About: I have owned pets with my family since I was a baby, and I have been volunteering with animal rescues since the age of 14! (to care for and clean up after cats/dogs.) I also own 14 fish tanks, and 2 beautiful kitties. All very well loved animals. I am currently working part time job during school. I am a college student but only have classes about 3 days a week. I am able to work best after school/ work hours, or on off days! About: Animals should be cared with respect and patience. Due to my background in helping out with animals and having a cat of my own, I know it is important to trust someone with your animal. My goal is always to create a calm, safe space where pets feel comfortable, relaxed, and very much at home. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I study online in the afternoons, which gives me flexibility throughout the day to accommodate walks, feedings, and check-ins as needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very mindful of maintaining their routine and respecting the space. I focus on safety, cleanliness, and keeping pets comfortable in an environment they already know. Additionally, for dog walking I plan on having clear communication with dog owner regrading the walking process. I would love to send owner in photos or videos of their pet while I care for them!

About: ***I am independently insured through PetCare for greater peace of mind while you’re away*** I've recently gone through a career switch from caring for humans (I was a registered nurse) to caring for animals last year. However, I have loved and cared for several personal and friend’s pets, to include cats, dogs, guinea pigs, birds, and reptiles, throughout my entire life. I hold a strong passion for advocating and caring for all beings with empathy, patience, and understanding. Since my career switch, I have experienced pets who need extra attention due to daily medications, reactivity, older age, anxiety, and helping to instill training (I am not a certified trainer) the clients are already teaching their pet(s) during my walks and/or pet sits. Dog walking and pet sitting is my full time job now. Whether you need a midday walk or need someone to care for your pets while you escape on vacation, I’m available for either service throughout the week, weekend, and some holidays. While I do not provide care in my home, I do travel to your pets while you’re away. My approach to caring for animals is with a lot of patience and respect. I’m happy to take it slow for each animal that may be a bit timid at first. I have a lot of experience personally and professionally working with animals who are timid, reactive, etc. For new clients, I like to have a meet/greet to go over care instructions before the pet sitting/walking dates. This gives us the opportunity to ask questions and discuss further what you can expect while you’re away. My goal is to provide care the way your pet is used to. I send daily updates/pictures/video to give you the reassurance that your pet is being loved on just the way you would if you were there.

About: I’ve had and loved pets my entire life! (I was convinced I was going to be a vet until I realized I would very likely sob every time a pet got sick.) From my black lab, Raven, to my cats Lily and Langston, to now, my long-haired chihuahua, Midge, animals are just a part of the day-to-day! Since age 12, I’ve been petsitting for friends, family, and neighbors (including overnight stays) and cared for dogs who are super energetic, playful, and independent to dogs who experience some anxiety and might need a bit more attention❤️! I also have experience caring for a bit older doggos. My black lab, Raven, lived to 16 and as her mobility and needs changed, I changed with her and it really taught me to be very attentive, gentle, and adaptive to a pets needs. I’m comfortable and experienced with walking, feeding, brushing, playtime, litter boxes, and loving and attention when pets want or need it❤️! So whether your pet is super energetic and playful or just wants a calm, reassuring companion, I’m happy to match their vibe and energy and make them feel loved and at home☺️🐾! I’m a rising junior at Virginia Tech and home for the summer, working part-time as a server in the Fort Hunt/Hybla Valley area. I have a super flexible schedule and lots of free time to spend with your pets, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, or whatever else your pet might need😊! Mainly, I care for pets in the comfort of their own home with walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays! I make sure to stick to their routine, make sure they get plenty of playtime, attention, and exercise (or just hang out if that’s more their style!) I don’t usually host pets in my home, but I’m super flexible and want to make sure your pet feels happy and loved, and I’ll always make sure to send updates and pics📸🫶!
