About: I’ve been pet sitting for many years now. I love animals and I love giving them all the attention they need. I am willing to help with pet care no matter what that means. It could be as simple as feeding and walks. It could also be more complicated and be about making sure an older dog gets their medicine. Secretly for me pet sitting is more about spending time with animals than it is about the money. I am free all day on the weekends. I will base my weekend schedule around the dog’s schedule. On weekdays I am currently working from home 8-4. If I need to stay overnight at your home I treat it with the upmost respect. I am also willing to do other basic tasks at the house. Like watering plants and taking in the mail. I know how helpful it can be for dogs to stay in a familiar environment.

“Korrey did a wonderful job taking care of our German Shepherd Quincy and hound mix Sydney while we were on vacation for a week. Sydney is a little skittish towards new people, but she warmed right up to Korrey - he has very calm energy. Korrey administered several medications for the dogs and also picked up the dog poop in the backyard. He followed all instructions, sent a few pictures, and I never had any issues getting in touch with him. I was nice to be on vacation and not have to worry about our pups at all!”

About: I’m a pre-vet student who just graduated from UVA and has grown up with two large dogs! I’ve also recently owned a hamster from a college lab! I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I also have about 100 hours of dog walking experience from a shelter so I am comfortable with reactive/fearful/energetic dogs, and another 100 from shadowing at a vet practice. I am currently looking for a vet assistant job so my schedule is open 7 days a week! I am used to all day pet sitting.
