“Macy is awesome! She is so understanding, patient, and loving with our two labs (including one that takes a while to warm up)! Macy has excellent communication and is always on time, often early. It gives me such peace of mind to see how much our dogs love their weekly walks with her!”

About: Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting). I am in the medical field and am currently in between jobs, which allows my schedule to be flexible. I am available every weekday (and most weekends). For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule. I can stay and keep your pets company all day (as long as my Rover schedule allows, feel free to ask me!) or visit multiple times throughout the day before staying overnight. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.
“Lenny did a great job taking our 2 Great Danes on daily walks. The girls really like her and were very excited when she arrived every day. It is apparent how much Lenny likes animals and her enthusiasm and care for them really shows.”

“Leah has been a life saver! Originally, we had booked her for specific days. However, we had to extend last minute and Leah was communicative and flexible within reason. I could tell my fur baby was loved and appreciated by the big old eyes and smile during this time. Couldn’t recommend someone better to care for your furbaby!”

“Sweta is outstanding! Communication is key especially when away and needing to trust your walker not only with your pet but your home as well. She was prompt for the times scheduled, respectful of my space and my pet and neighborhood. Professional and kind hearted. I felt that my dog was in good hands with Sweta and will be a repeat customer in the future.”

“Kaitlyn and Auston have been lovely with my pup! They give wonderful feedback via Rober card and were very pleasant to meet for two meet and greets (: Envy gets her much needed walkies and outdoor time with them and comes back happy!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and caring for pets is something I genuinely love. I helped raise my childhood dog from the time I was very young, and she lived to be 17 years old. Through her, I gained experience caring for senior dogs, including providing patience and support during her dementia later in life. I also currently have two cats that I help care for every day. “We had the pleasure of having Natalie take care of our dog while we were on vacation, and we couldn't be more pleased with her service. She was absolutely wonderful with administering our dog's medications, ensuring they were given exactly as prescribed. Natalie also followed our dog's walking and feeding schedule to a tee, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We returned home to a very happy and well-cared-for pup. We highly recommend Natalie to anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: Caring for dogs has been a part of my life for over 13 years. I have experience caring for my own dogs as well as dogs belonging to friends, family, and others who have trusted me with their pets. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, energy level, and needs, and I approach each one with patience, consistency, and kindness. My experience includes daily walks, exercise, mental stimulation, reinforcing positive behaviors, and providing calm, reliable care, especially for dogs who need extra reassurance or structure. I have firsthand experience working with shelter dogs and understand how important trust and routine are in helping dogs feel safe and confident. I treat every dog as if they were my own and strive to make each walk or visit a positive, stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. Pet sitting and dog walking fit perfectly into my current schedule. We recently moved to the area, and at this time I am not pursuing full-time employment so I can settle in, explore the community, and maintain a flexible daily routine. All of my children are in school, and my own dogs are on a consistent schedule with early morning walks and daily exercise starting around 5:00 AM. This routine allows me to be fully present for my pets first thing in the morning while freeing up a large portion of my day for additional walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. Because of this structure, I am reliable, flexible, and able to accommodate daytime and early afternoon care with consistency and attention. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, and my schedule allows me to provide unhurried, attentive care to every animal I work with. I am a very meticulous person and strongly believe that a clean environment is a safe environment. Whether I am caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, I prioritize cleanliness, organization, and consistency to ensure pets feel secure and well cared for. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, exercise, and any specific instructions provided by the owner. I keep living spaces tidy, food and water areas clean, and ensure toys, leashes, and resting areas are safe and well-maintained. I also pay close attention to a pet’s behavior and comfort level, adjusting care as needed to reduce stress and promote well-being. My goal is to provide calm, dependable care in a clean, structured environment so pets feel safe, relaxed, and at home, no matter where they are.
