Hi! Thank you for taking the time to review my profile and potentially be your petsitter. *Currently only accepting cat clients, but can accommodate dogs/other pets. Send me a message and let me know what your pet(s)' needs are to see if we will be a good fit for my current schedule.* I've been taking care of dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments, and other pets (birds, rabbits, and amphibians) for over 15 years. I would love to become a part of your pet's pack and help you and your family by walking your dog, or dropping in for dog, cat, or other pet, visits. I understand that pets can have a hard time when their family is away. I go above and beyond to keep pets happy while their owner's are away from home. You can be assured that I will give your pets lots of love and attention, mental and physical playtime, provide the best care possible according to your instructions, and send detailed communication that includes updates about how your pet is doing, what we did together, and any funny stories. I am a photographer so you will also receive excellent photos of your pets! I am excellent at reading animal behavior because I've worked with many different types of personalities between dogs and cats, from aggressive and reactive, to nervous, shy, and quiet. I work hard at becoming an animal's friend and safe space when their family is away. I dedicate myself to working with clients and their pets for as long as it takes in order to not only learn what is best for their pets to achieve a positive relationship with them, but also ensure their pet trusts me like they trust their family. I pride myself on my ability to send extremely detailed messages and many pictures and videos to my clients every day. This leads to increased owner comfort and peace of mind, as well as receiving a full picture of how my visits go and what their pets are up to. I believe this creates a more trustworthy and honest relationship between myself and owners because they can see how I spend my time interacting with their pets in a way that best suits them. This can mean spending quality time with a cat on their favorite couch giving them lots of cuddles and brushes, exercising a kitten so they can get all of their energy out, taking a senior dog on a short walk and spending the rest of the visit indoors giving them attention and pets, or whatever it is that your pet needs. I do not charge extra for holiday rates so my rates stay the same year-round. My rate covers a 30-minute walk or drop-in visit where 100% of that time is attention and love towards your pet! Additionally, I do not charge extra for feeding/changing water, administering medications, watering plants, checking mail and packages, and turning lights on and off at visits, if that is something you're interested in.
