About: I have cat sitting experience including kittens and a senior cat (15 years old). For the kittens, I had to administer oral antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection. I am no stranger to cleaning litter boxes and also safely handling cats if they do need to be picked up.

About: I’ve cared for many of my own dogs & dogs of friends, gf’s, etc. since the late 1980s. I’m a long time dog owner and dog lover, who is also a professional and former small business owner - who is mature, responsible, and serious. On the professional side, I have a combination of organizational/business management and basic sales/marketing & customer service training. I own a single family home with a large yard. My “main job” is in tech and I work from home nearly every day. I’m minutes away from a large park as well. The pets (and people) under my care receive a lot of loving attention in a safe, higher end neighborhood. I have a fenced yard backing up to a very serene, wooded/natural setting with tons of trees. If needed, my home has specific crates/cages and multiple rooms, depending on what the circumstances require. However, usually most pets are allowed to roam freely throughout most of the house and yard, as long as they do not conflict with or disrupt others.

I would welcome your dog for daycare or boarding at my home where I have both a fenced yard and a wooded area with a stream for daily walks. I take my dogs out at least three times a day. The home is a single family home with two levels and lots of space. I work primarily from home and on the days when I’m at the office, my husband works from home. I would take care of your pup on the same scheduled as my dogs unless you request a specific schedule. My dogs have the roam of the home and I have a fenced in yard and an outdoor space into the woods for leashed walks. I welcome you to bring your dog with whatever would make the dog comfortable during the stay and have plenty of space for crates, beds, dishes, etc.

(from childhood to today totalling 21 years) I grew up with at least one dog in my parents household, loved both our family dogs through their senior years and beyond. About: I’m a pre-vet student who just graduated from UVA and has grown up with two large dogs! I’ve also recently owned a hamster from a college lab! I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I also have about 100 hours of dog walking experience from a shelter so I am comfortable with reactive/fearful/energetic dogs, and another 100 from shadowing at a vet practice. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, which gives me plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and giving your dog the attention they need. I’m happy to adapt to your dog’s normal routine, whether that means long walks and lots of exercise, shorter walks, playing with their favorite toys, or just keeping them company and giving them plenty of cuddles. I’ll always follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, routines, and house rules so your dog can feel as comfortable as possible. Most importantly, I genuinely love being around dogs. My wife always jokes that dogs seem to come say hello to me before they greet her. If there’s a dog at a party, that’s usually where you’ll find me! I recently moved to Bethesda from Sweden and have a very flexible schedule as I’m settling into my new life here. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends and can easily accommodate walks, drop-ins, and different routines throughout the day. I live in an apartment in Bethesda and have plenty of great areas nearby for both long and short walks. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first. I’m happy to follow your usual routine, feeding instructions, walking preferences, and any house rules you have. I’ll also make sure you receive regular updates so you know your dog is happy and well cared for.
