“5 stars!!! I am beyond grateful for the care Melissa gave my two cats, Rey and London. From the very first intro visit, it was clear how genuinely kind, attentive, and loving she is with animals. My cats are my babies, and leaving them is never easy, but she made the entire experience feel safe, calm, and reassuring. One of my cats needs daily inhaler medication, which can be stressful for both cat and sitter, and she handled it with so much patience, gentleness, and confidence. Rey also needs to get a special diet and a miralax for constipation mixed in, all of which were administered exactly as prescribed by Melissa. Knowing Rey was in such caring hands truly meant everything to me. London is a very shy cat and doesn’t trust most humans easily, so I was especially touched by how quickly he warmed up to her. It took only a couple of visits for him to feel fully comfortable around her, which says so much about her calm, respectful, and intuitive approach with animals. Melissa was incredibly reliable and thoughtful, and her updates and photos were such a comfort while I was away. I could tell she wasn’t just “checking in”... She was truly caring for them! I came home to two happy, relaxed, well-loved cats, and that speaks volumes. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets with the same love and care you would, look no further. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I can remember. From house sitting, to walking them, to even taking care of my own dog. I’ve worked with different breeds and ages, and I love them all! William did a great job. This was our first time with him, and everything went smoothly. He responded promptly to any contact, was reliable in carrying out what we asked him to do, and was very easy to work with overall. He clearly understands how to engage with cats, and established a rapport quickly with our kitty. She is an old girl, and pretty needy, so she does not handle our absence well. But William was able to connect with her and got her through it nicely. I was impressed that he was able to discern some aspects of her needs and preferences that I hadn't thought to tell him, even working with her for a relatively short time (5 days). We would absolutely request William again if the need arises and would recommend him to others without hesitation.
Yuandi did a great job taking care of my cat. My cat had to go on medication at the last minute, while I was away. Yuandi was very responsive to my new instructions and was able to give the medication without issue, which relieved a lot of stress for me. She sent lots of updates too, which I really appreciated.
Nuha made my trip so much more enjoyable by providing really great details about what she and my cat got up to. I also loved how many photos she sent. My friends who have checked in on my cat previously sometimes didn't send a single photo the whole time I was away! Using Rover and Nuha specifically was so worth it. Nuha also was very patient with me when my apartment complex door/security system had glitches. I'd 100% recommend her and hope to book with her again in the future!
Rae is truly amazing! I always struggle to leave my babies with someone whom I don’t know but Rae made that so easy. She was so patient with our cats, not only gave them food but also played and spend additional time with the cats. That really demonstrates that Rae adores pets. She is extremely easy to work with and very flexible. When we came back everything was so clean! Huge thanks!!
Ashley was an absolute gem! She was completely reliable; we never had to wonder if she’d show up or follow through. The adorable photos she sent at every visit became the little highlight of our day we’d find ourselves looking forward to. The biggest sign she was doing something right? Our cat normally wolfs down her food out of anxiety or boredom when we travel — with Ashley, she ate totally calmly and looked happy in the photos. That said it all.
