Safety, trust & environment
Safety and fun are the top priority with my dogs and will be so when I take care of yours. I have lots of experience walking and caring for all energy levels and personalities, including reactivity to people and other dogs on walks.
Information Jennifer E. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know as much as possible about your pet’s behavior before I care for them. Each pet has their own personality and needs and I’ll try my best to adjust my care to fit their needs. For example I would like to know how your dog reacts to other people, dogs, cars, etc on walks. Is there anything that bothers them, anything we should stay away from or not do. Please let me know if they have received specific behavioral training so that I can try to stay consistent with those methods. Do they prefer to take it easy with a shorter walk or go on brisk/fast-paced walk or hike? Do they respond to treats while on walks? The more information you can give the better!
A typical day
We can walk around your neighborhood or on a nearby trail. Also happy to just play in the backyard or in the house, depending on your needs.

Pet care experience
I have had dogs my entire life and am crazy about them! I am the person that will walk right past you in order to pet your dog. Currently, I have a 7 year old coonhound and a 3 year old mountain cur mix that my family adopted from a local rescue organization. I have a special place in my heart for rescue and shelter dogs. I have experience taking care of a wide range of ages and energy levels including puppies, seniors and high energy dogs. I will play with your dog, walk or run, just let me know what type of exercise they prefer. I look forward to getting to know your dog and building a fun, positive relationship with him or her.

Reviews

Jennifer was fabulous. My dog was comfortable with her and even my neighbors told me how good she was taking care of Dash. Art Chase

Jennifer clearly loves walking and working with my dogs. I am a dog trainer and have been unable to walk my pups due to medical reasons and she has been so helpful. I truly appreciate how willing she is to reinforce the rules and training I have in place with my dogs and it’s obvious how much the dogs love and respect her when she comes over. I highly recommend hiring her, especially if you have dogs that need to follow more structured guidelines on walks.

Great with my leash reactive dog! Highly recommend.
Jennifer is a responsible animal lover who enjoys long walks with furry friends! I have known her for years, during which has loved my many pet companions. She would be a wonderful asset for your pet needs.
