About: I’m new to rover but a lifelong pet care provider. I’ve primarily cared for dogs and cats. I’ve some experience with exotics like birds and reptiles as well. I pride myself on bringing a balance of experience and calm but engaging energy for all pets. I have experience caring for dogs as small as 7lbs and as large as 90lbs. I’ve provided care for multi-pet and multi-species homes. I pride myself on being the most popular person at the dog park (with dogs, I’m not there for the people). I’m happy to provide additional care to animals that need it for medical or non-medical reasons. Every person and every pet has their own personality and quirks, so I’m happy to learn and provide the highest quality care that I can. I’m currently open to pet care across many times and days. So if you need a recurring or spontaneous pet care, I am happy to work with you. I am experienced with crate training and can crate your dogs if needed. Every home has different dynamics and rules that I want to respect and make your pets experience with me as comfortable and fun as possible. “Michael was absolutely amazing with our sweet big boy for 10 days while we were out of town. Our guy has newly started having seizures and while we hoped he wouldn’t have one while we were gone he ended up having 4. Michael was not experienced beforehand with sitting with dogs who have seizures but made sure to ask all the questions before hand to make sure he knew what to do. And thankfully he did. He even ended up giving our guy a rectal suppository after the regular medications were not working sufficiently and stayed with him until we were home to ensure a safe handoff. Nikki and Johnny really hit it off during their meet and greet. He as so excited and happy to see Nikki when she arrived to stay with him.
