Information Megan L. would like to know about your pet
Before your booking, I appreciate learning as much as possible about your pet so I can provide the best care and help them feel comfortable while you're away. Please tell me about your pet's personality, daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any favorite toys, treats (how many they’re allowed), or activities they enjoy. It's also helpful to know how they typically interact with new people, other pets, and unfamiliar environments, as well as any fears, anxieties, triggers, or behavioral quirks they may have.
A typical day
I love keeping pets engaged, active, and happy during their care. Depending on each pet's personality, age, and energy level, we'll enjoy activities such as walks around the neighborhood, playtime with their favorite toys, games of fetch, tug-of-war, enrichment activities, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

PreVet student who loves dogs/cats!
Pet care experience
I’m a pre-vet student who just graduated from UVA and has grown up with two large dogs! I’ve also recently owned a hamster from a college lab! I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I also have about 100 hours of dog walking experience from a shelter so I am comfortable with reactive/fearful/energetic dogs, and another 100 from shadowing at a vet practice.
Cat care experience

Megan also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews
Megan was incredibly caring and thoughtful during her time with my dog. She made sure to go above and beyond on the instructions i’ve given her! She’s definitely my first choice for taking care of my dog after myself!
She understands and loves my dogs! She is very attentive to their needs and always gives them lots of time, affection, and walks. Couldn’t recommend her more!
Great communication and photos with each visit, and follows instructions for feeding and care perfectly. Always takes the extra time to play with my cat and keep her company. My cat is excited to see her each time; it is clear that she genuinely cares for animals and any pet will be in great hands 😻
