“We had a wonderful first experience with Anna and Hieu. They stayed in my home for a week to watch my Chihuahua mix baby and Chihuahua grandbaby. I knew my grand-dog would be okay, but my dog is such a mama’s boy that I was nervous about leaving him. As expected, he was very sad the first day or two but Anna and Hieu made sure he had plenty of love and attention to help him feel better. They were wonderful about keeping me updated with photos and a daily activity summary which I greatly appreciated. I could tell from the photos and information that my baby was adjusting and felt very comfortable with these two sitters. As a nervous first time Rover user, I left a ridiculous number of instructions on both the dogs and the house, and the ladies happily received them and didn’t make me feel like a crazy dog mom haha. Melissa was totally awesome!! She gave us an update every day and sent pictures along with it (some of them were truly hilarious. I was able to communicate our dog Tater’s fear of thunderstorms and that we give him a calming treat to help with the anxiety. Melissa understood this instruction and was able to follow the protocol to a tee. We left Melissa a list of instructions along with point of contact phone numbers and other helpful information. She reviewed these with us during our face-to-face meet and greet and had it under control. Because of an unfortunate incident with a hot pan, Melissa let us know right away and offered to pay for it. The pan was not expensive so it was no big deal; we were more concerned about her and our dogs getting burned. To make it for it, Melissa left us a note and treats (for both us and the dogs) which was a pleasant surprise. In addition, when we arrived home, the dogs were “put behind bars” in the family room and soothing music was playing. This allowed us to enter the house with our luggage and not be attacked. We could tell they missed us but were sad to see Melissa go. Melissa also washed the sheets and towels she used during her stay and the kitchen was spotless. It looked even cleaner than when we left. I would HIGHLY recommend Melissa for her service and if she is available will book again for a February 2027 vacation we have planned.
We had a great experience with Skyler and highly recommend her services. From the initial contact, Skyler was responsive and prompt. While we were gone, we received daily updates and lots of pictures and it was obvious our pets (2 dogs, 3 bunnies and a fish) were getting a lot of love and attention. At one point during the trip, I realized we forgot to put a vacation feeder in the fish tank and I reached out to Skyler who not only fed the fish, but sent us a video to assure us he was alive and well. The next time we need someone to watch Ruby, Lucy, Peaches, Penny, Arnold, & Todd, we will definitely reach out to Skyler.
Clara was absolutely amazing with our dog, Leo, while we were away for over a week. She took such great care of him, making sure he was happy, comfortable, and well looked after the entire time. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Clara was reliable, attentive, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Leo was so comfortable with her, and we could tell he was well cared for when we got back. We’re so grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!
