“Michelle was really great. She was prompt and clear when communicating with me. She sent pictures and updates through out each day. Most importantly she was understanding and patient with ME as I explain in detail a lot of what my dogs need. I have a 13 yo and a 13 month old, both labs and each comes with some very specific handling needs especially around feeding and walking and Michelle was open to letting me communicate these needs. “Michael was absolutely amazing with our sweet big boy for 10 days while we were out of town. Our guy has newly started having seizures and while we hoped he wouldn’t have one while we were gone he ended up having 4. Michael was not experienced beforehand with sitting with dogs who have seizures but made sure to ask all the questions before hand to make sure he knew what to do. And thankfully he did. He even ended up giving our guy a rectal suppository after the regular medications were not working sufficiently and stayed with him until we were home to ensure a safe handoff. To top it off he also checked in with us later to see how Moko was doing. We could not recommend him more. Thank you again Michael!”
About: I’ve been a (very happy) dog owner for 10 years, and an animal lover since my first pet cat at the age of 5. My two rescue pups are my life, and they live a healthy, active and loving life with me here in Burke. Growing up on a farm provided me with a life filled with animal caretaking, and has given me several unique opportunities to care for a TONS of different pets. Since living here in Burke for 2 years, I take a lot of pride in meeting and interacting with all of our dogs and families within our community. I spend a lot of time helping out neighbors with last minute dog walks or home sitting, and working with our other community members to create inclusive, safe environments for our dogs to play and interact at our local dog park. Taking care of dogs is a serious passion of mine. I treat my dogs Molly and Luna as my children, and I extend that same love and care to all fur babies who come my way. Working with pets is currently my full-time job and focus! Finding time to take care of your loved one(s) IS my routine, and can be available to provide walks, play time, house sitting, park visits, etc., from 9-4 every week day. I like to treat your pets as if they are my own. I will follow all directions providing for feeding, walks, and more. But on top of that I love to just spend time with them to make them feel at ease - belly rubs, playing with their favorite toy, or whatever else brings them joy!
