“Aashna and Sidhanth were great! They’re were very responsive and accommodating when I had to adjust the schedule. They sent pictures and updates twice a day. Will definitely be using them again!”

“Evan and Megan are phenomenal. They are extremely kind hearted, loving and made me feel very comfortable. They sent continuous updates. I will definitely recommend them and will be using them in the future.”

“Thanks so much for hosting Remy during the eclipse. He had a great time and we could tell he was well cared for. And the scheduling flexibility gave us the ability to do the trip!”

“Benny loves going to Shanilka’s, and I love knowing that he is getting such great care. We are a repeat customer and will continue booking with Shanilka. We couldn’t be happier.”

“Diana was warm and kind even before I made the booking—she explained everything clearly and her gentle tone made me feel instantly at ease. On the day I dropped Brownie off, she welcomed us into her home, showed me around, and gave Brownie the chance to meet her dog. It was lovely to see how they slowly got to know each other. The environment was clean, calm, and very comfortable, which gave me peace of mind to leave Brownie in her care. While I was away on my trip, Diana sent short updates and photos everyday— just enough to reassure me that Brownie was doing well and enjoying her time. I felt completely at ease thanks to her thoughtful messages. If you’re looking for someone to care for your small dog, I highly recommend Diana!”

“Kyle was such a wonderful sitter for my pup over the long weekend! Ringo was well taken care of, socializing with his dogs, and I received daily updates and pictures. It was a wonderful, calm environment.”

“Lee Ann and her family were great! Our pup thoroughly enjoyed playing with theirs and lounging around in the lawn. Thank you so much for watching our pup last minute. Will definitely look to board again.”

“Kerstyn was absolutely amazing! She was so kind to our dog, took the time to give me updates on how he was doing each day and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable (given he has a lot of anxiety). Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would love to have our dog stay with her again. Our dog Wilson came home more happy than ever! Thanks so much Kerstyn!”

“Diana and her family took great care of our puppy while we were out of town. She sent daily updates and photos and was quick to respond to messages! We would trust Diana again with Pepper Ann if she is available!”

“We love Johanna! Millie can be a little anxious and Johanna just takes the best care of her. Johanna is also very responsive and continually sends sweet photo updates throughout Millie’s stay. We are so grateful to have found Johanna!”

“Jason and Becky are trustworthy, attentive, and easy to communicate with. Yak had a great time with them and their doggies. The pictures and videos with Yak’s smiley face Jason and Becky shared daily are the proof!”

“We had a great experience with Youyou! She took wonderful care of my dog and kept us updated with messages and photos throughout his stay. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. My dog seemed happy and comfortable, and we truly appreciate all the love and attention she gave him. We would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to other pet parents🩵”

“Christine is absolutely fabulous! She has a great house and yard for the dogs and clearly is a true dog lover. She maintains excellent contact with owners when they are away from their pets. Our dog already loves being with Christine after only three visits!”

“I needed 5 hours of dog care for my newly rescued senior Pomeranian and I’m so grateful to have found Donna. Donna provided a calm and caring environment for my dog to feel comfortable and relaxed, and they took a 20 minute walk together. Thank you so much, Donna!”

“I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Edward and Natalia. We had a meet and greet a week prior where they asked a lot of questions and observed Ralphie with their sweet pup, Liz Lemon. I always worry leaving Ralphie with a new Rover. He has been described as “extra” and needs a lot of attention/human presence. Within an hour of dropping him off, I got a note that he is settling in fine with a picture of him cozied up with the family and this eased my mind immensely. They were very responsive when I reached out and had everything ready to go when I picked him up. The biggest testament, however, is Ralphie’s behavior on the drive home. If let’s me know if he didn’t like his stay somewhere, but leaving Natalia and Edward he was calm and well behaved. They deserve this 5-star review and j would recommend them to my friends and family without hesitation.”

“Dave took great care of Penny while we were away for 10 days. Dave made the whole process very easy and was great to work with. We got daily updates with photos, and peace of mind knowing Penny was in good hands and sticking to her routine. When we picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-cared for. Dave followed the care instructions well. Reliable, communicative, and great with dogs. We’ll definitely be reaching out again for future trips and highly recommend Dave to anyone needing a trustworthy sitter!”

“Alex is the best. He was very understanding with us when our flight was delayed and Pip always comes back to us happy and relaxed after staying with Alex. We will continue to book with him as our first choice whenever he is available.”

About: I have cat sitting experience including kittens and a senior cat (15 years old). For the kittens, I had to administer oral antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection. I am no stranger to cleaning litter boxes and also safely handling cats if they do need to be picked up.
“As always Sharon took great care of my cat, sent tons of pictures, and left a very sweet note. She clearly loves animals and goes above and beyond. Thank you Sharon!!”

“Ana was fantastic! I will absolutely use her again for my two feline furbabies. I know all cat owners say their cats are particular but mine definitely are and Ana followed all the instructions I gave her. Her photos and notes were so helpful while I was gone. My cats were clearly comfortable with her right away which made being away easier. Thanks so much, Ana!”

About: My experience with cats began 10 years ago when I adopted my two babies, Icey and Roy. They are my world. My boyfriend has his own pet sitting/pet boarding business where I regularly help out. I have experience with kittens and senior cats alike. I love to provide cats with time, attention, affection, care, and play time if needed. I have experience with administering oral, ear, and eye medication. Looking forward to connecting with you and building long lasting relationships with you & your pets ☺️

“Pam took very good care of our two cats. Unfortunately our rambunctiou 10-month old kitten injured his leg (not her fault) shortly after we left for two weeks and she ended up taking him to the vet twice, administering his meds, and looking after him while he was confined to one room on vet's orders to help him heal. Through it all she was very caring and concerned and kept us fully informed on what was going on. Knowing she had trained as a vet tech reassured us that the cats were in good hands and let us enjoy the rest of our vacation.”

“Hannah was very prompt and thorough. She made sure to send notes and pics of our cats to let us know everything was going well. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Victoria and her son communicated in a very timely manner. Photos were sent every visit and if something came up they addressed it with me as well. It was nice to have them as pet sitters and recommend them! Thank you once again!”

“My kitty was happy and content with Lingshan’s visits every morning for two weeks. This was a big relief because she wouldn’t come out when Lingshan first came over to meet her! I also appreciated the photos Lingshan shared with me every day. The next time I go away, I hope Lingshan will come over again, although I will have to make sure that I’m more clear on how the litter boxes must be cleaned every day.”

“Sarah was wonderful with the cats. They got along with her really well and she was very thorough in giving us updates and photos. I will definitely be asking her to cat sit again in the future!”

About: Cats of all shapes and sizes and purrrrsonalities galore! Between working with two small pet sitter companies and my experience as a teen and on, I have enjoyed the time with clients and friends kitties. I can administer most meds, may need extra hands if a visit or client needs IV sessions at home. I currently have a 9 year old tabby, Thor, who I've had since kittenhood. He's the model for the photo here ;)
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive experience and passion for animal care. Coming from a family that has fostered dozens of elderly dogs, puppies, and kittens, I have acquired invaluable skills in handling various age groups and providing specialized care. Additionally, my background working in a veterinary hospital for over two years has honed my knowledge of emergency care and the ability to identify signs of distress. I am well-versed in administering medication, maintaining hygiene, and providing comfort to animals in need. With my comprehensive expertise and genuine love for animals, I am dedicated to ensuring their well-being and providing exceptional care as a sitter. I have taken care of pretty much every animal you can thing of as a pet, including bearded dragons, snakes, fish, iguanas, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, axolotls, parakeets, and parrots, just to name a few. I am available for dog sitting and have a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs. I work part-time 2-3 days a week, but the remaining days are completely open. I have reliable transportation and can adjust my availability to ensure your furry friend receives the care and attention they deserve. When caring for pets, whether in my home or my client's home, I prioritize their well-being and provide comprehensive care. I ensure they receive thorough exercise to keep them active and healthy. Timely feeding and constant access to fresh water are fundamental aspects of their care. Leveraging my experience from working in a veterinary hospital, I am vigilant in monitoring their health, always on the lookout for any signs of discomfort or distress. The safety and happiness of the animals in my care are of utmost importance, and I strive to create a nurturing environment where they feel loved and attended to.

“Vitality B. Is fantastic pet sitter. He's responsible, dependable, and our kitties love having him around. He sends us updates and we feel very fortunate to find him through Rover. This is our first time using an app to book a pet sitter. And this is our 3rd time having Vitali here at our home. You will have peace of mind if you hire Vitali. And your pets will love him too!!”

“10/10 would hire Elizabeth again. Elizabeth watched my shy (and occasionally jumpy) cat during a home stay. I got regular photo updates of my cat playing, eating, and living her best life while I was away. I was very impressed Elizabeth got her to interact at all! Elizabeth also took good care of my fish (I got photos of him too). I walked in to a clean, quiet house, which was a great way to come home. Moreover, Elizabeth was extremely accommodating with arrival and departure times when she absolutely didn’t have to be. After her, I’m not sure I’ll want a different house sitter.”

“Our cat Sasha loved Armanush so much she didn't want to come home! Armanush was very attentive, sent us several photos and provided updates. She took great care of our kitty while we were away. Highly recommend!”

“Diana did an excellent job watching my dog. She asked about his likes and dislikes beforehand and was good at communicating drop-off and pick-up. She kept him entertained throughout the day with games of fetch and walks. I would definitely have her watch my dog again.”

“Grayson is a big puppy who doesn’t know when to stop playing. He had the BEST time at Sasha’s house!! I know this because pictures were sent throughout the day, and when he got home at the end of the day he was totally exhausted!! There were lots of big dogs for him to play with, too. We will definitely return.”

“I recommend Loreen to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter! She made my dog extremely comfortable and was able to accommodate to our last minute time changes. I will definitely be asking her to take care of Tofu the next time I’m out of town!”

“Andy took great care of our Sadie. She's known to have a bit of a challenging personality but she adapted well in his care. He clearly has a lot of experience caring for dogs.”

About: I previously owned a wonderful dog named Ollie, who taught me just how important love, patience, and routine are when it comes to pet care. Although I no longer have a dog of my own, I miss having them around and would love the opportunity to care for yours. I am readily available to give your dog long walks, playtime, or simply lots of attention and cuddles. I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I'll always treat your pet as if they were my own. I have a fenced yard and have gates that I can put up inside the house up if need be. We usually don’t like dogs going in the basement, mainly because that’s the kids area and there are lots of small items and toys they can get into.
“We used Byamba's dog sitting services for our English Bull Terrier this weekend. Our dog, Blanca, had a wonderful time at his house while we were out to brunch with our friends. He took such great care of her in the few hours we left her with him. They went on a walk and played in the backyard! Even though she was only there for a few hours, we received multiple photos. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Blanca for us today, Byamba!!!”

About: I’ve cared for many of my own dogs & dogs of friends, gf’s, etc. since the late 1980s. I’m a long time dog owner and dog lover, who is also a professional and former small business owner - who is mature, responsible, and serious. On the professional side, I have a combination of organizational/business management and basic sales/marketing & customer service training. I own a single family home with a large yard. My “main job” is in tech and I work from home nearly every day. I’m minutes away from a large park as well. The pets (and people) under my care receive a lot of loving attention in a safe, higher end neighborhood. I have a fenced yard backing up to a very serene, wooded/natural setting with tons of trees. If needed, my home has specific crates/cages and multiple rooms, depending on what the circumstances require. However, usually most pets are allowed to roam freely throughout most of the house and yard, as long as they do not conflict with or disrupt others.
About: Hello, I’m Carrie and I love dogs! I have two dogs right now - Mattie (14) and Mavis (4) - and I’ve had at least one my entire life. I grew up around animals and love being with them and taking care of them. I first used Rover for a 2-week boarding for my dogs a few years ago and it was such a wonderful experience I thought I’d open my home for dog daycare and boarding, too. My dogs have had less than great experiences in dog boarding facilities and so I understand the desire to have a family home environment for your dog while you are away! I would welcome your dog for daycare or boarding at my home where I have both a fenced yard and a wooded area with a stream for daily walks. I take my dogs out at least three times a day. The home is a single family home with two levels and lots of space. I work primarily from home and on the days when I’m at the office, my husband works from home. I would take care of your pup on the same scheduled as my dogs unless you request a specific schedule. My dogs have the roam of the home and I have a fenced in yard and an outdoor space into the woods for leashed walks. I welcome you to bring your dog with whatever would make the dog comfortable during the stay and have plenty of space for crates, beds, dishes, etc.
“Shayla is the absolute best! She is a true professional and so warm and awesome. We are incredibly grateful to have found her. We have 2 dogs (4 years & 10mos) who both adore her. Our puppy was incredibly shy but just a couple days with Shayla and she really came out of her shell. Shayla has such a natural gift for caring for animals and her house has an awesome yard and secure setup. We let her know about our concerns about our older dog being an escape artist and she walked us through the various measures in place to ensure his safety including she has even worked on threshold manners when him so he doesn’t walk through the door until he’s told it’s okay to. She also knows just how to manage my puppy’s anxiety and doesn’t see her anxiety as a hassle but is instead so empathetic and dedicated to building her confidence. She introduced our dogs to her dogs over time and in a way that didn’t stress my puppy out. She takes them on lots of walks and they come back from day care happy and tired!”

“Lee is great! She is easy to communicate with and very responsible. My dog has visited Lee for day care several times and loves hanging out with both Lee and her dog Lucy!”

“Jonathan was wonderful with Teddy! You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure Teddy had a great walk and was comfortable along the way. He even brought a water cup for him, which was such a thoughtful touch. Jonathan was on time, dependable, and his communication was excellent. Teddy was in great hands, and I’d absolutely recommend Jonathan to anyone looking for someone caring and reliable!”

“Justin was wonderful! He sent check-in each time he walked and fed our dog Juni, and he clearly enjoyed spending time with her. We were happy to know he’s walked a few of our neighbors’ dogs too, so he was very comfortable with the neighborhood. I will definitely be hiring him again!”

I work from home twice a week, but my husband is home during the day and loves taking the pups out for walks and playtime on his breaks. We have a large fenced yard that’s great for playtime. I grew up with dogs all my life and had a Lhasa Apso and Pitbull/Akita mix as my first dogs but now have 2 cats. My boyfriend has his own pet sitting/pet boarding business where I regularly help out. Therefore, I have a flexible schedule to adjust to the times you need help with. The care I provide for the animals that I will be watching while in their house is following the same schedule routine and safety plans the owners have for their own pet. During the meet & greet I love to learn about the owners pets so I can make sure to give the same quality of care that the owners give☺️
“We met Nicole for the first time. She's a wonderful young woman, full of positive energy and joy. Our dog Sasha immediately liked and trusted her. It's clear that Nicole has a huge heart for animals. We offered Nicole a full-year schedule right away. ~ Tom”

About: I’m a pre-vet student who just graduated from UVA and has grown up with two large dogs! I’ve also recently owned a hamster from a college lab! I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I also have about 100 hours of dog walking experience from a shelter so I am comfortable with reactive/fearful/energetic dogs, and another 100 from shadowing at a vet practice. I just got a vet assistant job so usually it requires me to be away for 6 hours! I can only do all day pet sitting on Wednesdays and Sundays which I have off! I always make sure that I understand the instructions that I’m given and maintain clear communication with the owner if I have any questions. I never make any assumptions and always make sure that the owner is comfortable with any decisions that need to be made.

About: I grew up with Rottweilers and started helping my dad care for our family dog from a young age, including as he got older.

“Great stay for our dogs! Chris went above and beyond to care for our dogs. He was responsive and flexible. We are looking forward to many more bookings with him. Thank you, Christopher!”

“Isai was great to work with for my dog. Just a short stay this time but he was easy to coordinate drop off and having a friend pick Watson up at the end. I felt that Watson was in good hands.”

“Andrea and Mike were wonderful sitter for Max. Max was really happy and looked really healthy. We were happy to find them and looked forward to see them again!”

“Armanush was wonderful. She was very responsive and provided plenty of updates and pictures of the dogs. My flight was delayed and she was accommodating of a later pickup time which was much appreciated. Thank you!”

“Our Toby usually stays at a farm in Aldie, but this was our first time using Brandi, who is 3 mins away from our home. She provided us support and pics. We were so grateful, as we left our family member with her, not knowing how Toby would do. He was in good hands. We hope to use Brandi again! Thank you again Brandi for caring for our Entlebucher!”

“Rodrigo was a lifesaver on multiple occasions in just a few short days - accepting a frantic last minute booking I had when some plans fell through and being very patient and helpful dealing with unexpected travel delays on my return. Plus I could tell Watson had a great time and got along super well with the lovely Luna. I have actually already booked again as I knew Watson is in good hands. Thanks Rodrigo!!”

“Anastasiia was fantastic. She was super communicative, clearly loves dogs, and put me at ease knowing that my pup was in good hands. I'd happily rebook with her next time I need a dog sitter.”
