“Lenny is great! I could say more, but those three words fit perfectly. My dog loves her. I was sold by the first picture of my boy getting water on his walk during a hot day. Lenny is thoughtful and asks the right questions. I feel really good letting her take care of my boy. More to the point, my dog is excited for his walks – you can’t give a better recommendation that that!”

“Jeana is thoughtful and caring with our doggies! I really am lucky for having her as our dog walker. You’re amazing! Thank you so much Jeana! I highly recommend her.”

“Isabella is great! She's very responsive, flexible to help with added walks on unexpected days that pop up during the week, and she takes extra special care of my pup who can be stubborn at times and sensitive to heat. Highly recommend!”

“Lori was AMAZING with our dog Jack! She is reliable, very sweet with our older dog, takes great notes on her visits, and was thorough on intake to understand our needs and Jack’s norms. Love and we’ll be back! ❤️”

“Our pup was chill when we returned home; relaxed from his long walk in the cold. Carly took him on a nice long walk and he is now, a few hours later, happily napping on my lap. Carly must have kept him moving since they did almost 2 miles! And he loves to sniff, so that’s impressive! Thanks for giving him a healthy diversion while we were out.”

About: I currently have a 2 1/2 year old pug named Alfie. Love going for walks and playing with pups. Have spare time that I can dedicate to giving pets the attention and exercise that they need and deserve. Very attentive and enjoy being outside and living an active lifestyle. But if a dog doesn’t like activity as much I also enjoy cuddling and giving belly rubs inside the house as well. If you’re looking for someone to love your pet and care for them the way you personally would I am the right person for your dog walking or overnight stay needs. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have about your pet! Weekends are the best availability for me. I do have some availability in the mornings to check on animals and go for walks as well. I am willing to visit the pets home to care for them if they are more comfortable staying in their own space. Pets are also welcome in my home if they are good with another dog and comfortable being somewhere new.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful experience! She was reliable, communicative, and took amazing care of my baby, Denim Bleu. I really appreciated the updates and photos after each walk, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Denim looked happy, comfortable, and well cared for every visit. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable walker.

Carly was absolutely fantastic caring for our dog, Kongo, while we were away on vacation. She was consistently timely, punctual, responsible, and extremely responsive throughout the entire process. Most importantly, Kongo absolutely loved her, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while traveling. What truly stood out was Carly’s professionalism and calm demeanor when she unexpectedly had to deal with a malfunctioning smoke alarm at our home during our trip. She handled the situation confidently and without hesitation, acting as though it was no inconvenience at all — despite it being something far beyond what should normally be expected of a dog walker. Knowing Carly was caring for Kongo made our vacation far more relaxing and enjoyable. We are incredibly grateful for her reliability, kindness, and dedication. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy and exceptional pet care. Five stars all the way!

Jhonathan took excellent care of my pug when I was out of town for a few days. He came over multiple times a day, fed him, and made sure to tell me he was okay by sending me updates. I couldn’t be more thankful to Jhonathan. He’s my go to person to take care of my senior pug.

My boy, Henry, and I are repeat customers and so very thankful for Miranda! She walks Henry on a weekly basis and I know he looks forward to her visits! Knowing she had experience with a dog who just went through ACL surgery gave me so much added peace of mind. Highly recommend Miranda!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
