About: I have always grown up with dogs in my family.In addition to helping train and take care of family & friends dogs. I work a job Tuesday through Friday so i am only available after work for walks on weekdays but i am available anytime of weekends. I have always loved dogs. I currently have a cockapoo puppy that i am training to one day be a service animal. However, when I am in town, I would love nothing more than to care for your pet and take them for walks around the neighborhood. I work full time so i am only available to walk in the evening on weekdays . But i am available anytime on the weekends (Saturday- Sunday). I have one friendly dog to keep your dog company with a little patio. I have place in the house to crate train to separate when necessary.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and taken care of all of my friend’s and family’s animals. I have also walked dogs for a friend who runs a dog walking business. I worked for her for over a year. I currently stay home with my three daughters, however they are all in school. So I am pretty much free during the day most days. I will stay as long as the pet needs for home visits. For walks, I will try to walk the dog for close to 30 minutes. If they can’t/don’t want to walk that long, we can hang out and play in the house.

About: I have been a high school teacher for 26 years. I dog-sit for my friends and sister all the time, and even for my friend's cat sometimes too! I also used to dog-sit for my parents' dog for 2-3 months while they were away over the winters, but unfortunately Mollie passed away a few years ago. She was 17 and we spoiled her! I grew up with dogs (poodles) and I love animals so I thought this would be a fun way to earn extra money! I really enjoy dog sitting, and have been doing this for about 9 years now and I look forward to meeting your pup! I work full time and am away from my home from 7:15-3:30 during the week. Weekends I am either home or in and out throughout the day, but have plenty of time in the evenings or on the weekends to go for long walks with the dog or even a hike if they are up for it! I usually take the dogs for about 3-4 walks a day, usually at least one longer walk! I also can relax and sit on the couch with the dog too, and give lots of belly rubs, of course!

She is very patient and so good with all of them, our cats loved her, including our skittish girl. Leaving my dogs behind while out of town for six days was a first for me, so I was naturally pretty nervous going into the process. I interviewed several people before meeting Velkin in person. My girlfriend and I hosted her for a meet and greet, and her genuine, welcoming presence stood out immediately. There was nothing fake or performative about her. She has the kind of ground-level authenticity that puts you at ease right away. My Chihuahuas took to her immediately as well, which said everything. If you know anything about Chihuahuas, they do not warm up to strangers quickly, if at all. Hiring her was an easy decision, and she did not disappoint. She came by twice a day to handle feeding, water, outdoor time, and spending quality time with them. Beyond basic care, she treated my dogs like her own. I received regular photos and detailed updates after her visits, giving me complete peace of mind. I also felt totally comfortable giving her unfettered access to my home while I was away. On top of everything, she was remarkably flexible. When I came home a day early, she was gracious enough to modify the booking and remove that final day. Since she had reserved that slot for me, it would have been completely fair for her to charge for the full six days, so that gesture was unexpected and extremely kind. Velkin did a phenomenal job, and I have zero regrets about hiring her. She provides world class service, and I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. Amelia is awesome!!!! Was our first time trying this service and she instantly put us at ease. Kind, caring, and obviously passionate about taking good care of our furry family members. When she stopped by for a meet & greet, they (my 2 enthusiastic big dogs and one nonchalant cat) immediately sensed she was there to engage and play with them and I knew all would be well, and it was!! Patricha did a great job taking care of my cats. She took time and effort to gain their confidence and play with them. She was reliable and timely with her visits and great about following directions for feeding, etc. She went above and beyond to leave things neat and clean. She was great about communicating, and that freed me from worrying. When I came home, I found my cats relaxed and happy. Very grateful, and would hire her again (and hopefully will).
Rachel was the best! She is competent and communicative. It was easy to go out of town because she loved on my dog and sent wonderful photos and fun stories about their adventures! Both my boys are older (13 and almost 15) and one has 3 legs. She was great at keeping my reactive big dog calm and he loved all her cuddles and treats and trips outside! She comforted my small tripod through the thunderstorm and he greatly appreciated her lifting him up onto the couch for snuggles and her carrying him home when he got tired after she let him explore and sniff out all his fave places.
