Hi, I’m Mariam! I have 12 years of experience caring for dogs, including my own, and have previously been a sitter on Rover. I work from home and enjoy having dogs around to keep me company throughout the day. I live with my mini Goldendoodle, Dood, who’s a happy, friendly little guy and loves both dogs and people. Between caring for him and booking sitters for him myself, I know how much it matters to find someone you feel comfortable leaving your dog with. I offer boarding, daycare, walks, and drop-in visits. I’m also available for house sitting as long as Dood is welcome to come with me. I’ll make time for walks & play time while keeping your dog’s usual routine in mind. Tell me about their favorite things, little habits, and anything they need help with. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and send photos and updates.

Mariam is a loving caregiver who can absolutely be trusted with your pets for walks and/or longer-term pet-sitting. Several weeks ago I had a fall, and Mariam’s been coming to walk my 2 Yorkies at least 3 days a week. They get so excited to see her. They’ve also gone to her place for sleep-overs, and I think they’re disappointed to come home because they get more attention and spoiling there!
Mariam is a true dog lover! My two boys (pug and min pin) loved her, snuggled, and slept with her every night. She house/dog sat and took great care of the boys and my home. I don’t like boarding my dogs, so it was perfect that she stayed with them in their own home. She kept me updated throughout the weekend with photos and videos, they were having a blast. She was super professional, great communicator, kind and trustworthy. I will be using her again and again!

Schedule
I work from home, so your dog will have company while I’m working and time for walks, potty breaks, and attention throughout their stay. My own dog, Dood, already keeps me on a routine! For walks and drop in visits, early mornings, late afternoons, and evenings usually work best. Just let me know what you need, and we can figure out timing before booking.

I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. I’m the same way with mine! I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and telling me exactly how your dog likes things done. I live with my two year old mini Goldendoodle, Dood. He’s a happy, friendly little guy who loves both dogs and people! We’ll still have our dogs meet before daycare or boarding to make sure they’re comfortable together. I’ll give your pup time to settle in and follow the routine you share with me. If I’m stopping by your home, I’ll make sure your dog has what they need and gets some attention before I leave. And of course, I’ll send photos and updates!
Pets
A typical day
It really depends on your dog! If they love walks and playtime, we’ll make time for both. If they’re happier taking a slow sniff walk and then curling up for a nap, that works too. I’ll keep meals and potty breaks close to their normal schedule and let them settle in at their own pace. They don’t have to be super active to have a good day here.

- Tell me about your dog’s little habits! What do they love, what makes them nervous, and what helps them settle down? I’d also like to know their usual routine, any allergies or medications, and how they do when left alone. Since I have a dog myself, please let me know how your dog does around other dogs and whether they’re protective of food or toys. Don’t worry about giving me too much information. I’d rather know ahead of time so I can make them comfortable!
