“Ian was great with my young, energetic puppy during the meet and greet. He worked to reinforce behaviors that we are training, such as no jumping. He arrived for my pups visit on time, followed all directions, and left a tired and happy dog! I am so glad to have found him for our dog care needs!”

“Lori is lovely and dependable! I booked a bit last minute and she was able to FaceTime so we both could feel comfortable. She met Willie 🐶 on FaceTime as well. Very trustworthy, I would absolutely 💯 use her services again!”

“Sarah did a great job. The cats were fed per schedule. She is clearly a cat person as one of the cats that never comes out when the strangers are in the house, came out to check her out. We are happy with her service and will schedule again.”

“Andrea did a great job looking after our kitties. She is creative to find solutions when my cat doesn’t take his medication easily. Having Andrea gave me peace of mind to travel and I’m grateful!”

“Kaitlyn is amazing. I was on a camping trip with little to no cell service, so I couldn't get the rover ap to load. She agreed to text me to keep me updated on my my girls. They were so much happier than usual when I arrived home. Minimal snubbing. 15 out of 10 stars!”

“Amanda was really responsive, communicative, took great care of Hudson, and was extremely respectful of our home! We were lucky to be able to work with her on short notice for the holidays. Would absolutely recommend.”

“Bella was so caring with our cats, very communicative and compassionate! We loved seeing the pictures and updates, it’s obvious she’s incredibly passionate about animal care. We will absolutely be booking her again soon!”

About: I have 13 years of experience, caring for dogs and cats. I owned and cared for my German Shepherd dog for a wonderful 13 years before she passed away. I love dogs of all sizes and I feel comfortable around all breeds. I am a former finance professional who left corporate and I am now retired early. I would love to walk your dog or take care of your pet. I am retired and my days are very open to take care of your pet. My main goal is to spend time with your pet and take them for a walks. I cannot have pets of my own because my husband is allergic to everything furry. I cannot care for pets in my own home, but I am happy to care for them in your home. I will play with your dog, take them for a walk, feed them, administer medication, and spend time with them. Most dogs love me and I am comfortable around any breed including German Shepherd, Doberman, Boxer, etc.
“Michelle was able to accommodate to my changing schedule when I went out of town! She was professional and did everything we need to take care of my cat. A+ work! Would recommend!”

“Lenny is absolutely amazing! We just moved from overseas and I was worried my dogchild (he’s a senior) was going to have a problem bonding with a new sitter because he adored his last sitter. It’s safe to say he adores Lenny already and that’s such a relief. Lenny is such a great communicator and I love all the pictures taken daily. I couldn’t have picked a better person.”

“We have a newly adopted rescue and he is just learning the ropes. Really appreciate Johnathan’s patience and also the very calm vibes he brings to our kiddo. Amazed at how calm Slinky is walking with him (like, calmer than when I walk with him!!!).”

“Sam took such great care of Peaches and Latke! It was so nice to know they were in good hands while we were away. We definitely hope to be able to book with Sam again in the future! Thank you so so very much!”

“Matt did a wonderful job caring for our 3 cats when we were out of town! We have a complicated cat set up and he managed it smoothly. We loved getting twice daily pictures and videos of our babies. 10 out of 10 recommend Matt!”

“Erin was wonderful! I had complete confidence during my trip that my fur baby was in good hands. She left the BEST pictures and extremely detailed notes which helped ease my mind and made me feel like I was there and didn’t need to question what happened during the visit. She was extremely communicative and kind. I would highly recommend Erin if you are looking for someone you can trust while you are away.”

About: Neighbors and friends/family have trusted me with their fur-family members and I have cared for a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also aided my own doggo through a seizure and helped transport him to the ER. I am currently a full time college student, however, I have many breaks and a flexible schedule that would be perfectly occupied by caring for your furry friend! I will always follow provided directions carefully and closely in regards to your fur-family member and will contact you beforehand if I have any questions/concerns. All in all, I treat every animal I come across as my very own because I know that’s how I would want my own doggo to be treated <3
“Jen was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter! Friendly, dependable, and fantastic with our dogs. Communication was clear and consistent while we were away, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful updates, photos, and care she shared. We’d happily trust our pups with her again—highly recommend! 🐾”
“Grace took such great care of my cats, and they warmed up to her very quickly! My cats are notoriously messy, and she left things cleaner than when I left. I would definitely recommend and would trust her to catsit for me again.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Hybla Valley
I couldn’t be happier with the care Kaitlyn provided! She did an absolutely amazing job and made the entire experience completely stress-free. She was reliable, attentive, communicative, and clearly put a lot of care into making sure everything was taken care of while I was away. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and caring sitter. I will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future. Thank you so much!

This is our third time that Kathryn has taken care of our sweet Angel. She is truly the best and goes above and beyond with updates and letting us know how our kitty is doing. We have had a stress-free trip thanks to her. We would recommend her a thousand percent. We know our kitty cat adores her too!

Rebecca was fantastic! The best cat sitter we have had. She sent photos and videos and clearly spent time playing with our cats and it was clear they came to trust her and look forward to her visitors. I also really appreciated coming home to a clean litter box and all the food bowls and cat food trash taken out. Will definitely use Rebecca again!

Annie was amazing and we're so happy she was our first experience with Rover! She followed instructions to a T and more, messaging us when our directions lacked sufficient detail. She made sure our cat got the full treatment, including playtime and continuing our training. We were worried our cat would like her more than his newly-adopted family ;) We'd definitely use her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hybla Valley. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
