About: Hi everyone! I'm Charlotte and I'm a college student majoring in Wildlife Conservation. I've always loved all kinds of animals, and I have two cats at home! I have sitting experience with cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, rabbits, fish, and geckos. I’m a very active person and would love to play with dogs or take them on long walks. I also really enjoy a nice long cuddle session! I have so much love for animals and I love taking care of them. Please reach out if you think I'm a good fit for your pet! I will be able to fit pet care in very well. My other job is babysitting for two kids, and that has very flexible timing and I can always take them with me if needed. I can drive so I will be able to stop by houses easily! I can take dogs into my backyard where they can run around, but they won't be able to go in my house because I have my own pets. Likewise, I cannot bring cats into my own home because my cats do not get along with others. But I am more than willing to visit my client's home and stay overnight if necessary!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and caring for pets is something I genuinely love. I helped raise my childhood dog from the time I was very young, and she lived to be 17 years old. Through her, I gained experience caring for senior dogs, including providing patience and support during her dementia later in life. I also currently have two cats that I help care for every day. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, play with, and check in on their pets, and becoming a veterinarian has always been one of my dream careers because of how much I care about animals. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to work around my clients’ needs and availability. Since I’m not working a job right now, I’m able to provide dependable care at different times throughout the day and can stay with your pet as long as needed to make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and safe. I genuinely love animals and have been around pets my entire life. I have experience caring for both cats and senior dogs, including helping care for my childhood dog who lived to be 17 years old. About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, gaining experience in cat, dog, and even fish pet care. Currently, I have worked as a Kennel Assistant at Hayfield Animal Hospital for the past year. Through my job as a Kennel Assistant, I clean dog/cat cages, provide new food/water, and take dog boarders on walks. Due to my experience in this job, I have the skills to handle animals with different behavioral issues/needs comfortably. Furthermore, I have been a volunteer through the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation for the past three years. As a volunteer, I clean cat cages, provide new food, water, and socialization, along with holding meet and greets with potential adopters at the 7 Corners PetSmart. I have also taken a two-year Veterinary Sciences course at my high school where I gained hands-on experience with different animal handling techniques and was educated on disease and behavior signs and symptoms. Overall, my experiences in animal pet care and handling have given me the ability to be comfortable and safe when handling different animals. I'm currently working part-time for the Summer, so I will be available a good amount of the time to help take care of your pets! I am normally available most mornings and nights. I expect to be unavailable some mornings from 6am-12pm and some evenings from 3pm-7pm. However, this varies depending on my schedule for the week. Having pets of my own for the past 18 years, I know first-hand how important your pets are. Not only will I provide them with a safe environment, but I will treat them as my own, making sure that they remain happy and enjoy their time with my while you are away! When in my client's home, I will be neat and tidy, cleaning up after myself and your pet(s) if needed. Personally, I understand how hard it is to be away from your fur baby, so I will send video or picture updates as requested!

About: Hey! I’m Menelik. I grew up in Ethiopia with a lovely dog in my household. I also worked at an animal shelter for 2 summers and also volunteering when I can these days. My main responsibilities are feeding, playing, walking and bathing sometimes. I’m a student at GMU, currently taking summer classes. I’m free weekday afternoons and weekends too. Let me know when you need me and I’ll try to best meet your needs. I ask the dog parent what the dog loves to do and their behavior and I follow that. I walk slowly so that the dogs enjoy nature. I will let them run around in an inclosed area with permission.

I go to Nova Community College full time and work part time as an RBT (registered behavior technician) with autistic children. I own 3 dogs of my own at the current moment, so taking care of them is part of my daily routine. Anything I can do. I have a fenced in backyard at my home and i let my dogs walk freely. About: What sets me apart from other sitters on Rover when wanting to choose me as your trusted sitter is that I am a hardworking, reliable, and welcoming soul. I have had a multitude of different animals since I was a child such as; dogs, cats, reptiles, and small animals like hamsters or rabbits. I am always up for a new challenge and willing to always find a solution, as in high school I helped work for a privately owned dog/cat-sitting and walking service. When at home, I always want to prioritize safety for anyone that is in my surroundings, creating room for exploration for my 4 cats through active playing with their toys and can create separate feeding schedules for them as well. If my animals were to ever feel unsafe or I have sensed that their safety needs are not being met, I am able to quickly assess a situation hands-on and create room for proactive structure that can provide both my animals and I the best possible cuddles and memories. As well, when taking care of my 3 year old sister, I always create an attentive headspace for myself, using skills of active listening and problem solving solutions that can help my sister better process both her cognitive emotions and physical needs that she may need to express. I always want to create rooms for awareness and structure, and I believe I could do this for your animals.
