4. Stephanie B.
About: We had a Bichon Frise for 18.5 years. She was a wonderful pet but I am not yet ready for a new pet in our family. I love dogs and am excited to host your friendly dog in my home! I have two kids ages 10 and 12 so please make sure your dog likes kids. We have a good size yard but not fenced so will keep your pet on a leash and walk 3-4 times per day. I work from home 3 days per week which allows me to be flexible with your dog's schedule. On the two days I go into DC, I can be flexible to be home within 8 hours to walk your dog. I don't have any pets at this time so your dog can be our focus. Large yard but no fence so I will plan to walk your dog 3-4 times per day and extra quick bathroom breaks as needed for your normal schedule. Pets are not allowed on furniture.
5. Azaria S.
“Azaria provided such wonderful peace of mind to me while she watched my German Shepherd George. She is very kind and I knew right away I could trust her with my boy, which was very important since having just relocated to the area. Hands down, no questions asked I would rebook her care and services. She is absolutely wonderful!!! I know my sweet boy George really enjoyed his time with her. Azaria is highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable trustworthy kind person to help with their furry ones.”

About: I grew up with dogs since I was a little kid. I’ve fostered many dogs through various rescues in the area including the local animal shelter where I volunteered as a foster coordinator for 2 years. Through fostering I’ve learned that dogs need time and reassurance to adjust to the new environment. I am cautious to introduce dogs appropriately and recognize when each dog needs space. For our dogs, this means a happy time out in the crate with a bone or just a different area of the house. Positive reinforcement is used to motivate our dogs to follow the pack and obey house rules. Additionally, I have 5+ years of volunteering and training with my senior dog, where we visited different clients for therapy services. We are the perfect place for pups that need someone to hang with during your work day, as we work from home. My husband and I both work from home and take care of our dogs during the day. There’s plenty of time for dog walks and play time in the fenced yard. I have a well maintained and fenced in yard. I currently have 3 dogs of my own that are very dog friendly. Off leash time in the back yard, dog walks and crating are all options. We have a surplus of dog toys and comfy beds for lounging pups. Our dogs are a mix of couch potatoes and playful pups. Our dogs are small, medium, and large dogs, so there’s a playmate for everyone.

She is so well behaved and loves playing with other dogs! Because of this, I have a lot of understanding with dogs and their natural behaviors! I have also had some experience taking care of pets for my friends and family! It’s safe to say that you can call me the dog whisperer. I am currently a teacher working from home. Therefore, I am pretty much available everyday to take care of your precious doggies. I am very flexible! During the covid 19 pandemic, my family and I are being very cautious, following social distancing guidelines and taking all the necessary precautions to ensure health and safety! I have a large fenced backyard where your dog can play, two individual crates if the dog needs to be crated, and my wonderful 2 year old dog to keep your furry friend company! I take our pup for a walk at least twice a day. Therefore, if your doggy needs a walk we can surely take them. Taking care of pets is a natural thing for me. I can always find time to take care of them. I plans ahead of time to fit the next day to accommodate my chores, work and pets needs. I make sure to always watch the dogs that I watch and supervise play, as well as make sure they receive all the attention and care that they need. I will treat your furry friend like a family member!
