Out of my lifelong passion for animals, I bring you and your pet family 11 years of experience caring for adult cats and small dogs across 20+ different breeds, specializing in meeting their unique needs. As a pet mom to my cat Roarie Ladybug, I understand how important it is to have complete confidence in the person you trust with your pets. I approach pet sitting with the same attention to detail and care that I bring to all of my professional endeavors, ensuring that both pets and their owners feel comfortable and supported. In addition to pet sitting, I have a comprehensive professional background in various fields, including public service, community outreach, and project management. I hold a Master's degree in International Development and I’ve spent over a decade in roles that required a deep commitment to service, organization, and collaboration. My career has been dedicated to serving others. Whether it’s managing international exchange programs or working with youth, I bring the same dedication to pet care, ensuring that each client receives reliable, personalized attention.

Safety, trust & environment
Due to apartment building regulations, I'm unable to care for pets in my home. However, when I stay in a client's home, I manage all pet care needs including feeding, waste disposal, play time, and as many dog walks as required by the owner's instructions. I also follow all safety protocols such as keeping the client's home secure, not inviting guests over, and cleaning up after myself during my stay.

Our family had a medical emergency and Summar was flexible and understanding when we needed to change the schedule around slightly! During a very stressful time, it was a relief to know that our cat was in good hands - one less thing for us to worry about. She is dependable, trustworthy, and I think of her like family! Summar is warm, patient, and clearly a natural with animals. She understood our sometimes quirky dog, sent regular updates and photos, and handled everything with calm, reliable confidence including when our alarm randomly went off and the housekeepers showed up unexpectedly (she also speaks Spanish!). We never once worried while she was with Oz and we will be asking her back again and again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving sitter.
Summar is an amazing dog and house sitter every time! Our dog loves his staycations with her as much as we enjoy our time away not worrying at all about Comet because of Summar's wonderful care. Thank you Summar!
Summar was a fantastic house and cat sitter! She cared for our anxious kitty with warmth and patience, regularly harvested and watered our garden during a heat wave, and did a myriad of other tasks with perfection. We also got daily updates with pictures from her! I will absolutely be asking her to house sit for us again! Summar is a true gem.

Schedule
I am available for overnight stays from Sunday through Saturday. For cat visits and dog drop-ins mornings, midday, and evenings Sunday through Saturday as well.
