A typical day
Every pet has a unique personality, and I tailor each visit to what they enjoy most! Whether it's playing with their favorite toys, going for a walk, tossing a ball, enjoying enrichment activities, or simply spending quality time together, I'll make sure they get plenty of attention and affection. If your pet prefers a quieter visit, I'm just as happy to offer gentle companionship, belly rubs, or cuddles at their own pace. My goal is to keep your pet happy, comfortable, and engaged while you're away.

Hi! I'm an experienced animal lover with over 9 years of professional animal care experience. I spent 6 years working as a veterinary assistant in an animal hospital, where I cared for dogs and cats of all ages, assisted with medical treatments, monitored recovery, and learned how to recognize signs of illness or emergencies. Before that, I worked for 3 years at a dog training facility, where I gained hands-on experience handling dogs with a wide variety of personalities, energy levels, ages and training needs. I've also been a pet owner my entire life and currently have two cats and one dog, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, medication, lots of cuddles, or simply someone dependable while you're away, I'll treat them with the same patience, attention, and care that I give my own pets. My veterinary background allows me to notice changes in behavior or health that others may overlook, giving you extra peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

I hired her to care for my dog while I was out of the country for two weeks, and she did a great job. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my dog’s well-being. On the first day, an unexpected issue prevented her from getting into my house while I was on a 15-hour flight and unable to respond. She spent a considerable amount of time trying to gain access, repeatedly attempted to contact me, and explored other options because she was genuinely worried about my dog being left inside without care. Although she ultimately had to leave, her persistence and concern showed me that she took the situation—and her responsibility for my dog—very seriously. Throughout the rest of my trip, she was dependable, communicated well, and took good care of my dog. I felt comfortable knowing he was in capable hands and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker or pet sitter.
Emily has cared for my cats and dogs over the years, including feeding, medications, dog walks and quality TLC. Emily treats each animal as her own, focusing on specific instructions I leave with her. She is attentive to details of their care as well as their temperaments. I am confident that they have a responsible adult with good judgment looking after them and my mind is at rest. I know Emily worked in an animal clinic for a time and has her own cats and dog. Her dog has gone through numerous training programs and Emily pays attention to body language to keep everyone safe. You won’t be disappointed if entrusting your fur baby(ies) to Emily. Emily is the best kitty and dog mom I’ve ever known. She is so keen to any changes in her pets and even mine! She ensures they all get treated with the same undeniable love and affection, while also ensuring they get the best and safest care imaginable.
