About: I’ve been around cats and dogs ever since I was born and currently own 2 cats. I started pet sitting when I was 12 and have experience with both drop-in visits and boarding. I also work part time at an animal shelter. I currently work from home, so I would love to spend time with your pets during breaks or in the evenings! Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays I work part time at an animal rescue, but otherwise I am pretty flexible. I have handled many different types of animals and know to educate myself ahead of time. About: I’ve been a devoted dog owner and animal lover for more than 20 years and caring for pets has always been a meaningful part of my life. I have trained and baby sat all types of fur babies before joining the military and currently still am. I grew up with so many different breeds of dogs. Leah was so incredibly kind to Ari and Sundance and we were so grateful for her help while we had an out of town trip. She was loving to them, very communicative, and even went out of the way to make sure that one of our pups didn’t jump around too much after eating his meal after I mentioned how we try to keep him settled. She followed everything exactly, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She even brushed my long-haired cats, which I really appreciated and wasn’t something I expected. When I got home, they were happy, well cared for, and the whole experience was completely stress-free. It was obvious they had been looked after with genuine care and attention to detail. I would absolutely trust her with my cats again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and attentive pet sitter!
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. One of our senior dogs is very anxious when we travel and has always struggled with boarding, often refusing to eat. Having him stay at home in his familiar environment with check ins with Macy made a huge difference! He was relaxed, happy, and eating well. We felt completely at ease while away and are so grateful for the care she provided.
Emily did a wonderful job dropping in to visit our 2 cats while we were away for a long weekend. She is very responsive and sent detailed updates and photos for each day so I felt assured they were being taken care great care of. Would love to use her again for future trips!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
