About: Even though this is my first time using this site; I am ready to accept this new challenge. A little about myself is, I love animals! I work a nurse schedule so I have the freedom of being able to share my free time spending them with your lovely furr friends. I am a cat person as well as a dog person. I am very patient and caring to all. I have great time management skills so I can efficiently get everything any dog owner needs me to do at a reasonable time frame. I will treat each and every dog with lots of love and attention as if they were my own !! I am very social so I will definitely love to play endlessly with any dog I take care of. I am very excited and eager to start this new adventure in my life ! I am currently working three times a week. This gives me the liberty to provide any dog or cat services on my days off !! About: Ever since I was little, I have been known to care extra for the animals and creatures around me. I can remember helping out with family friends' dog, cat, or horse feedings fairly early on in my life. I have petsitting experience as well as internship experience at Ark Veterinarian Hospital, where I completed a 6-week full-time internship shadowing Dr. Kate Connell 2 years ago. I was able to work with some amazing technicians and doctors. I was even able to observe a few orthopedic surgeries. Now I can say that I have worked with all sorts of dogs and cats in varying medical and behavioral states. I feel incredibly grateful for the experience. I have pets of my own; my family dog Cabot (a Welsh Springer Spaniel) lives with my dad in Middlebury, and my cat Somtso (a beautiful longhair rescue) lives with me between Pennsylvania and Virginia. My family and I have cared for Cabot for over 7 years now, and sweet Somtso for over 5. I am a full-time college student going into my senior academic year at Dickinson College and am curious about fun ways I could save some money this summer. Let me know if you have any specific questions! Summers are the best time for bookings. Between semesters I have full time flexibility to accommodate a variety of bookings and locations. Working for rover allows me to organize my hours in a way that is best for me and my clients. I live with roommates on campus, and alternate between living spaces when I am home, so having pets stay with me is not something I am able to accommodate at this time. I would love to be able to care for your pets elsewhere. I can do anything from long walks or games of fetch to tire an excited pup out, light training and feedings, and any help with medication or supplement schedules.
