“Carrington is amazing with cats! My cat has CKD and requires medication and special care, and Carrington handled great. She was attentive to every detail, followed all instructions carefully, and kept me updated with photos and messages. Both of my cats loved her.I would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter!” ❤️🐾”

“Sarah was able to check in on Sascha with very little notice. She took care of her just like her recent visits with no issues. Sarah is very reliable and can be counted on to handle whatever needs your pet may have. Thx Sarah!”

“Kyle is great. My almost 3 year-old golden retriever still has quite a bit of energy and I work a lot so it’s nice to know that I can rely on Kyle to periodically check in on Buddy and let him out if needed. 🙂 Highly recommended!”

“Dana was fantastic! Reliable, friendly, professional and diligent. This was our first experience with drop-in visits for our cats. We were a little nervous as they haven't been left alone for more than a day until now. Dana was wonderful in providing updates and keeping us in the loop with how they were doing. Everything was left clean and tidy when we returned and the cats were both happy. Highly recommend Dana!”

“Lucy was a wonderful dogsitter! She was very thoughtful and caring with our Binya and kept us updated with photos and notes the whole time we were gone. It was a HUGE relief to know that Binya was being cared for so well. Highly recommended!”

“Hannah was a fantastic sitter. She took the time to let my cat be at ease with her and then it was play and pets! She had great communication and made me feel at ease leaving my furbaby in her care!”

“Asia was very patient and affectionate with the dogs and they really got used to her rather quickly. I appreciate the awesome notes and photos and can see how comfortable they feel with her! :)”

About: Ever since my family got our first dog I have fallen in love with taking care of animals. I have taken care of my pet, friends and family’s pets, and recently even worked at a doggy daycare and hotel! I am looking to be independent with my business and have a better schedule so that I can focus on my vet school. I have taken care of animals without teeth, with pills, with funky weird behaviors, with asthma, etc. I am still working and going to school, but I am hoping to make the transition into Rover. Unfortunately my work schedule is inconsistent and doesn’t communicate in advance, but I will always try my best. Just reach out if unsure and I can set something up with you! I am so used to making sure that everything is as safe as possible. I am trained in dog scuffles, behaviors, and work a job where I am constantly cleaning up and making sure everyone is safe and clean. I am on my phone alot and take TONS of photos, so I will always be able to tell a story and send a photo of your baby(s).
“Vivianna did an amazing job watching our two cats and dog within our own home over the holiday weekend. It was easy to see that our pets were happy and well taken care of based on the numerous photos, videos, and updates she provided. Vivanna's visits included walking our dog, and also feeding, playing with and simply interacting with our pets. This gave us huge peace of mind and made it easier to enjoy being away knowing that our smaller family members were in great hands. We highly recommend Vivianna for all of your pets needs!”

“Very glad to have chosen Rover to watch our cat and connect with Sweta P. She's fabulous! We feel very comfortable that Hugo (that's the cat) is getting his attention, food, and loving while we are away. Loved getting photos of her visits. Will certainly book again with her. Jan”

“Zachary did a great job taking care of our kitties while were out the the country. I really appreciated the updates I received through the app, so i never had to worry!”

“Elysse did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away. She was very communicative and sent frequent updates, including photos and sweet little notes about how my cat was doing. It was so reassuring to know he was in good hands.”

“Will definitely continue to use Cassidy to care for our cat when we travel! She took excellent care of our cat and communicated with us about everything! We couldn't be happier!”

“Christine was so great and flexible with our senior pup. He had an unexpected health issue right before she left and she was great administering meds last minute and keeping us updated. Would highly recommend!”
“Jizelle was great with dog sitting for my pup. She was flexible with timing and communicated well. Would definitely recommend Jizelle and will be using her in the future.”

“10 stars if I could!!! Thank you so much for all your help! At the drop of a dime came and helped out super last minute for a situation! Thank you again, 10/10 support and derive for my cats! Literally saved my cats life! Thank you”
“Sid was very attentive, responsive, and caring while looking after our cat. He provided regular updates, including photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear that he genuinely cared about our cat’s well-being by taking the time to ensure he met her particular needs when she displayed some sadness about us being away. We highly recommend Sid to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. Will definitely be book again!”

Delina is wonderful! She took my booking on short notice and had to followed detailed instructions to care for my cat who just had a surgery. She came on time and administered medication and monitored just as I requested. She provided detailed updates on his condition. Highly recommend!
Rachel is truly the most incredible sitter I have ever had. One of my cats is extremely nervous around new people, and he took to her immediately thanks to her loving and calm demeanor. She was on top of everything, endlessly nice and responsive, and went above and beyond in every way. Leaving my kitties is always hard and stressful but Rachel genuinely allowed me to enjoy my trip knowing my cats were safe, happy, and well taken care of. Thank you, Rachel! We will miss you so much when we move. I wish I could book you a thousand times over!

Abel checked in on our cat, Boushy, while we were out of town. He was really easy to communicate with and took excellent care of our Boushy. He also shared very cute pictures with us and we could tell that our cat really liked him. Will absolutely be asking Abel to check in on Boushy again in the future! 😊

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Franconia. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
