About: I’ve spent over 12 years working professionally in veterinary medicine (emergency and critical care, surgery, anesthesia, recovery, and everything in between) and I genuinely love every bit of it. Give me a nervous senior pup, a giant breed who thinks they’re a lapdog, or a dog who just needs a little extra patience, and I’m in my element. I’m comfortable giving medications, caring for senior and special-needs pets, keeping an eye out for anything that seems off, and staying calm and steady with animals who are scared or stressed. To me, making an animal feel safe is just as important as taking care of everything on the checklist. But honestly, my love for animals started long before my career did. I’ve been caring for pets for most of my life, and these days that includes my own Greater Swiss Mountain Dog — so big and giant breeds have a very special place in my heart! I’m very comfortable working around established feeding, medication, potty, and exercise schedules (if your dog expects breakfast at 7:02 AM, I understand that 7:15 is simply unacceptable 😂). I’ll always be upfront about my availability before booking so you know exactly what to expect. Safety is always my first priority. With 12 years of veterinary experience, I’m very comfortable reading animal body language, handling nervous or fearful pets, administering medications, and recognizing when something seems different from a pet’s normal behavior. I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, harnesses, feeding instructions, and any household routines you have in place. When I’m caring for pets in their own home, I want everything to feel as familiar and low-stress as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely, respect your home, and never force interaction with a pet who needs time or space. If anything concerns me while you’re away, you’ll hear from me — I’d always rather communicate too much than leave you wondering.

About: I've had pets all my life! I grew up with several cats, fish, a rabbit, and a dog, so I have experience with various animals. I've also taken care of guinea pigs for friends. I'll send photos and updates often so you can stay connected with your pet! I am at work during the day but during the week, I am usually available after 5pm. This means I can do evening visits and walks! I like to be active and really enjoy being outdoors :) During weekends, I am usually available for overnight pet sitting if that is something your pet needs! Having a new person around can be stressful, so I will do my best to make sure your pet is comfortable. When caring for a pet in an owner's house, I am very careful to maintain the state of the home. Most of the dogs I cared for were medium to large breeds, and my experience ranges from puppies to senior dogs. About: I have pet sat for my neighbors since I was 15 years old, professionally so for a collective 8 years. (from childhood to today totalling 21 years) I grew up with at least one dog in my parents household, loved both our family dogs through their senior years and beyond. I am pet cpr/ first aide certified, currently own a 9 year old Grey Domestic short hair cat, Thor, and my 28 year old horse, Riley. I am looking to head back to school for veterinary medicine with focus on large animal sports medicine/orthopedics. Eventually mixed practice too. In the horse world, I have 33 years under my belt, with my godmother introducing me at age 3. I am passionate about pet care, large and small. Most experience with cats, dogs, and horses and looking to expand. From the toy breeds of canine, to the extra large goofs, I enjoy caring for your loved ones as if they were my own. Shy guys? If ok with pet parents, I can take them for a walk (one at a time) during in home boarding. We don't have a fenced yard but our neighborhood offers plenty of walk routes. At client's home, I try to keep our walks with in the neighborhood and no socializing due to safety, even if your pup knows a neighbor's pup.

About: Ive grown up with dogs since I was 4 years old and had independently trained them on my own. I’m a BIG animal lover cats AND dogs of all sorts.
