About: Hi everyone! I'm Charlotte and I'm a college student majoring in Wildlife Conservation. I've always loved all kinds of animals, and I have two cats at home! I have sitting experience with cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, rabbits, fish, and geckos. I’m a very active person and would love to play with dogs or take them on long walks. I also really enjoy a nice long cuddle session! I have so much love for animals and I love taking care of them. Please reach out if you think I'm a good fit for your pet! I will be able to fit pet care in very well. My other job is babysitting for two kids, and that has very flexible timing and I can always take them with me if needed. I can drive so I will be able to stop by houses easily! I can take dogs into my backyard where they can run around, but they won't be able to go in my house because I have my own pets. Likewise, I cannot bring cats into my own home because my cats do not get along with others. But I am more than willing to visit my client's home and stay overnight if necessary!
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and caring for pets is something I genuinely love. I helped raise my childhood dog from the time I was very young, and she lived to be 17 years old. Through her, I gained experience caring for senior dogs, including providing patience and support during her dementia later in life. I also currently have two cats that I help care for every day. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, play with, and check in on their pets, and becoming a veterinarian has always been one of my dream careers because of how much I care about animals. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to work around my clients’ needs and availability. Since I’m not working a job right now, I’m able to provide dependable care at different times throughout the day and can stay with your pet as long as needed to make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and safe. I genuinely love animals and have been around pets my entire life. I have experience caring for both cats and senior dogs, including helping care for my childhood dog who lived to be 17 years old. I understand how important patience, attention, and trust are when caring for someone’s pet, and I’ll always treat your animals with the same love and care I give my own pets.
“Brianna was communicative, kind and clearly took wonderful care of our pup! She provided thorough details about her time with our doggo and the pictures were proof of just how happy our little one was in her care. 5/5, 10/10 and any other top ratings we could share 🌟”

“Tonya has been so great with our dog Montana, she is patient and gives Montana time to warm up. We are so grateful that we found Tonya and she gets our pup out for quality walks during the day.”

About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, gaining experience in cat, dog, and even fish pet care. Currently, I have worked as a Kennel Assistant at Hayfield Animal Hospital for the past year. Through my job as a Kennel Assistant, I clean dog/cat cages, provide new food/water, and take dog boarders on walks. Due to my experience in this job, I have the skills to handle animals with different behavioral issues/needs comfortably. Furthermore, I have been a volunteer through the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation for the past three years. As a volunteer, I clean cat cages, provide new food, water, and socialization, along with holding meet and greets with potential adopters at the 7 Corners PetSmart. I have also taken a two-year Veterinary Sciences course at my high school where I gained hands-on experience with different animal handling techniques and was educated on disease and behavior signs and symptoms. Overall, my experiences in animal pet care and handling have given me the ability to be comfortable and safe when handling different animals. I'm currently working part-time for the Summer, so I will be available a good amount of the time to help take care of your pets! I am normally available most mornings and nights. I expect to be unavailable some mornings from 6am-12pm and some evenings from 3pm-7pm. However, this varies depending on my schedule for the week. Having pets of my own for the past 18 years, I know first-hand how important your pets are. Not only will I provide them with a safe environment, but I will treat them as my own, making sure that they remain happy and enjoy their time with my while you are away! When in my client's home, I will be neat and tidy, cleaning up after myself and your pet(s) if needed. Personally, I understand how hard it is to be away from your fur baby, so I will send video or picture updates as requested!
About: Hey! I’m Menelik. I grew up in Ethiopia with a lovely dog in my household. I also worked at an animal shelter for 2 summers and also volunteering when I can these days. My main responsibilities are feeding, playing, walking and bathing sometimes. I’m a student at GMU, currently taking summer classes. I’m free weekday afternoons and weekends too. Let me know when you need me and I’ll try to best meet your needs. I ask the dog parent what the dog loves to do and their behavior and I follow that. I walk slowly so that the dogs enjoy nature. I will let them run around in an inclosed area with permission.

“Our family booked Jenesis because we had an off month of work schedules and she was able to go above and beyond for us. Jenesis was incredible with our two large pups. She was so patient with them on days they had extra wiggles and she was an excellent communicator with my family. She took them on long walks everyday and they both got much better on leash because of Jenesis. If we ever need a dog walker again we will absolutely be reaching out to her and suggest you all do the same! I cannot say enough good things about Jenesis! Maple and Raja love you!”

“David has done an excellent job with Zelda this week. She looks forward to his arrival and is excited to go for a walk with him. We appreciate his care with Zelda and his flexibility with his time.”

About: I work remotely, which means your pet gets nearly all-day attention, not just check-ins. I truly treat every animal in my care like my own—attentive, loving, and respectful of their unique needs. I’m comfortable with crate training, potty routines, and simple training for puppies. I’m also experienced with senior dogs who need medication, mobility support, or a slower pace. Because I work from home full-time, pet care is seamlessly built into my daily life. I take regular breaks for walks, playtime, meals, and attention. I’m able to quickly respond to anything your pet needs throughout the day or night. I’m not rushing in between jobs—they’re truly my priority. In my home, your dog will enjoy a calm, crate-free environment (unless requested by you) where they’re free to roam, relax, and be part of the family. They’ll have access to comfy resting spots, daily exercise, and enrichment, and companionship. I follow all care instructions closely—whether that’s feeding routines, meds, or preferred methods of releasing energy.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters on Rover when wanting to choose me as your trusted sitter is that I am a hardworking, reliable, and welcoming soul. I have had a multitude of different animals since I was a child such as; dogs, cats, reptiles, and small animals like hamsters or rabbits. I am always up for a new challenge and willing to always find a solution, as in high school I helped work for a privately owned dog/cat-sitting and walking service. Within the services I provided, I was able to learn how to properly train and work with any animal that may have a special little personality using both a cooperative work strategy with the animal and creating and building rooms for trust and safety. I truthfully am grateful for my 4 years of service as it has provided the confidence and stamina to work for Rover this summer. Having someone come into your home is a sacred and trustworthy process, and I want to make that experience as calm and nurturing as possible for all your furry members of your home. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon, and if you have any questions please feel free to reach out. I am currently on summer break from Longwood University as I have just finished my 2nd year and I am very flexible and free with my time as of lately! I am spending the majority of my time currently with my family spending quality time, taking care of my three year old sister, and of course, giving my 4 cats extra cuddles each day since being home. When at home, I always want to prioritize safety for anyone that is in my surroundings, creating room for exploration for my 4 cats through active playing with their toys and can create separate feeding schedules for them as well. If my animals were to ever feel unsafe or I have sensed that their safety needs are not being met, I am able to quickly assess a situation hands-on and create room for proactive structure that can provide both my animals and I the best possible cuddles and memories. As well, when taking care of my 3 year old sister, I always create an attentive headspace for myself, using skills of active listening and problem solving solutions that can help my sister better process both her cognitive emotions and physical needs that she may need to express. I always want to create rooms for awareness and structure, and I believe I could do this for your animals.
“Melissa was great. My dog doesn’t always walk well for new people and he took to her right away. She took the time to come by for a meet and greet and we were really impressed!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have nearly 7 years of dog sitting experience starting in middle school. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities and I pride myself on being extremely attentive, reliable, and detail oriented with every pet. I have experience handling multiple dogs at once including caring for up to five dogs for 7+ days, so I’m very comfortable with both longer stays in higher-energy households. I treat every dog like my own and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I also provide consistent updates so you can feel confident and not ease while you’re away. I’m a student at Virginia Tech with a flexible schedule, typically having at most two classes a day. Outside of class, I spent most of my time at home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. My routine makes it easy for me to incorporate walks, feeding, playtime, and check-in consistently. I’m able to adapt to each pets needs and schedule, whether that means early mornings, midday visits, or evening care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet friendly apartment with a fence dog area, so dogs have a safe place to get outside and play. I’m very attentive and make sure pets are always supervised and cared for based on their specific needs and routines. I also keep owners updated regularly so you always know how your pet is doing.

Oluwatosin is a wonderful dog walker who always arrives on time, has a gentle and loving demeanor with our dogs demeanor.
