About: I have 13 years of experience, caring for dogs and cats. I owned and cared for my German Shepherd dog for a wonderful 13 years before she passed away. I love dogs of all sizes and I feel comfortable around all breeds. I am a former finance professional who left corporate and I am now retired early. I would love to walk your dog or take care of your pet. I am retired and my days are very open to take care of your pet. My main goal is to spend time with your pet and take them for a walks. I cannot have pets of my own because my husband is allergic to everything furry. I cannot care for pets in my own home, but I am happy to care for them in your home. I will play with your dog, take them for a walk, feed them, administer medication, and spend time with them. Most dogs love me and I am comfortable around any breed including German Shepherd, Doberman, Boxer, etc.

Raising and training Koa has given me hands-on experience with puppy care, basic training, routines, socialization, and understanding a dog’s individual personality and needs. About: Ever since my family got our first dog I have fallen in love with taking care of animals. I have taken care of my pet, friends and family’s pets, and recently even worked at a doggy daycare and hotel! I am looking to be independent with my business and have a better schedule so that I can focus on my vet school. I have taken care of animals without teeth, with pills, with funky weird behaviors, with asthma, etc. I am still working and going to school, but I am hoping to make the transition into Rover. Leaving my dogs behind while out of town for six days was a first for me, so I was naturally pretty nervous going into the process. I interviewed several people before meeting Velkin in person. My girlfriend and I hosted her for a meet and greet, and her genuine, welcoming presence stood out immediately. There was nothing fake or performative about her. She has the kind of ground-level authenticity that puts you at ease right away. My Chihuahuas took to her immediately as well, which said everything. If you know anything about Chihuahuas, they do not warm up to strangers quickly, if at all. Hiring her was an easy decision, and she did not disappoint. She came by twice a day to handle feeding, water, outdoor time, and spending quality time with them. Beyond basic care, she treated my dogs like her own. I received regular photos and detailed updates after her visits, giving me complete peace of mind. I also felt totally comfortable giving her unfettered access to my home while I was away. On top of everything, she was remarkably flexible. When I came home a day early, she was gracious enough to modify the booking and remove that final day. Since she had reserved that slot for me, it would have been completely fair for her to charge for the full six days, so that gesture was unexpected and extremely kind. Velkin did a phenomenal job, and I have zero regrets about hiring her. She provides world class service, and I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. I simply can’t say enough positive things about Rachel. She is wonderful with my cat and goes above and beyond. She brought in my mail. She watered my plants. She ran the dishwasher. My cat thrived under her care. Rachel gave us detailed updates on my cat’s health and well being. I couldn’t ask for better. I wish there were more cat sitters like her. If you are lucky enough to have her cat/pet sit for you, consider yourself most fortunate.
Delina is wonderful! She took my booking on short notice and had to followed detailed instructions to care for my cat who just had a surgery. She came on time and administered medication and monitored just as I requested. She provided detailed updates on his condition. Highly recommend!
Abel checked in on our cat, Boushy, while we were out of town. He was really easy to communicate with and took excellent care of our Boushy.
