“I couldn't have been blessed with a better sitter. Diana and her family totally exceeding my expectations with taking care of my Apollo. I received updates and photos multiple times a day, that showed the love he was getting, the amazing care he was getting, and he was happy. This was the 1st time using Rover and I was extremely nervous, but Diana and her family took away all my worry. She and her family celebrated Apollo's 3rd birthday with him. We were greeted with balloons. How awesome was that! Diana's love has for dogs shows immensely as well as her good character, and I would absolutely use her again and strongly recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter for their dog. Thank you Diana, I appreciate you and your family. Until we meet again...”

“Lingshan was fantastic! She checked in on my cat over the holidays, and she was so attentive and thoughtful in her care of our cat and home. We will highly recommend her!”

“I needed a cat sitter on short notice and found Alice. I never used Rover before so it was a bit daunting to ask someone I never met to take care of our cat Pinky. However I sensed I could trust Alice 100% from the moment I spoke to her. She is very friendly, helpful and professional. She owns cats herself so she knew exactly what was needed. She provided picture and detailed updates while we were away. Pinky absolutely adored Alice and I didn’t worry about Pinky while I was away. I knew she was in great hands. I highly recommend Alice and would definitely book her again!”

“Sophia was very easy to talk with and took great care of my cat, Angel! Although she usually suffers from separation anxiety, when I came home Angel was doing really well and was her usual happy self! I’m sure it was in large part because of Sophia’s visit.”

“One of the best pet sitters I have had. I have an older cat with medical problems. My 2nd cat can be aggressive with strangers especially when giving my older cat meds. She had the least problems of any pet sitter and was great with handling both. She is reliable and competent. Just did an amazing job.”

“Lina was an absolute breath of fresh air! From her warm greeting to her punctuality and genuine enthusiasm for my dog, she immediately put both of us at ease. Lina’s joyful energy seems to match any dog’s spirit - whether it’s gentle affection, a leisurely walk, or playful running and games. I honestly couldn’t tell who was more excited to see the other, her or my Chester! I would wholeheartedly recommend Lina to anyone seeking a loving, attentive, and dependable caretaker while you’re away.”

About: Family love!! We now own a Bugg (boston terrier/pug mix) named Moxie who is 4 and previously owned a rescue pug named Rosie who lived to be 15. We have a single family home and large fully fenced in yard and love pet sitting all our neighbors' pets! We also have three boys (ages 5, 9, 12) who are comfortable around pets and love to play with them. My husband and I both telework so someone is home every day of the week. Either my husband or I am home every day. We typically walk our Bugg, Moxie, 3 times a day and also have a large fully fenced yard for her to play. Our current dog, Moxie, is free to roam our house all day and she sleeps in our son's room at night in her doggie bed. We don't mind dogs on our furniture or in any room, but can also provide separation or crating if desired.

About: Hi I'm a puppy lover, and I work from home. We are surrounded by many parks and would love to take your dog out to play. We have both grown up with dogs and would love to have our own one day but currently we travel abroad for a month every year which makes owning a dog a challenge. I would love to look after your puppy as my own! Why I love dog sitting We have always had dogs in our family. Since we travel internationally for over a month period almost every year, it is difficult for us to own one currently and therefore through Rover, we are able to get our puppy fix. About my yard We do have a huge yard My experience administering medication We are comfortable administering oral medication. My husband and I work from home and our parents are young, retired and live with us so we have 4 adults to help as needed. We only offer dog sitting in our home. Ofcourse we will feed them, walk them, pick up after them and offer unconditional cuddles if they allow us :)
“Shanilka was super responsive and understanding of my dog's needs!! She was very kind and prompt with pick up and drop off so I didn't have to wait long in the cold. Highly recommend!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a young child. My Bruno (12 lb Biewer Terrier) and my regular daycare friends will keep your pup company - as well as my two attentive and careful children (12 & 9). We will love your pet as if he/she is our own! As a teenager, I raised cockatiels and I volunteered for the Museum of Life and Sciences in Durham, NC taking care of exotic animals of all types and sizes. Now that we have a yard, I've been living my dream of having my own dog (5+ years). It turns out I am great with dogs! • I limit boarding to smaller dog breeds with the rare exception for daycare when I know the family and larger dog plays well. • I work from home, so I will be with them all day. • I have a large fenced-in backyard, where they can get their zoomies out, and go for potty breaks as needed. I go outside a lot, which brings them outside more too (they like to be wherever I am!) • If your dog likes car rides, let me know, he/she can come along for short errands and pickups to and from school. • I can watch other kinds of pets, as long as you can easily transport them to me: Birds, bunnies, etc. using my “cat” rate on Rover. Request a cat boarding and let me know about your pet. • I do not watch cats. We have allergies to them To get started, we will have a meet & greet over video or in person, and book from there. Please let me know: 1. Does your pup has any behavioral quirks to be aware? For example, he won't go potty unless he's on a walk. 2. Any special feeding instructions? 3. Any favorite games? Looking forward to meeting you! I work from home regular 9-5 hours. I take frequent breaks before, during, and after work to feed, potty and exercise our fur buddies. I'm here to let them in and out of our large backyard for frequent breaks and play time. I have a large fenced backyard, with pickets to keep smaller breeds safe. I'm constantly checking that the gates are closed. They can sleep anywhere in our house, and most are comfortable doing so without a crate. When the weather is nice, I'll work on our deck to give them more outside time (because let's face it... these velcro sweeties want to be wherever I am!)
About: Lifelong dog mom with experience caring for puppies, adults, and seniors. I provide attentive, WFH care, medication support, structured routines, safe socialization, and lots of love and cuddles. I require a complimentary meet and greet at least one week before booking to confirm compatibility and ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. I work a flexible hybrid schedule and plan my days around dog stays, ensuring frequent check-ins, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship, with care. I maintain a clean, calm, non-smoking home and prioritize safety, supervision, and trust, treating every dog with the same care as my own, always thoughtfully. 1 week prior meet and greet required!

About: I’ve had dogs and taken care of them since I was a child. I’ve owned an Airedale terrier, a pug, a Russian terrier, and my family currently has a Japanese spitz. I’ve got all sorts of experience - I have adopted a doggie from a shelter before, and I’ve also raised my two pups from 3 months old until they passed a few months ago at ages 14 and 16. I’ve boarded dogs - I looked after a friend’s pug for a week, a family friend’s elderly golden retriever, and fostered a stray my sister and I rescued before someone adopted her. I’ve taken road trips with multiple pets, and flown across the country with 3 of my dogs, I’ve taken them to all sorts of vet appointments, and been with them through all stages of their lives. I’m on this platform looking for company to heal from losing my furry friends, because being around dogs brings me peace and joy. I am a performing artist and I travel a lot for concerts, so having my own pet is unfortunately not feasible at the moment, hence I decided that taking care of someone else’s furry babies while I’m home between performances is the second best thing:) You can rest assured that I’ll take great pleasure in taking care of them and having them in my home. I work from home during the day and I am home from evening until morning, too. I do however step out for errands and appointments. Your dog will be with me most of the time while staying in my home, walked 2-3 times and fed on schedule, but should be comfortable being on its own for 2-3 hours max, if I have things to do. If your doggie has severe separation anxiety and is unable to be alone at all, I can accommodate that with enough notice and for 2x my normal nightly rate. I’ve always let my dogs run free around the house and make a safe space for them where they liked, but I did crate my rescue doggie when he first arrived to slowly acclimate him to the new place. Whatever you prefer for your dog is fine by me and I’m happy to accommodate. I don’t have a yard, but I have plenty of green areas nearby where I’d walk your furry pal. I keep my dogs on leash at all times. I like training them and playing with them to give them some mental stimulation, but if they prefer to chill and not be bothered I’m cool with that as well
“We had a great experience with LaurieBeth, and our pup Max loved her. From start to finish, everything went smoothly and we felt confident leaving him in her care. She was attentive, communicative, and clearly took the time to make sure Max was comfortable and well cared for. Most importantly, Max seemed really happy and relaxed when we picked him up, which says a lot. It’s obvious he enjoyed his time there. We didn’t have any issues at all and would absolutely trust her to watch him again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Candace continues to be an amazing dog sitter for my 1-year old pup. I really appreciate her responsiveness as well. She is always super pleasant and my dog has the best time at her house. He always comes home happy!”

“I have booked with Nicole a few times now for walks and more recently a drop in visit. She always replies in a timely manner and is very flexible with my schedule. She leaves very thorough reviews of my dogs and how they acted and clearly cares very much for them. She was able to take care of my dog after he hurt his back and give him his medications while I was gone! She does a great job at every visit! Will continue to book with her.”

About: I’m a reliable and attentive dog sitter who takes the time to understand each dog’s specific needs and routine. I have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable adjusting my approach depending on their age, energy level, and behavior. With puppies, I focus on reinforcing good habits like basic commands, potty training routines, and appropriate play. I stay consistent with whatever training style the owner prefers to help support their progress. I also have experience with senior care, including giving medications, monitoring mobility, and making sure older dogs stay comfortable and don’t overexert themselves. I pay close attention to any changes in behavior and keep owners updated. I’m patient, observant, and make sure every dog feels safe, cared for, and well looked after. I am a college student at Penn State University and am back for summer, so I’m free everyday and am flexible with timing to fit your needs. I follow each pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I stick to their feeding, walking, and care instructions while making sure the pet gets plenty of attention and exercise.

I am more than willing to share my references with you if it makes you feel more comfortable!

About: I may not have a dog at home right now, but I’ve been the go-to person in my friend group whenever someone needs a sitter or walker they can actually trust. Dogs have always gravitated toward me — probably because I treat every pup like my own. I grew up with a family dog who I loved deeply, and losing her a few years ago only deepened my appreciation for how much these animals mean to us. Taking care of your dog isn’t just a job to me — it’s genuinely one of my favorite things to do. Expect lots of walks, playtime, cuddles on demand, and photo updates so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give dogs the time, attention, and exercise they deserve, whether it’s a morning walk, midday check-in, or a full day of company. I treat every dog like family. I follow each pet parent’s routines and instructions closely, keep dogs leashed and secure at all times, and send regular updates and photos so you always know your pup is happy and safe. Your dog’s comfort and wellbeing is always my top priority.
“Lauren was great to work with and I will definitely contact her again the next time we need someone to walk our dogs. She was responsive, flexible, and great with our two German Shepherds. She also sent pictures of the dogs each time she walked them. I would highly recommend you reach out to Lauren!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I have house sat, walked, and bathed dogs of family and friends multiple times. I am comfortable caring for all sized dogs. I grew up with a very anxious rescue dog, so I have experience with sweet dogs who need extra patience. I am a full time teacher, so I have summers off. During the school year I will be available to help after school and on weekends. Until August I am available all day each day of the week. I will care for your pet with patience and respect. I love being around dogs, and I will always follow pet instructions and guidelines provided.
About: Whether I’m taking care of my own cat, or just getting to know your pets for a few days, I promise to show them all the same love! I’ve had pets my whole life, and have had a cat that’s been the center of my world the past few years. Obviously her basic needs are always a top priority, but so is just spending time hanging out and playing. I recently moved to Missoula and had to leave her at home with my sister, so I’m really missing having animals around me. I currently live in a house with a small enclosed backyard and a large park nearby. The neighborhood is overall pretty quiet and great for walks!
About: I looked and took care of my Yorkie dog for 18 years. He was a very healthy dog. Also, I took care of all the family dogs and cats. I will have time to play and take care of your pet. They should have all the vaccines and adequate space to be themselves.

Part of my responsibilities included walking, exercising, administering medication, bathing, and spending the night with dogs of all ages and sizes. I also have some training experience and have worked with up to 30 dogs at one time. I'm currently not working until the summer is over, so I am very flexible. My schedule is totally open for dog or cat sitting, walking, or check-ins. The way I care for your pets is up to you; I can adapt to your needs, whatever they may be. I am comfortable crating pets if need be, but I prefer to let my own pets roam free throughout my house. With puppies or smaller dogs, I keep a close eye on their activities, especially when they're outside.

“Our very social and attention-craving lab mix loved his stay with Natalia and Edward. We were out of town for seven days and received adorable pictures of him playing with their dog, lounging in the living room, or romping with the family. We especially liked the big backyard that allows for built-in outdoor space and the very walkable neighborhood which allowed for going further afield. It was clear they perfectly understood what our Milo needed and were more than happy and ready to accommodate. Relieved we’ve found a go-to Rover we’d be happy to use again. Highly recommend.”

She also provided regular updates with photos during my dog’s stay - I would definitely book again.”

About: We are a family of four (kids are 12 and 15), plus Nash our 6 year old Australian Shepard who loves walks and snuggles. Before Nash (and even before kids!), we had Riley, our sweet black lab who left us too soon. Over the years, we have fostered dogs, cared for our friends' dogs, given millions of belly rubs and logged many miles of dog walks around our lovely neighborhood. Your pup will have a fenced-in yard and run of the house to play and rest. We will follow whatever schedule they are used to, can have them play with our dog or provide separation if you prefer. While the kids may help, all pup care will be done 100% by me.
