“Paula is phenomenal. She went above and beyond to provide a super care for our girl. She is prompt and reliable. We’re glad to have found someone we can absolutely trust and count on. Thank you, Paula!”

“Thank you, Kelly, for checking on my cat! My trip was less stressful knowing he was in good hands, his litter boxes were cleaned, and his water was changed. Thanks for the photos too!”

“We currently have a very playful 13 week old puppy and Sweta is amazing with him. This is our very first puppy and we were very nervous of leaving him home alone. We decided to find a dog sitter on Rover. We are so happy that we decided to book with Sweta. Our pup is always happy whenever Sweta checks in on him and I never have to worry because I’m confident that she will take good care of our pup. We’ve booked multiple times with her and she’s always very responsive. She gives updates while she’s with our puppy and would check with me to ask if there is anything else my puppy needs before leaving him alone, which I really appreciate. If this is your first time booking a dog sitter on Rover and you’re looking for an amazing sitter who will take good care of your fur baby, book with Sweta!”

“Samantha was wonderful. I have five cats that needed to be looked after and one of them required special attention due to allergies. She made sure to check on each of them, ensuring their litter boxes were clean, medicines were given in the proper dosages, and everyone was happy and healthy. She also sent pictures of them for each visit. Would recommend!”

“Elysse is amazing! Incredibly flexible with my needs and, more importantly, my dogs needs. I have a senior dog with a laundry list of issues and he did very well under her care. She was very responsive and willing to help more as needed.”
“Zachary did a great job taking care of our kitties while were out the the country. I really appreciated the updates I received through the app, so i never had to worry!”

Michelle was fantastic! Took time to get to know Eloise’s setup and preferences before she started and sent great photos that I got to enjoy while I was away. She was careful and communicative the whole visit and I can tell my cat loved her. Definitely would re-book.

I had the pleasure of re-booking Daisy to watch my cat for another weekend. She was wonderful in providing timely updates and in dealing with some of the mischief my cat got into while we were gone. I am so grateful for her kindness in caring for our new cat and flexibility. Thank you Daisy!

Bethany is a superstar in caring for my cat, King! She provided me with daily updates and a photo, and I could tell from the look on his face that he was getting the care (and brushing!) he needed. She told me that he even gave her some "head bumps" which clearly showed how much he liked her.
Brittany was amazing - so patient and caring with my two senior cats. She sought them out when they were scared during a thunderstorm and when the smoke alarm had been beeping all day. She even moved my plants when one of the cats started eating them. My cats are old and skittish but they warmed up to her so quickly!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rose Hill. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
