“Sujan was absolutely wonderful. He cared spectacularly for our 5 year old Goldendoodle Mango for 7 days. Mango had so much fun with Sujan and his family and their dog. She was very happy and healthy when I picked her up. She even had a day or two of sadness missing her new friends! About: I have over 13 years of hands-on experience caring for cats. During that time, I’ve raised four cats of my own and have cared for cats through all different stages of life, from young, energetic cats to seniors who need a little more patience and attention. I’ve also spent time volunteering at cat shelters, which gave me experience with cats of many different personalities and temperaments. Right now I have one cat, Blue, who is 3 years old and a huge part of my life. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable with the person looking after your cat while you’re away. I’m happy to follow whatever routine you already have in place, whether that includes feeding, litter box care, playtime, attention, or simply keeping them company and letting them enjoy their space. Cats can be pretty clear about what they’re comfortable with if you know what to look for. I try to let them set the pace instead of forcing attention, especially with cats who are shy, nervous, or just unsure about a new person being in their space. I’m also pretty used to noticing when a cat is getting overstimulated or has simply decided they’ve had enough attention for now! I also have some experience caring for dogs and will occasionally accept house sitting for dogs on a case-by-case basis. While cats are my main focus, I’m happy to care for dogs when I feel I’m a good fit for their needs and routine.

About: I have had several dogs but do not currently have any pets. I have had to give medicine to dogs and lots of experience with puppy “accidents”. I’m a teacher, so during summer and breaks I have lots of free time. I have two boys, both of whom love animals. They would love to have a pet visit our home. I can only house-sit when I don’t have my children with me, but can board an animal anytime. Important to note that during the school year my Friday availability is evening only. I have a fenced yard. At my home, I can almost guarantee your dog or cat would get to sleep in a child’s bed and be loved like family. At your home, I would respect any rules you have set.

About: I am a lover of all animals and I currently have my tabby cat, April. My mom is a dog walker, and through her, I’ve been exposed to dogs of all breeds and watched how she lovingly cares for them. I’ve accompanied her on countless walks during my free time and I’m very familiar with the dog walking procedures. Additionally I’ve walked and overnight cared for my sister’s 2 dogs on occasion over the years. I’m eager to learn more and build great relationships with your fur babies! I have just relocated to Charlestown and for the time being, I have full availability for dog walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting at your home. “Sujan was absolutely wonderful. He cared spectacularly for our 5 year old Goldendoodle Mango for 7 days. He was an excellent communicator and sent pictures every day of Mango in the yard, on walks, sleeping on the bed. He gave her delicious treats (and always asked first to make sure we approved.) Mango had so much fun with Sujan and his family and their dog. She was very happy and healthy when I picked her up. She even had a day or two of sadness missing her new friends! I would recommend Sujan 150% and will definitely have him watch Mango again.”

About: Leaving your dog with someone else can feel like a big deal! You want to know that they’re safe, loved, and in good hands. That’s what I’m here for :) I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and love dogs! I’ve been caring for dogs for many years and have experience with the day-to-day responsibilities that come with having a pet. I’m patient and attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs, and I want them to have the best time while they’re in my care! Whether your pup wants a good walk, some playtime, or simply a lot of love and attention, I’ll meet them where they are. I have a pup of my own: a blue heeler/pomsky mix, so I’m no stranger to energetic personalities and their little quirks! If you’re looking for someone who will give your dog plenty of care, attention, and love, I’d love to meet you both! I’ll also be sure to send many updates throughout their care. I currently work full-time during the week, so I’m primarily available on weekends (Friday evening to Sunday), with some weekday evening availability depending on the day. I’m happy to work around your dog’s usual routine and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. Whether you need someone for a walk, a drop-in visit, or weekend dog sitting, I’d be happy to help! I live in a townhouse with a small, unfenced yard, as well as a large grassy area and plenty of walking paths nearby for walks, sniffs, and exploring. I also have my dog, Peter, so our dogs will be sharing a home together. Peter loves making new friends and getting playmates! While I’m sitting, I’ll be home with the dogs most of the time, if not all, aside from the occasional short errand when needed. If you and your pup are comfortable with car rides, I’m also happy to take them to nearby parks and trails to explore! I’ll always follow your instructions and your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at home. When caring for your pup in their home, I would love to take them for walks, stay in for some playtime and cuddles, or simply follow whatever routine and activities they enjoy the most!
