Unfortunately our rambunctiou 10-month old kitten injured his leg (not her fault) shortly after we left for two weeks and she ended up taking him to the vet twice, administering his meds, and looking after him while he was confined to one room on vet's orders to help him heal. Through it all she was very caring and concerned and kept us fully informed on what was going on. Knowing she had trained as a vet tech reassured us that the cats were in good hands and let us enjoy the rest of our vacation.”

About: My interest in dogs started 5 years when I became a dog musher in the winters! Then I signed up as a weekly volunteer with my local dog shelter. And I take the shelter dogs on fun field trips (hikes, parks, canoeing on the potomac- you name it)! I don't have pets of my own so my time is dedicated fully to other people's dogs and cats. About: I’ve cared for many of my own dogs & dogs of friends, gf’s, etc. since the late 1980s. I’m a long time dog owner and dog lover, who is also a professional and former small business owner - who is mature, responsible, and serious. On the professional side, I have a combination of organizational/business management and basic sales/marketing & customer service training. I own a single family home with a large yard. My “main job” is in tech and I work from home nearly every day. I’m minutes away from a large park as well. The pets (and people) under my care receive a lot of loving attention in a safe, higher end neighborhood. I have a fenced yard backing up to a very serene, wooded/natural setting with tons of trees. If needed, my home has specific crates/cages and multiple rooms, depending on what the circumstances require. However, usually most pets are allowed to roam freely throughout most of the house and yard, as long as they do not conflict with or disrupt others.

Last year, my sweet 14-year-old Maltese passed away and I have been missing dog (and cat) interaction since. She needed bi-weekly allergy shots, which I administered. That being said, I am experienced in elderly animal care and know how to administer medicine (shots as well as oral medicine). About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my commitment to providing them with the best care. I am attentive, reliable, and focused on giving your pet the attention they deserve. Whether it's walking, playing, or simply keeping them company. In addition to general pet care, I’m comfortable with senior dogs who need extra patience and care. I understand that each pet has their own personality and needs, and I strive to make sure they feel safe and happy while in my care. I often walk to the park, which give me the opportunity to interact with dogs from other neighbors or friends. I really enjoy these walks, where the dogs can socialize and explore, making me feel comfortable taking care of them in the future. Also, during our outings, I always make sure to be attentive to the needs of the dogs I meet, giving them quality time and exercise. My approach is always in an active environment, full of love and respect, and I’d love to share that with the pets. I live with my two daughters, and we’re always looking for outdoor activities. We love going to the park, where we play, run, and explore together. When I care for a pet, I make sure they enjoy these walks and have a great time. I provide a safe and comfortable space at home, with lots of attention and love, and of course, I enjoy taking them to local parks where they can socialize and burn energy. At home, they feel like part of the family since my daughters are also very affectionate with the dogs. Every day is a new adventure for us, and pets are always welcome to join in on our daily activities
