I have many years of experience with animals such as cats, dogs, rabbits, sugar glider, birds ect. I can take short walks or long walks or just come by and spend time with your pet. It is all up to you. I have a reliable car and will always be responsible with your pet because lets face it, they are just like our children. I will customize a visit to suit your pets needs. Currently I have four cats (Toby, Boots, Cali and Batman) and two dogs. Chico my boxer who is now 13 years old that we have had since he was 6 weeks old. Chuey our American Staffordshire terrier who is now 2 years old. I am a stay at home mom to 5 children who are all grown now and wife of almost 25 years. I am currently looking for something to do to just get out the house and what better way to do so, is to spend time with great fur babies. I have made Rover my full time job because I love it so much. I try not to turn anyone away unless to far or I don't have any availability on my calendar. I only do walks and drop ins because I have my family to take care of and my dogs as well. I always have a meet and greet with the owner and fur baby. When we meet we will discuss the do's and don'ts, the likes and dislikes, and what is the best care for your pet.

I do not do pet sitting in my home because I have 2 dogs, 4 cats, 1 bearded dragon and 2 birds but I will take the best care of your fur baby in your home. I always take precautions and do meet and greets to find out the best care for your fur baby. I treat them like I would treat my own and mine are very spoiled 🙂

Melissa is absolutely wonderful!!! My dog has only been left alone one time, so I was nervous leaving her for 9 days. But Melissa put all my worries to rest. I really enjoyed receiving the detailed reports and pictures twice a day. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing she was well cared for. I highly recommend Melissa! I will definitely hire her again for future vacations.
Melissa is great with our cat. We appreciate that Melissa gives kitty plenty of attention and gives us a detailed report daily.
Melissa took great care of our fussy old cat. She gave her lots of attention and pets and sent several pictures each day.
Thanks for the support checking in on our kitties while we were out of town for family business. It was one less thing to worry about while away, knowing they were well and looked after.

Melissa is the best, she is skilled at medication administration and dealing with cranky senior kitties. She is very reassuring while you're away, yet also will take really good care of your cat. She also watered my plants, kept my place clean and opened and put away deliveries! So glad I found her on Rover!
