“Erica is a jackpot find on Rover! She is a dog trainer and trains her personal dogs for competition sports, so she can handle pretty much anything! My reactive, energetic GSD loved all her attention and expertise. She's a great communicator and goes the extra mile to make sure your pets are taken care of. I'll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Erin has provided daily mid-day walks for my senior beagle mix, Amigo, for more than a month now. She is utterly reliable, punctual, organized, friendly, and simply a joy to work with. Erin is kind and affectionate my dog, and he adores her. She has a wealth of experience in caring for pets and gave me great ideas that I hadn't thought of for making things run smoothly, such as getting a lock box for the house key as well as advice on comforting a dog who's alarmed by thunder and other loud noises. She is a smart, polished professional and the ideal person to hire to care for your beloved pet.”

“Lohan is wonderful with King. He’s on time and reliable. One day it rained and he was concerned with King being comfortable in the weather conditions. King is excited for his walks with Lohan, as he wakes me up early to get him ready and then he patiently waits by the door. Lohan is very good with communicating with me and keeps me updated. I absolutely love the pictures I receive every morning. I would definitely recommend Lohan.”

“Stephanie was great! Super flexible with my last minute request and arrived right on time. My pup was pleased when he returned from his nice long walk and so was I. Thanks for an awesome first Rover experience Stephanie!”
About: I've always loved animals! Due to allergies, I was never able to have my own pet, so I always take great joy in caring for the pets of others. I started working for Rover in 2023 and have worked several jobs through this app since. I have experience caring for cats and dogs, both old and young. I also have experience dealing with aggressive animals, (specifically dogs) and am prepared to protect your animals should a situation arise. I'm happy to sit and relax with your pets, or get outside and play with them! I'm ready to care for your pets like they're my own! I'm a college student who accepts bookings during breaks, (Summer, Winter, etc.) so I have plenty of free time to care for your animals. I'm able to leave and return for walks, potty breaks, feedings, etc, or to stay and care for your pets for an extended amount of time. While I cannot take pets to my own home, it means your pets can remain comfortable in their usual environments! I'm comfortable using leashes and/or harnesses or just letting a dog roam free in the yard. I will always strive to take the best possible care of your pets!
“Taylor was great! She was a very last minute booking that we really appreciate. She kept us updated on our dogs walks, poops, pees, and fed him his medication! We will keep her in mind in the future and recommend to any pet owners!”

“Brianna is amazing! She's very good at communicating and will walk rain, snow, or shine which Cocoa loves!! She respects our home and more importantly, she's GREAT with all dogs 😊”

“After our regular dog walker threw out her back, we connected with Cayla on Rover. Cayla’s veterinary experience, professionalism and attention to detail convinced us she was the perfect fit for our dogs. We have a senior dog with arthritis that requires special attention and Cayla did an amazing job with him. She administered his medication and was very detailed with her report on his behavior. Our younger dog was excited to walk with Cayla, too! She also left a detailed report of her walk. I highly recommend Cayla to care for your fur babies! I appreciate the detailed care, professionalism and experience that she brings to Rover.”

Melissa is absolutely wonderful!!! My dog has only been left alone one time, so I was nervous leaving her for 9 days. But Melissa put all my worries to rest. I really enjoyed receiving the detailed reports and pictures twice a day. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing she was well cared for. I highly recommend Melissa! I will definitely hire her again for future vacations.

Dawson was fantastic! Kayn is a german shepherd prone to pulling and being a lot to take care of. He listened and took notes of all my suggestions for how to handle him and situations you might be put into while on the walk and he handled him perfectly and Kayn returned home ready for a nap. Dawson is great with dogs giving them lots of pets and attention! Kayn already adores him and is excited for his next walk with Dawson.

Stacy has quickly become an auntie to my pupper. She’s attentive and always provides updates, complete with multiple photos. She goes above and beyond, offering playtime and cuddles in addition to walks and feedings. One of my biggest concerns in finding a sitter was someone who could confidently handle my excitable, muscular 90-lb lab mix, and Stacy does so with ease. She walks her without issue and allows her the space to sniff, explore, and enjoy herself. My pup is my world, and I trust Stacy completely with her. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Benji simply adores Kay! She is attentive and adventurous — taking him on nice long walks in our neighborhood. She is timely and thoughtful - sending periodic photos to check-in on his well-being and responding to any inquiries with minutes. To put it plainly, she deserves five stars — would absolutely recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
