About: If I could do life all over again, I would be a veterinarian and run a shelter. I’ve had pets of all kinds my entire life and sometimes like them better than some people, if we’re being honest. 😉 I have volunteered and fostered for a well known local animal rescue for the past several years, taking in fosters and getting them ready for their forever home. I love nurturing dogs from being unsure and scared from shelter life, to being happy, loved and confident. I currently have 2 dogs, a senior Yorkie and a young GSD mix. I work from home and have good flexibility with my schedule. My backyard is townhouse small. It's great for potty breaks, but not running around. We take several walks a day for exercise and enrichment. Safety and comfort are my top priorities, so please note that I do not consider pets without a full profile, temperament description, full vaccinations, vet information, etc. Also, my home has all hardwood floors, so dogs with a fear of them, probably wouldn't be very happy here. 😢 Lastly, I am unable to board (for overnight or daycare) any dog, puppies included, that is not FULLY house trained. I have my own consulting business and work from home full time. On occasion I'll have lunch meetings or errands to run, but never for more than a couple hours. I have a small fenced yard for potty breaks. My dogs are dog and people friendly, but will give signals and respect for personal space.

If your dog uses a crate, we’re happy to accommodate it and have space to set one up as needed.
