About: I grew up with lots of animals that always needed extra care and love. I also have taken care of seniors that need extra attention, patience, and medication. I just recently graduated cosmetology school so I’m taking time off in the mean time to explore other areas. I have open availability so my focus can be on your fur babies I keep plenty of toys and litter boxes around the home. I keep evening tidy and clean for my animals. About: I’ve taken care of smaller dog breeds since I was 10 since I was a pet owner myself. My childhood pup of 17 years recently passed. I took care of medium-to-large breeds during the pandemic and during grad school. I’m familiar with anxious dogs and older dogs, and like to give animals their space to feel comfortable around me. I’m also experienced in cat sitting (~ 5 years) and have taken care of multi-pet households before. My day-time schedule is flexible and my weekends are pretty much open, especially in the mornings. I like being outside, so I am often at a park or on a hike on weekends! I currently live at home with family, no children and no other pets. We have a large backyard. In a client’s home, I like to be familiar with all entrances and exits and am extra careful to pay attention to feeding and medicine schedules. I take care of my client’s home like I take care of their pet. I am respectful, caring, and responsible. I want the pet to feel as less stress as possible.

Our expectations were well exceeded by Mary’s excellent communication and her adherence to our agreed-upon schedules. We hadn’t left our pup for an extended period before with someone she didn’t know and was grateful to Mary for her care. We would definitely consider hiring Mary again if she was available! We are particularly pleased when our dog’s pet sitter treats her almost as well as we do with conversation and petting sessions .
Kay did such a wonderful job handling our old girl. She went above and beyond when Miss Peppers developed a troubled tummy the day before her first walk. Kay kept me well informed, cleaned up some mess (above and beyond!) and checked in to see if she was feeling better. Kay was also flexible about changing a walk day when our plans changed at the last minute.
Melissa is absolutely wonderful!!! My dog has only been left alone one time, so I was nervous leaving her for 9 days. But Melissa put all my worries to rest. I really enjoyed receiving the detailed reports and pictures twice a day. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing she was well cared for. I highly recommend Melissa! I will definitely hire her again for future vacations.

Dawson was fantastic! Kayn is a german shepherd prone to pulling and being a lot to take care of. He listened and took notes of all my suggestions for how to handle him and situations you might be put into while on the walk and he handled him perfectly and Kayn returned home ready for a nap. Dawson is great with dogs giving them lots of pets and attention! Kayn already adores him and is excited for his next walk with Dawson.

She goes above and beyond, offering playtime and cuddles in addition to walks and feedings.
