“Brianna was communicative, kind and clearly took wonderful care of our pup! She provided thorough details about her time with our doggo and the pictures were proof of just how happy our little one was in her care. 5/5, 10/10 and any other top ratings we could share 🌟”

“Melissa is practically part of the family at this point. Our golden girl absolutely loves her! We use her for weekly walks, drop in visits, and all out of town travel. She is always accommodating to our schedule and we are so lucky to have found her!”

“Erica is a jackpot find on Rover! She is a dog trainer and trains her personal dogs for competition sports, so she can handle pretty much anything! My reactive, energetic GSD loved all her attention and expertise. She's a great communicator and goes the extra mile to make sure your pets are taken care of. I'll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Lohan is wonderful with King. He’s on time and reliable. One day it rained and he was concerned with King being comfortable in the weather conditions. King is excited for his walks with Lohan, as he wakes me up early to get him ready and then he patiently waits by the door. Lohan is very good with communicating with me and keeps me updated. I absolutely love the pictures I receive every morning. I would definitely recommend Lohan.”

“Melissa was such a wonderful source of support to us and our puppy! I had to travel for work and her support made me feel a lot more comfortable traveling. Our puppy is 8 months and still learning to adjust to the heat and Melissa did a wonderful job walking her!”

“Jim did a great job! He put my shy dog at ease pretty quickly and didn’t rush his walk. He was much more attentive to my dog’s needs than I expected. Will book with him again.”

I have provided feeding, walks, playtime, attention, and companionship while making sure each pet feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I have a flexible schedule with plenty of availability to provide your pets with attention, playtime, walks, and companionship throughout the day. I enjoy creating a safe and comfortable environment where pets feel happy and loved. I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for every pet I care for. About: I grew up around dogs most of my life, big and small, and treat my own dog like he’s my son. My husband Alex also grew up around dogs and is an experienced dog sitter. He grew up watching his mom care for dogs, who not only was a sitter but also trained dogs for leading the blind. Together we own a young Samoyed that we spoil to pieces and loves to play with other dogs. To our friends and family we are very reliable when they are in need of a sitter, and we understand the importance of needing to leave your loved ones with someone you can trust. We never leave the dogs outside by themselves, we take them on walks whenever we can, and we don’t let them sleep alone. We will let your dogs be part of the family and be their home away from away from home. I work part time and don’t have to commute very far for work, so I’m home more than half the time to care for your pet! My husband is in the military and has most nights and weekends off. We have a fenced backyard with plenty of grass. There is also plenty of space inside the house for your dog’s crate/bed and other belongings. Our dog loves to play and keep other dogs company.
“Toni A. is awesome! Our fur baby loves her. He is so excited when he sees her drive up & eager to leave for his walks with Toni. It’s clear to see that she loves dogs. Toni is Punctual, friendly, energized, engaging, and comforting. Of course we were concerned w/starting walking Service with Rover or any dog walking service. This is our baby. Toni calmed all our fears.”

About: Since I was in middle school I have been caring for a variety of animals, family pets, friends pets, neighbors, and new pet owners, and I can say although each pet has their own unique trait I can say one thing about all of them. They are the best! I have always been a pet lover and will forever be! My saying is always happy pet= happy parent, so trust me with caring for your pet and you’ll be one happy parent! I only go to school 3 days for 1 hr each so I will be available almost all the time! I am fully available from Wednesday - Sunday! I will be stimulating each pet with toys and activities, go on adventures walks and do a few tricks to learn and to stay engaged!

About: I’ve been caring for my own dog, Shaggy, for the past 11 years, so I understand the patience, love, and attention pets need every day. A few years ago, my family also welcomed another dog, Bella, into our home, and we’ve been caring for her ever since. Looking after two dogs has taught me how to meet different personalities and needs, whether that’s going on fun walks, playing, or simply making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family and always make sure they receive plenty of love, care, and attentio I am working part time and have plenty of time this summer to meet and take care of many cute faces I am available almost anytime. In my home we have two dogs who are my best friends I love carrying for them a well as having a good time and seeing them have fun.
“I can't say enough about Nataleigh. She is very responsible and communicates well. She does great with our 2 year old Malinois, Sela. We are so glad that we found her. I highly recommend Nataleigh if you want your furry baby to be safe and happy!”

“Erin has provided daily mid-day walks for my senior beagle mix, Amigo, for more than a month now. She is utterly reliable, punctual, organized, friendly, and simply a joy to work with. Erin is kind and affectionate my dog, and he adores her. She has a wealth of experience in caring for pets and gave me great ideas that I hadn't thought of for making things run smoothly, such as getting a lock box for the house key as well as advice on comforting a dog who's alarmed by thunder and other loud noises. She is a smart, polished professional and the ideal person to hire to care for your beloved pet.”

“Jackson was wonderful with our two large dogs! He was on time, attentive to them and was great at walking both of them. He seems to know a lot about dogs and how to take care of them. I will definitely hire Jackson again!”

Melissa is absolutely wonderful!!! My dog has only been left alone one time, so I was nervous leaving her for 9 days. But Melissa put all my worries to rest. I really enjoyed receiving the detailed reports and pictures twice a day. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing she was well cared for. I highly recommend Melissa! I will definitely hire her again for future vacations.

Alyssa was a total lifesaver! We wound up needing to bring our dog on a trip to Northern VA at the last minute and needed someone to walk her. Alyssa was prompt in her communication and asked great questions to make sure our dog was comfortable. She kept us posted on her arrival, let us know how the walk went, and sent photos. We will definitely contact her again when we are in town visiting. Thanks, Alyssa!
Jaelyn manages Ana very well and demonstrates a calm, attentive approach that works effectively with her. Elsa has a much stronger temperament, and given those challenges, I understand that Jaelyn is doing her best with both dogs. I appreciate her patience, consistency, and continued effort in managing their different behaviors.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
