About: I have cared for all different breeds and sizes of dogs over the years. I grew up with large and small dogs and have pet sit for coworkers with large dogs, cats, bunnies, etc. I recently lost my soul dog to hemangiosarcoma and want to make a difference for other dogs and provide the care they need. I just do not have it in my heart to remove her from my profile just yet. My girl had special needs such as leash/barrier reactivity, aggression, and a bite history prior to adopting her. I am comfortable working with dogs with those needs as well. She had taken several medications over the years and I am comfortable giving pet meds. On the first day, an unexpected issue prevented her from getting into my house while I was on a 15-hour flight and unable to respond. She spent a considerable amount of time trying to gain access, repeatedly attempted to contact me, and explored other options because she was genuinely worried about my dog being left inside without care. Although she ultimately had to leave, her persistence and concern showed me that she took the situation—and her responsibility for my dog—very seriously.
