After owning a service based business for over a decade I closed it in 2023 to pursue other businesses with more flexibility and less stress. I work and volunteer outside the home about 5-6 days a week but have a lot of flexibility. I specialize in caring for your pet while you’re away on vacation for a weekend, a of couple weeks, or just a day or evening out on the town. I love animals and I feel it's one of my passions to take care of them because they take care of us.

My dog was attacked by another large dog and had his leg broken. It was very traumatic so I’m super careful and typically avoid interacting with dogs I don’t know during our walks. I will be even more protective of your dog. Pets can be unpredictable when they aren’t comfortable so I like to do meet and greets prior to the visit. I’d prefer to care for pets that will be willing and able to receive all my cuddles and love after a warm-up period. Shy and timid behavior like cats hiss, dogs bark is fine. However, aggressive non-playful nipping, scratching , biting or showing teeth is not. If my safety is threatened I will end the visit but also be communicative to let you know what’s going on.
A typical day
I love giving pets and scratches! Playing with toys and going for walks. I definitely talk to them like they are humans and I may even sing to them.

Pet care experience
I've had a pet most of my life. Missy was my first cat but I've had 5 since her. Cats typically love me even the shy ones. Max was my first dog but I've lived with or owned 5. I even owned a hamster named Ralphie when I was a young adult. Currently, my husband and I have an 13-year-old Yorkie, and a CA wood turtle. I walk, love on, feed, and have bathed all my pets.

Andie was a terrific cat sitter for my kitties. She communicated well throughout and followed my instructions. Although not all my kitties are happy to interact with people they don’t know, Andie did her best to be report on each one. It was very reassuring to have her taking care of them!!
Andrea does a great job with my Ziggy- I feel at ease knowing he has someone to get some love and attention and playtime with while I’m away. She also brings in my mail and leaves everything exactly how I left it, I’m so glad I switched from my old pet service and found Andrea!
Andrea is the best. I'm so thankful to have found her. She is trustworthy, sent the silliest photos of our kitty, and gave great updates with every drop-in visit. I am so appreciative of the love and care you have given Gus for us while we were away.
