Residents and their pets needed to be evacuated. Mary ended up having to bring my cats to a boarding facility. She put them all in their crates, walked up and down eight flights of stairs in my building, put them in her car, drove them, and then admitted them to the chosen boarding facility. About: While I haven't worked professionally in pet care, I've had animals throughout my entire adulthood. I currently share my home with a senior cat and a high-energy medium-sized dog, so I'm comfortable with pets at very different life stages — from playful and active to calm and gentle. I work part-time and study from home most of the week, so my schedule is flexible. Aside from Tuesday mornings, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I'm typically able to spend 30 minutes to an hour per walk or drop-in, giving pets plenty of one-on-one attention. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog who LOVES to play. I do have a senior cat but she hangs out downstairs which is gated off and doesn’t have any interest in socializing with dogs. You can count on plenty of photo and video updates throughout our time together, so you always know how your pet is doing.
