sitter and I could not be more happy about it! She was really communicative about everything. She made a checklist for everything she needed to do for each visit and was really prepared. She also sent photo updates of my kitties and let me know every time she was with them. Jana also went above and beyond and made the kittens a toy for them to enjoy (so sweet!!) which really shows how much she cared about my kitties [and animals in general!] She took time to play with them and give them attention :) Jana made me feel so much better about having left my cats alone for a few days and I would book her again and I definitely recommend her services!”

“Abigail was absolutely phenomenal watching our cats! She was extremely attentive and had great communication with us while we were away. She went above and beyond and helped clean messes our cats made while we were away. I would happily have her watch our cats again!”

“As always Teffni is an amazing pet sitter, all three of our cats love her and we know she truly understands their individual quirks and needs. We loved receiving her updates and photos—it gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Once again, we came home to three relaxed, happy, and well-cared-for boys. We’re so grateful for Teffni and will absolutely keep booking with her. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Our cat Angus is not overly affectionate but he took to Nuha immediately. He jumped up in her lap and let her pet him. Nuha was very diligent in the daily drop ins with feeding and litter box care. I unhesitatingly recommend Nuha and will request her in the future. Nuha was also good at problem solving as we omitted to tell her the trick to opening the front door which requires a jiggle of the key!”

“Julianna did a great job keeping us informed of how our kitty was doing during our five days away from home, always sending pictures and giving us updates on how the kitty was handling our absence. We recommend her highly.”

“Drew was amazing taking care of our cat. He is very passionate and very responsive . He is very detailed oriented and keeps good records of his visits. We will definitely reach out to him to take care of Forest in future.”

“Courtney did a great job watching our cat, Milah! Courtney stopped by for a meet and greet prior to our trip and sent us updates with pictures every day. We felt that Milah was in good hands. Thank you, Courtney!”

“My fiancé & I made the decision to get a puppy together, with the fact that he was working from home due to the pandemic. Recently he's started going back into the office 2-3x a wk, and our puppy (Bingsoo) is now only 6months. She is still in the process of being house broken and is in need to be crated while we aren't home. 8hrs+ in a crate is not ideal for a puppy, and we would always be rushing home during our lunch break + after work to let her out. I started looking into puppy daycare and came across Sasha's profile on Rover. I cannot express how thankful we are for Sasha. Our Bingsoo was more than excited to rush into daycare the first day I dropped her off. She whined on our way home after daycare, wanting to stay longer. I love how flexible they are with the drop-off & pick-up times. They are always understanding if we are running late, and are always accommodating. My fiancé and I were a bit nervous about Bingsoo's first day, and so we truly loved the updates and cute photos of our pup throughout her days at daycare. Bingsoo has been excited & happy to go back after our first day, so I am confident to say that she loves it at daycare. I have recommended Sasha to my little sister, who also recently got a new puppy, and would highly recommend Sasha to any other pet-parent who is looking for a place for their fur-babies to stay. You can tell a lot by a dog's behavior, especially when it comes to boarding/daycare/grooming, and our Bingsoo's behavior states that she has a ton of fun with people who are loving and kind towards her during her stay.”

“Shanilka was super responsive and understanding of my dog's needs!! She was very kind and prompt with pick up and drop off so I didn't have to wait long in the cold. Highly recommend!!”

About: I’ve cared for many of my own dogs & dogs of friends, gf’s, etc. since the late 1980s. I’m a long time dog owner and dog lover, who is also a professional and former small business owner - who is mature, responsible, and serious. On the professional side, I have a combination of organizational/business management and basic sales/marketing & customer service training. I own a single family home with a large yard. My “main job” is in tech and I work from home nearly every day. I’m minutes away from a large park as well. The pets (and people) under my care receive a lot of loving attention in a safe, higher end neighborhood. I have a fenced yard backing up to a very serene, wooded/natural setting with tons of trees. If needed, my home has specific crates/cages and multiple rooms, depending on what the circumstances require. However, usually most pets are allowed to roam freely throughout most of the house and yard, as long as they do not conflict with or disrupt others.
“Elena was really great with my dog! I’ve used her a few times now and my dog is super excited to be there and comes back to me super happy having had a great day with Elena!”

“Diana did an excellent job watching my dog. She asked about his likes and dislikes beforehand and was good at communicating drop-off and pick-up. She kept him entertained throughout the day with games of fetch and walks. I would definitely have her watch my dog again.”

“Chuy seemed to have a wonderful time at his evening with Oyindamola! When I picked him up he looked so happy and said goodbye to her at least 3 times. 😊 She was very kind and helped him feel comfortable when he was a little nervous at first. I highly recommend!”

“We are so thankful to have found Paul! He excepted our booking very last minute and was so accommodating. Ebony doesn’t always do well in new places, but I think he would have preferred to stay with Paul even longer! Lots of walks, lots of pictures and updates. I especially appreciate how confident Paul is with socializing Ebony with other dogs, something I am always nervous about. Will definitely use Paul as a sitter in the future!”

I know how much peace of mind matters when you’re away, so I provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication throughout your pet’s stay. My goal is simple: for your pet to have such a great time that they’re excited to come back for their next visit. I currently work from home full time and my husband and I are also generally home during the weekends as well! We have a ton of time to Pets in our home are treated like family. We follow their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks (as energy permits), playtime, medications, and any other special instructions. “My dog is very happy at Natalia's and with the company of other dogs there. She is happily going to Natalia, which is the biggest sign for me that Natalia's place is a good environment for dogs.”

About: I’m a reliable and attentive dog sitter who takes the time to understand each dog’s specific needs and routine. I have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable adjusting my approach depending on their age, energy level, and behavior. With puppies, I focus on reinforcing good habits like basic commands, potty training routines, and appropriate play. I stay consistent with whatever training style the owner prefers to help support their progress. I also have experience with senior care, including giving medications, monitoring mobility, and making sure older dogs stay comfortable and don’t overexert themselves. I pay close attention to any changes in behavior and keep owners updated. I’m patient, observant, and make sure every dog feels safe, cared for, and well looked after. I am a college student at Penn State University and am back for summer, so I’m free everyday and am flexible with timing to fit your needs. I follow each pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I stick to their feeding, walking, and care instructions while making sure the pet gets plenty of attention and exercise.
About: I’ve been fostering cats and dogs with humane rescue society for over six years. These fosters are long commitments until they are adopted. Love and attention are most important for our fluffy friends! We are WFH and work schedule is very flexible. We have plenty of time at home, offer 3-4 long walks (at least half an hour each) per day. We walk them upon dropping off and prior to picking up to make it easier and more convenient to you. We also take them to a nearby tennis court to play fetch and adjust walking based on the dog’s energy level. We set a maximum number of dogs we can host one time depending on the size, age of the dogs and how much we know about them. We may also lower the price for a less energetic or smaller dog. We have two loving cats who can be separated in a room if needed. We will spend quality time with your pets to keep them active and healthy. We will be providing food and water according to their needs and schedule, ensuring their sleeping environment is safe and cozy.
“Rene and Steph took such great care of my dog. They have two dogs who are friendly and were good companions for my pup. I will continue to rebook and highly recommend Rene and Step!”

She clearly knows dogs well and is able to expertly navigate dogs with all different needs. I will definitely book with Maria again!”

About: Family love!! We now own a Bugg (boston terrier/pug mix) named Moxie who is 4 and previously owned a rescue pug named Rosie who lived to be 15. We also have three boys (ages 5, 9, 12) who are comfortable around pets and love to play with them. My husband and I both telework so someone is home every day of the week. “Evelyn responded promptly to my request for a dog walk and she came over and met my dog and I within 48 hours. I have a rescue dog with anxiety when it comes to new people. Evelyn was so sweet and patient with her. I even had a last minute change up where I had to add another dog that Evelyn had not met (friend having a baby), and she was accommodating and happy to help. 100% recommend Evelyn!”

About: I love animals and had pets my entire life. As a trusted member of the community, I have grown up in this area and have a full-time healing business supporting people. I bring that same dedication, respect and dependable care to your pets and your home. I look forward to meeting you. I have control over my own schedule with my clients. With a small business, I can plan accordingly to care for your pets and home with dependability. I like to bring a calm, loving, assertive disposition to dogs--bonding with them beginning with good exercise. After which, I allow them to stroll at their own pace and share with them the level of attention they desire. For cats, I respect their space as they wish and am available to play or give them attention. I always look forward to giving any animal cuddles as well as respecting their space.
“Jana took wonderful care of our three rescue dogs! They each have unique personalities, and two of them are take time to warm up with new people but they each ended up loving Jana. Will definitely book again for our next trip. Thank you Jana!!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs through someone else’s boarding business, where I helped walk and supervise dogs with different personalities and routines. Now I’m excited to welcome one or two dogs into our family home to provide personalized care and make their stay a happy, safe, and joyful experience. We live in a clean single-family home in Bethesda with a spacious yard, and someone is almost always home, so your dog will receive plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and affection. I’ll follow your pet’s routine carefully and send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I am a student and I take most of my classes online. I have two kids (8 and 11 years old), and every night we go for 1-2 hours walk around the neighborhood. My mom is also lives with us and she is home most of the time. I have a fenced yard that can be easily accessed via the basement. I plan to have 1-2 dogs at a time to have a warm home atmosphere. In case we get a cat to pet seat the cat will stay upstairs, and the dogs downstairs.
About: I have had many different dogs over the years and cared for more than one dog at a time, which makes me very comfortable in caring for your fur babies and understanding their many personalities. Also, I believe socialization is very important for all dogs so if you are comfortable, I am able to take them to a dog park (I have one near my home). This will allow them to create new friends and make their experience more enjoyable. Overall, I am trying to avoid getting another pet, so if you let me care for your fur baby I would heavily appreciate it :D As you can tell from my photos I treat all pets like they are a part of my family. Rest assured your baby and I will become best friends. I am a remote worker which allows me more time to care for your babies and a lot of flexibility. I believe this would be a mutually beneficial relationship as I'd be able to enjoy my day playing with dogs, while you won't be worried about taking your dog out. If you ever need to board your dog I am available on the weekends and if you need a house sitter because it would make your fur baby more comfortable I am flexible on those dates as well. I have a multitude of toys, treats, and puzzles to keep them engaged and happy. I also have a dog park which tends to not be busy which allows for running and fetch time in a safe environment.
About: I'm the woman taking an evening walk and asking if I can say Hi! to your dog. Two dogs - one as a child, the second 35 years later - were among the most important relationships of my life. No offence to family and friends. The second was a Black Lab and taking him on his evening walk in a local park in Moscow was the best part of every day. I'm retired and walk for pleasure anyhow. I am the servant of Dasha, a rescue cat with more personality than good sense, who is willing to let me spend nights away to take care of your beloved dog or cat. Friends and family have already benefited from my "service" - and now you can too. I'm retired, with a schedule that is my own to make. I'm only looking for Rover duties in the 20814 and nearby zip codes that I can get to easily and quickly. Daily activities include daily walks and almost daily lap swimming, lots of reading, too much scrolling, and occasional editing and writing gigs. Oh, and playing with my cat Dasha. When staying over for your dog, I'd live at your place and visit Dasha for a few hours daily, as well as go out for errands and laps at the Y pool. I expect dogs to need attention and I'll give it. Though we lived in an apartment in Moscow, our Black Lab Jasper enjoyed the life of Riley, with walks at nearby parks. Most of the day he spent following us from room to room, positioning himself strategically so he always could see one of us at all times. Cats, of course, are different; I wait for Dasha to emerge from wherever she's "hiding" to let me know when she wants to be played with, brushed, petted. If this is your pet - great. If not, I'll adapt to that, too!
“We met Nicole for the first time. She's a wonderful young woman, full of positive energy and joy. Our dog Sasha immediately liked and trusted her. It's clear that Nicole has a huge heart for animals. We offered Nicole a full-year schedule right away. ~ Tom”

I’m comfortable with larger breeds and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. You can count on me to treat your dog like one of my own. I’ll provide plenty of updates, photos, and reliable care so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member!
