“Dana is a rare gem find!!! Trustworthy reliable and great communication. I have two dogs she walks together who no matter how much training we do always act like they’ve never been outside of leashes before. One is aggressive relative the other is easily overly excited. She handles them like an absolute champ and I know they are always safe in her hands!”

About: Hi my name is Annie and I'm truly passionate about taking care and loving animals as like they were my own! Currently I am a nursing student but still manage to have time. I would care for your furry friends as if they were my patients at the hospital! I am a very active individual and would love to get paid to play with your furry kids! With permission of course, I would love to take your dog on adventures since life is too short and would love to enjoy life and why not have some company! Whether it's with me or other pets! I also love watching other pets interacting with others! I Look forward to hearing from you and hopefully booking with me! I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I love using my breaks to step away from the computer, get some fresh air, and take walks with my pup. After work, you’ll usually find me going for a run or getting my steps in with my dog. I’d love to have your furry friend join me! I have a very friendly and playful 3-year-old Bernedoodle who loves making new friends! I have a spacious, pet-friendly home with a yard (not fenced), plus a great, walkable neighborhood where we love getting outside. Your pup will have plenty of space, exercise, and companionship!

“Had a last minute change of plans and needed to have someone walk our pup for a couple of days. This was our first time using this service, and Marcela was nothing short of great!”

“Reagan was an excellent and caring sitter who paid great attention to Dutchess and made sure she was comfortable with a stranger in the house. Will absolutely look to book her again!”

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs, taking care of both and learning about different temperaments and how to love them the best. I'm more of a cat girl, but I love dogs and I love the playful ones!. I also have a year of experience working at an animal shelter. Walking dogs, feeding and watering them, taking them out to go potty, picking up after them, playing with them outside as well as in their rooms, making and giving them frozen treats. I also worked with the shelter's cats, feeding and watering them, cleaning their litter boxes, bathing them, playing with them, giving treats. I also gave both dogs and cats various medications, whether that be hiding pills in food or applying gels and creams. I am currently self-employed as a nail artist, so I have all the time in the world to devote to your fur babies! I don't have any specific days I need off, I have full availability! Since I have experience in an animal shelter, I can safely walk your dogs and take them out in your yard to play or go potty! I like to say I'm pretty good at being able to gain a pet's trust, treats go a long way in making friends😅😅
About: With over 75 dogs under my care, past and present, I bring unparalleled expertise and heartfelt dedication to every pet care assignment. My extensive experience spans all sizes, ages, backgrounds, and needs of dogs, ensuring your furry friend receives not just care, but genuine companionship and understanding. From fostering German Shepherds to volunteering at local shelters, I've honed my skills in nurturing pets through transitions. Each visit isn't just a task—it's an opportunity to forge a bond and tailor care to your pet's unique needs, leaving them wagging their tail with joy. I am a freelancer/contractor so I have plenty of time to fit time with your pups into my day. It's an excellent break for me and I look forward to every visit! As a provider of walks and check-ins I will meet with you and your dog the first time to establish a relationship and acclimate with your dog while making sure this is a relationship that works for everyone. After that we can work together to make the most of my time with your pup regardless of the service provided.
About: I’ve been taking care of puppies since I was 15, back in my home country; I used to take them for walks, bathe them, feed and water them, play with them, and give them lots of affection! I currently work part-time in catering events; my work schedule and days vary. Generally, I am free in the mornings; on Sundays and Mondays, I am almost always free all day. I have a pretty big yard and a very friendly 16-year-old little dog to keep him company! The house is also large and cool; it is never too cold or too hot. We are careful with food and water—always bottled, never from the tap.
“Hieu and Anna were able to accommodate a last minute drop-in because we had to be out the whole day. Our high energy Aussies got to see their favorite aunties and loved the visit. Thank you ladies!”

About: Having taken care of a precious Springer Spaniel for 14 years (Cocoa), I'll do my best to take care of your dog as if he or she were my own. I'm usually quite responsive when it comes to bookings and arrangements, responding within 15-20 minutes. I'll take them out to play and walk and feed them at least three times a day. I'll also bathe them, if need be. Most importantly, I will be as flexible and accommodating as possible to ensure that your dog will have fun while with me. I currently have open availability in my schedule, so I could most definitely sit your dog full-time if necessary. Above all else, I just love working with dogs as they are my favorite animal.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Springfield
I had a wonderful experience with McKenna! I was away traveling, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing my pets were being well cared for. She was dependable, attentive, and kept me updated, which I really appreciated. It was clear that my pets were comfortable and well taken care of while I was gone. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pets. I will absolutely request her service again!

Sarah was amazing. She played with Chesney, brushed him (and found the brush even when I couldn’t clearly remember where it was) and actually hid and observed him to figure out how he was getting through the fences inside the house. Chesney is a big guy and high energy and it didn’t faze Sarah! She kept me posted and really went the extra mile to make sure Chesney and my home were safe. I’d recommend Sarah to anyone and will definitely use her again

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
