About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I enjoy taking care of animals, spending time with them. I’m willing to work with your puppies or senior dogs providing good care. I have a lot of free time right now and would love to spend it helping take care of other dogs whether that’s walking them, playing with them or simply giving them attention. “Christy is everything you would want your Rover host to be. Logistically she checked all the boxes living not too far from major highway I took to my office. Easy to drop off/pick up and get back on the highway again. She responded quickly when I made an inquiry about a weekly daycare hosting for my shy miniature poodle. She demonstrated kindness and patience when our Meet and Greet began later than scheduled. During his stay, Christy texted pictures of Blinky going on a long walk or playing in the backyard. Lovely family took very good care of him. On the second day, I dropped Blinky off, he rushed through the front door without looking back. To me that said a lot because Blinky was not a social butterfly by any stretch of imagination. I can whole heartily give Christy five stars, just for that alone!”

He usually backs away from strangers and hides behind me but she was able to establish a rapport with him quickly by sitting on the floor and talking to him until he became comfortable enough to let her pet him.”

About: Hi there! My family, neighbors, and friends have owned dogs as small as a chihuahua to as large as a lab, cats, rabbits, etc. and I have always been the person they called on! I have plenty experience administering medication, sticking to schedules/following directions, and sending updates! I understand how much trust goes into these decisions and I’m honored that you’re considering me. I would take care of your pet as if they were my own. I work largely from home (except Wednesdays) so I’m home and available to care for your furry family. I have flexibility Wednesday morning and afternoon if provided enough notice. I care for pets under the guidance of their parent. I ask for details about feeding, potty breaks, medication, preferred play, etc to make sure your pup is comfortable.

About: If I could do life all over again, I would be a veterinarian and run a shelter. I’ve had pets of all kinds my entire life and sometimes like them better than some people, if we’re being honest. 😉 I have volunteered and fostered for a well known local animal rescue for the past several years, taking in fosters and getting them ready for their forever home. I love nurturing dogs from being unsure and scared from shelter life, to being happy, loved and confident. I currently have 2 dogs, a senior Yorkie and a young GSD mix. They are my children, and yours will be too! I have had pets cross the rainbow bridge and it taught me a lot about senior care and medications, so you can feel confident with that as well. I’ve used Rover as a client and I give to my fur-families what I expected from my walkers/sitters - PEACE OF MIND knowing your baby is safe, happy, loved and spoiled. I work from home and have good flexibility with my schedule. My backyard is townhouse small. It's great for potty breaks, but not running around. We take several walks a day for exercise and enrichment. Safety and comfort are my top priorities, so please note that I do not consider pets without a full profile, temperament description, full vaccinations, vet information, etc. Also, my home has all hardwood floors, so dogs with a fear of them, probably wouldn't be very happy here. 😢 Lastly, I am unable to board (for overnight or daycare) any dog, puppies included, that is not FULLY house trained. I have my own consulting business and work from home full time. On occasion I'll have lunch meetings or errands to run, but never for more than a couple hours. I have a small fenced yard for potty breaks. My dogs are dog and people friendly, but will give signals and respect for personal space.

“BEST DOG SITTER EVER!!! I could not have asked for a better dog sitter. Carlos provided many updates, pictures, videos, and I could tell from all of the pictures and videos that my little guy felt safe and comfortable, which has not always been the case with other sitters. I could also tell that Carlos genuinely enjoyed my dog. Walks, sunbathing, playing ball, cuddles and naps on the sofa. It really was like my dogs home away from home. I honestly feel like I won the lottery by finding Carlos to take care of my boy while I am at work during the day. My heart is so happy and my dog was so happy and content after his stay with Carlos.
